- From the 1970s, here's my single favorite playing of Five Price Tags.
Start to finish, the most thrillingly-directed (by Marc Breslow) playing of this specific pricing game. Ever.
I’m restoring a 1974 Dodge LRP Van right now. It was a One Owner Van it’s entire life till I found it. Watching this makes me realize what a true time machine it is. So rad, I bet that was one of the happiest days of her life. That was the coolest thing to be rolling around in in the mid to late 70’s
This contestant was so much fun to watch.
"...mirrored celing" O_o ...because it wasn't quite obviously shaggin' wagon enough lol I'm so happy this lady won! Especially when she said, "Please let me win" I was like awwwww give her the damn van!!! haha
I think the Bob was stalling that he could see a bit of the price and knew she was a winner. He was a great host!
He was the master of deception.
It's called the false reveal, and it helps build up the excitement!!!
She's a riot! What a fun contestant!!!
Probably one of the first five digit cars outside of Golden Road on daytime TPIR. 5/11/1977
And on a Christmas Week 1982 episode, another 5-digit car, a Cadillac Cimarron was won, too.
@@jnadle1 do post video from Chrismas Week 1982. Season 11 Price is Right.
They'd use this van quite a bit for Hole in One, back when it was only one putt but they offered "luxury" cars.
She had one shot at winning the Dodge Van and nailed it!
Bad ass dodge ram custom conversion van!
That's a bad ass van! Lookin like The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo!
8-Track stereo. Those were the days.
I remember years ago when someone had uploaded this clip as well as either clips or full episodes that had the Ford and Chevy versions of this van. One of the others was won but the other was lost; I forget which was which.
Talk about being down three and coming back on the last small prize for the contestant, not to mention picking the right price with just one pick. Definitely a miracle win for sure!
5:15 We ARE in the presence of a miracle!
That was awesome !
thanks for the upload. I had seen this episode long ago and could never find this one again. I would have included it in my vans collage on my channel.
I like the 70s price is right so wild the abundance are when some wins a car
OK, this episode needs to be cleaned up and given the wonderful treatment it deserved. This is how you host a game show my friends!
GREAT WIN!! As poorly as she played the game, as Bob would say, "We are in the presence of a miracle!"
Gotta admit, the audience was thrown a CURVEBALL. As was Tamaria. But she won and pulled victory from the jaws of defeat.
I love seeing a contestant win when he/she is convinced there is little hope of winning
My dream ride!!! So cool!!!!
0:05 I feel so good lol
5:15 YES!!! Tamaria just won the customized 1977 Dodge Tradesman B200 from LRP! Way to go!
And with just one choice of the Five Price Tags, too. Amazing!
She been saying “false” throughout three prices that is true but she finally said false and paid off choosing only one choice of the five price tags and she decided which price it is choosing $10,141 and won the van!!!! That’s looking like the A-team van!
This is from 1977!!!
Couldn't see the mural very well
