I’m in Texas and we have sausage and cheese kolaches and chocolate milk goes great with those too. The sweetness of the chocolate really compliments the pork fat.
My best friend is from Copenhagen and I was in that exact place last summer! I ate so many Danish hot dogs (although my favorite was one with spicy ketchup and mustard from 7-11 hehe) and I'm kind of addicted. I love the bread they use compared with the regular soft hot dog bun. Great episode!

The best hot dog I've ever had is a Mexican hot dog. They toast the bun and the slather mayonnaise on the inside. They wrap a piece of bacon around the hot dog and then grill it. Serve it with diced & grilled onions, peppers and jalapeños. Then you put whatever condiments you want on it e.g. mustard, ketchup etc
In the US we hear pickle and automatically think about a pickled cucumber. You have to remember that other countries pickle lots of other things, not just cucumbers, so they specify. It's like if we only grilled onions but no other vegetable, we might be able to say "hey throw some grills on my burger". But we grill lots of vegetables, so nobody would know what you meant if you said "throw some grills...". That's what it might be like for someone to hear an American say "pickles" when referring to pickled cucumbers lol

Remulade is common in Norway too, but we mainly use it on roast beef sandwiches. Im sure they have remulade in Sweden also.
For me the Danish hotdog is the "standard" or "normal" hotdog. When I hear hotdog I have to think of it^^, so yummy. I am from Germany :)
