There is one that act like Chung Ah(the girl in this drama) but she seems notnin a mood to have relationship. So I let her be and remained friend. People might have different opinion and view, but maybe because all the mute/deaf girls in my school are pretty...😂
The actors (both, these and Eun-gyeol and Se-kyung) are so good at their roles and have such good chemistry. I love these chracters so much!!! Like they have such a perfect balance of fluff and angst, it's incredible. I can't wait till Yi-chan realizes his feelings for Cheong-ah, we're all gonna die of adorableness when it happens. I really like how the writers are echoing certain scenes, like when Cheong-ah is asking Yi-chan why he invited her to the festival when she can't hear, it reminded me of the scene of the future when Eun-gyeol argues with Appa when Appa tells Eun-gyeol that he should have persuaded him and Eun-gyeol answers 'how? You can't hear my music.' But the answer Yi-chan gives Cheong-ah is so precious, I hope he can give that same answer to his son in the future or that Eun-gyeol realizes that and shares that beautiful part of him with his family in the future too. 🥺 Also, the way that you perfectly balance the dialogue with the scenes *chef's kiss*

I want him to know her story and how her mother left her and family mistreated her and I want her to know his story and how he live with his grandma and without his parents. He is the main character himself, so Eun Gyeol story is basically his also... but don't worry, we can have the conclusion that we want so badly through Eun Gyeol... His son eventually bring justice to his father's life and want nothing other than his father's happiness... So far, we think we saw Eun Gyeol but Yi Chan is there all the times supporting and loving his son with all his life😊

I'd say this drama doesn't focus that much on romance, so it's not really like there is an obvious main couple, unlike most Korean dramas. In terms of screentime, I feel like Eungyeol and Yichan are the main leads if you have to choose only two.

You are exactly right ..thats why it does not feel very satisfactory ..it feels more pity ...she is like a second choice ..and only 4 episodes are left , he still has crush on other girl , still competing for her .writers should have not dragged it to make it suspenseful because it is defeating purpose of theme of show which is supposed to be "finding true meaning of love and care between family members"
What makes me give up for not thinking that she was only 'yi chan second choice' is when they talk about cheong ah school purposely had class during their school event and yi chan was more concern that sekyung not coming. Boy, you just talking about cheong ah yet you dont even think / doubt that she might not coming to see the performance too. So im confuse with this 'he fell harder' thing. Like guys.. Where? And I only see that he started to get concern (more) about cheong ah after he got rejected (indirectly). I too hope they will show his pov if he really like/love her before the rejection.. Like if the last song really meant for cheong ah, if he really looking for her in the crowd.. All of this small moment might do some justice and not just end with 'settling down with the second best' ship. Still rooting for them 💪
Whatever people say in defend of yi chan, the cheong ah is rebound and will always be second choice ..he does not love her actually ..it's more like pity or feel good emotion when somebody confess to you .. The thing people have to give validate the love between them that yi chan will eventually realise that he loves cheong ah ,in fact proves that he didn't develop those feelings ...show did poor job to show that love between them because it doesn't feel like that that's why we are still waiting to happen because it never happened on first place ...it appears more like rebound , pity , and settling with second best because you can't have the your first love . Writers should have taken the different more realistic path ...and provide better ending for cheong ah where she evolve her self to more confidence and self loving person where she doesn't a boy's love to feel special
you seem to forget adult yichan is mature enough to recognize cheongah as his one and only true love. there’s a difference between a silly crush/bet and real love. eungyeol changed their story by messing with the past but the outcome is still the same. yichan falls in love with cheongah for her sign language anyway. in the original timeline they met at 20yo in sign language class but they met earlier at 18yo now. yichan is slowly moving on from sekyung now bc he only thought about cheongah after the festival. he said he waited for her. how do y’all not see that? he clearly has feelings but he’s in denial about them. even in the ep13 preview he’s mad at eungyeol because he thinks no one cares about cheongah but him. he didn’t mention sekyung at all. it’s also important to note cheongah’s lack of screentime is also the reason for why yichan is slow in realizing and accepting his feelings.
Good emotion when someone confessed to you can be the start of love flame, he has silly crush in the other girl because she’s pretty and he didn’t even notice that her current self is different from the person he liked before she goes to the US. They are all teenagers so I don’t think anyone of them felt real love yet, but the older they get the more love they will feel to each other if they chose to date the right person.

Damn this yichan is gonna hurt after sekyung rejects him and then cheongha being the perfect rebound as she already likes him i dont want their story to continue anymore i mean why is she the second choice every freaking time even when eungyul brought her to their secret rehearsal he was pissed wasnt happy he felt high only when he knew she likes him isnt it annoying and said yes she can join his band and until ep 12 he still wanted to be chosen by sekyung writernim i hope at the end we see liitle crumbs on yichan doing all little things subconsciously for her and didnt realize kinda clip cuz m very confused to whether he ever actually even like her and if yes then when did he start liking her my heart aches extra for cheong ah also cuz she is disable 😢😢
You are exactly right ..thats why it does not feel very satisfactory ..it feels more pity ...she is like a second choice ..and only 4 episodes are left , he still has crush on other girl , still competing for her .writers should have not dragged it to make it suspenseful because it is defeating purpose of theme of show which is supposed to be "finding true meaning of love and care between family members"
What makes me give up for not thinking that she was only 'yi chan second choice' is when they talk about cheong ah school purposely had class during their school event and yi chan was more concern that sekyung not coming. Boy, you just talking about cheong ah yet you dont even think / doubt that she might not coming to see the performance too. So im confuse with this 'he fell harder' thing. Like guys.. Where? And I only see that he started to get concern (more) about cheong ah after he got rejected (indirectly). I too hope they will show his pov if he really like/love her before the rejection.. Like if the last song really meant for cheong ah, if he really looking for her in the crowd.. All of this small moment might do some justice and not just end with 'settling down with the second best' ship. Still rooting for them 💪

Whatever people say in defend of yi chan, the cheong ah is rebound and will always be second choice ..he does not love her actually ..it's more like pity or feel good emotion when somebody confess to you ..
The thing people have to give validate the love between them that yi chan will eventually realise that he loves cheong ah ,in fact proves that he didn't develop those feelings ...show did poor job to show that love between them because it doesn't feel like that that's why we are still waiting to happen because it never happened on first place ...it appears more like rebound , pity , and settling with second best because you can't have the your first love .
Writers should have taken the different more realistic path ...and provide better ending for cheong ah where she evolve her self to more confidence and self loving person where she doesn't a boy's love to feel special
you seem to forget adult yichan is mature enough to recognize cheongah as his one and only true love. there’s a difference between a silly crush/bet and real love. eungyeol changed their story by messing with the past but the outcome is still the same. yichan falls in love with cheongah for her sign language anyway. in the original timeline they met at 20yo in sign language class but they met earlier at 18yo now. yichan is slowly moving on from sekyung now bc he only thought about cheongah after the festival. he said he waited for her. how do y’all not see that? he clearly has feelings but he’s in denial about them. even in the ep13 preview he’s mad at eungyeol because he thinks no one cares about cheongah but him. he didn’t mention sekyung at all. it’s also important to note cheongah’s lack of screentime is also the reason for why yichan is slow in realizing and accepting his feelings.
Good emotion when someone confessed to you can be the start of love flame, he has silly crush in the other girl because she’s pretty and he didn’t even notice that her current self is different from the person he liked before she goes to the US. They are all teenagers so I don’t think anyone of them felt real love yet, but the older they get the more love they will feel to each other if they chose to date the right person.
