It just never occurred to me that people lie..particularly about something so important, but I guess survival always outweighs being moral for some people...I suppose most of us might do things we wouldn’t normally do if we had absolutely nothing and nobody. Although my first spending would be on clothing and haircut to get a job. Being addicted to alcohol and drugs prevents people from having a life that contributes to society.
First off, mad respect and admiration for this man, for serving his country and then continue to work, no vacation, no stopping, just go go go, and not feeling sad about it. He knows that is the life he has and he does not whine about it. Also, his daughter is a good daughter, working with him when she could be using her masters and working at a school elsewhere. Lastly, and completely unrelated, this story reminded me of my girlfriend, who is in the reserves but at some point, after she earns her nursing degree, wants to volunteer to go on a deployment, to use her skills to hopefully save more than one soldier, and then work at the VA, caring for injured and disabled soldiers. While military life is new to me, hearing about stories about veterans and their struggles makes me admire her more. I may not be looking forward to the day she goes on deployment but I sure as hell plan to support her, because it is a commendable thing to do.
#respect! I am in Texas. If this video was out here in Texas, you would a have line every day. This would be free marketing for you. The food truck industry has taken over for the last 7 years here. Thank you for what you done for this country. We love Veterans and we love locals/food truck.
Couple of years back, i was living in a kind of slum house/neighborhood, my father had a nice car and he couldn't leave it on the streets at night because you know, bad neighborhoods where you hear that paint were dropped off on some other people's cars or theft etc. So he had to go drop the car in an office underground garage which we got accessed to from a family member but only for the nights. So he had to park the car at around 6 pm and get it back before 7 am (then return home by bus and go to the garage by bus), every day of the week. So it was hard, some days he was ill, some he was tired, other he was busy at work but still kept doing those cycles of picking and dropping. This video reminded me of those moments, couple of years later, we were able to buy a house in a nice neighborhood and the car is now park in the yard, no anxiety of who took your spot of the street etc. I know how it feels and i know this is hard life, this man is going though very though time but he has that scent of not letting go. I would advice him to get out of this, find another way of getting a living, go to the countryside, it will be much better.

Yes we do
Not necessarily. I hear stories from older vets about how they get fucked by the VA all the time.
@@FecalMatador That isn't a state-by-state thing. That is a VA thing. The VA sucks in all states.
Texas take care of their vets
@@danieldelacruz7305 Depends where in Texas you live.
She has a kindness level of infinity
Hope these guys see the best of there days, I hope it only gets better for them from here
You can tell Elizabeth is such a sweetheart right away.
Its like shes serving food to her family members. I love people like this
She's on camera .im sure she was giving it her extra15% that day
@@johnsmith-wx5fb I doubt it, it's harder to fake it than be real. She must be like this to a certain extent when there isn't a bunch of people in line.
I hope this man and his daughter both made it through the pandemic alright.
"Whatta ya gonna do, ya gonna go with a baseball bat and fight these guys"
Sounds like NY in the 50s.
What? NY has always sounded like that.

Hard man right there.
The world needs more people like him.
Please don’t say hard man.
Much respect and love. Thank you for your service
When she called that boy sweetheart my heart melted 😍
There’s a homeless veteran downtown Madison asking for help but he shows an ID. I can’t imagine how that must feel. Although at first I didn’t understand why he showed an I’d. Thanks to this veterans explanation I now know why.

You’ve never heard of ‘stolen valour’??
It just never occurred to me that people lie..particularly about something so important, but I guess survival always outweighs being moral for some people...I suppose most of us might do things we wouldn’t normally do if we had absolutely nothing and nobody. Although my first spending would be on clothing and haircut to get a job. Being addicted to alcohol and drugs prevents people from having a life that contributes to society.
Love you guys and thank you both for your service
I ♥️ their dedication if I’m ever in NYC I’m definitely going there ..lots of love from London 🇬🇧

Did you go yet?
Christopher Bazaka I actually am going ??
Sir!!!! Huge respect to you and your daughter
Love it!
Nothing like a warm hot dog in the winter time with the MET behind you!
They look like a very nice and honest people. God bless them always
Man went to war and still has the respect to be kind to everyone
Big respect to the veterans
What a tough business and how strong of them to do this. They must genuinely be good people to also last this long 👏🏾👏🏾
nyc hot dogs are trash
Chicago vienna hot dogs is better
#respect! I am in Texas. If this video was out here in Texas, you would a have line every day. This would be free marketing for you. The food truck industry has taken over for the last 7 years here. Thank you for what you done for this country. We love Veterans and we love locals/food truck.
God Bless - Our Veteran's - All of Them...
Thank you so much. 🙌
Thank you to all the men and women that have served in the military!
It's sad to see that these veterans are doing this to make ends meet while they deserve much more than that.
Thank you both for your service to our country and God Bless you!!
I’ve actually tried their food a couple times since I live in NY it’s good
Thank you for your service, we need more people like you in the world. God bless!

Salute to Father and Daughter. Thank you for your service🇺🇸. I didn’t know how challenging the food cart business in NYC can be.
I love you both. Keep your heads up.ill be there spring of 2021. Thanks for your service. And I'll see you then
I hope these guys are ok during the epidemic
Kinda weird getting a nice car before a nice home
