Congratulations on getting your new pup. I know he found a great home. My favorite numbers are 3 and 4. I stitch almost every day, but Tuesday evenings I Zoom stitch with my friends in SC. I met them when we wintered there and we have become very close friends. I live in IN so it is great to stay in touch with them every week. We talk and laugh about EVERYTHING!

Then starting 1/1/23, I have stitched everyday some days for hours and other days only 15-20 mins. When I worked, Sunday was my big stitching day. Loved seeing all your stitching! 4,5
I'm thankful that most weeks I can stitch every day. A group of us meet at Panera every Thurs but believe it or not, I get the least done on Thursdays. I deliver Meals On Wheels in the morning and we chat and laugh a lot at Panera in the evening. So much fun.

I sit down in the evening with the intention to stitch and promptly fall asleep on my chair! I am thankful for your fun Flosstubes. I have followed you since the beginning. Love that you got another dog. I had to put my dog down and it took me 9 months until I was ready for another dog. I kept looking but just was not emotionally ready. I went for one and it had a brother so I came home with 2 chihuahuas. I try to stitch some each day. 2, 3
Enjoy your new dog! I stitch approximately 3 hours a day M,t,w,f (1 1/2 at work and 1 1/2 at home) and about 1 1/2 on Thursdays (because we go out that night and I'm not home). Weekends average about 5 hours each day unless I'm not home.

We currently have three, Mr Darcy 12yrs old, Louie 11 yrs old and Frankie (a girl named for Sinatra) all beagle rescues but the girl is beagle/treeing Walker coonhound. They bring great joy to our house. I have three children all with paws 🐶🐶🐶.

I often get a few shorter sessions during the day and then in the evenings I typically knit. Idk why I don’t stitch more on the couch in the evenings… too much fidgeting around with all the things (light & magnifier, etc…) 🥴🤔? It is such a joyful part of my life! I usually stitch at night if I'm not too tired. I find if I don't start stitching by 7:30/8:00 p.m. I get too tired and I don't pick up my project. I stitch at night when Joe and I are watching TV. Most days I stitch, however, there's nothing set in stone.

Loved the quilt hanging behind you. I do counted cross stitch everyday, ranging between short times and up to a couple of hours in the evening. I make myself sew or quilt during the daytime hours and leave the cross stitching for the evenings. Even when you are retired you still need schedules so you don't sit all day and "watch the world go by". You both have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Carol your new dog is so sweet! Congrats. I try to stitch every day for about an hour in the morning before work, but if I’m home on the weekends (which is rare) then I will stitch a lot on Saturday and Sunday. 1, 2, 3, 5.

I’ve been a knitter for 3+ decades and the X st bug bit me HARD in 1/2021 and I now X St everyday, with my best sessions in the AM with coffee. I often get a few shorter sessions during the day and then in the evenings I typically knit. Idk why I don’t stitch more on the couch in the evenings… too much fidgeting around with all the things (light & magnifier, etc…) 🥴🤔?
It is such a joyful part of my life! Probably I get more stitching time on Saturday/Sunday. Carol, we should have a Tiny Town SAL in 2024, I’ve been collecting them too! 😮😉 Happy Stitching!

I usually stitch at night if I'm not too tired. I find if I don't start stitching by 7:30/8:00 p.m. I get too tired and I don't pick up my project. I stitch at night when Joe and I are watching TV. Most days I stitch, however, there's nothing set in stone.
I am usually able to stitch about an hour at a time, three times a day, almost every day !

So wonderful that you were able to find a new furbaby. She will just blossom as she begins to feel your love. Great job on all of the finishes! That is definitely my least favorite part of stitching. I think I stitch more on Thursday. By then I feel like my house is fairly clean and all chores are done . I spend Fridays with my sweet daughter. 2, 3
Loved the quilt hanging behind you. I do counted cross stitch everyday, ranging between short times and up to a couple of hours in the evening. I make myself sew or quilt during the daytime hours and leave the cross stitching for the evenings. Even when you are retired you still need schedules so you don't sit all day and "watch the world go by". You both have a Happy Thanksgiving.
