More than anything in this drama, I loved seeing how much Eun gyeol loved and cared for his parents and how meeting them in the past helped him to finally live, not just for his family, but for himself.
Eun gyeol is a character full of love, sensibility, compassion and care, not only for his parents but for everyone around him, he truly became one of my fav character!!

i love how he initially intended to save his father and ended up saving his mother
He saved his dad too. He convinced his dad to continue studying and find success in life (thus fulfilling his great-grandmother's dream) he also helped Yi Chan find the strength to not give on his dreams even after losing his hearing. In the new future Yi Chan stays close friends with his band mates and works in the musical instruments business.
He saved them both actually.

I love how Eun Gyeol helped his father shine throughout his youth and he also helped his mom communicate with the world.

It's like he was the angel who has the duty to make sure that his omma and appa is happy , se gyeong doesn't commit suicide , mi joo doesn't feel guilty .. but through all of this somehow he starts to learn to heal and grow by himself while knowing that he has the coolest family ever ! ❤
The connection between EG and YC is so special. Theirs is one of the best father/son love stories I've seen in a long time. It didn't matter what timeline they were in, their bond was always stronger than anything. Even though YC didn't know whether EG told the truth about being his son, he felt their biological connection. This is why even teen YC would give his life for EG. Its not to say EG doesn't love all his family, but no one can deny the relationship this father/son has is so remarkably profound. They had each other's backs, fought and argued, believed and trusted one another. Protected and cared for each other. They weren't just family they were also best friends. I mean can you imagine how it felt for EG to get to know his dad who could hear, talk to and play music with him 😢😭 He got his wish for YC be apart of his dream/passion and vice versa. Ugh I love these two 😭
I just cried a whole one hour of watching the last eps, now I'm back to crying again watching this edit 😂😭 a very detailed video to show the beautiness of their growth in relationships in this drama. Ha Eungyeol, you are truly an angel to your parents ♡

But you did everything excellently! You have done great things not only to your parents but also to their friends. You have rescued Cheong Ah and mended her relationship with her father. You were the reason why the villains got what they deserve. You have saved Eun Yu from dying and let her see the beauty of living. That amazes me 'cause you' ve been through so many sh*ts in life yet you choose to live and live it to the fullest. You have saved Ma Joo from years of regrets. You saved Hyun-ul from being hurt badly during rehearsal. The band even performed during the festival and had their shining moment in HS. Made Yi Chan dream bigger and chase it no matter what. You made him 10x better. Probably, your grandma was happier because of the changes. You even saved your father's friendship with his bandmates and that probably made their lives so much brighter and better. I'm so proud of you! ❤

We were definitely robbed of Se- Kyung's part of story... Hope they add these in the special episode too...

I love this family so much ,eungyeol is the sweetest son a person can get. This drama is so heart warming if you are keen on family rather romance I wished there were more screen time for Chungha & Yi chan,my favorite couple ,I really didnt feel the spark of eun eun couple its not acting fault but the characters . I love relationship with young parents & eungyeol . As Yi Chan already said he was so protective love yichan like a father ,son guided his father ,protected him. In future yichan is so lovely protective father too. He changed both of his parents lives for the better . He got to understand how hard his parents lived.

It is worth watching trust me. Not to say you won't be in for some pain, but the entire story of this father and son is so rewarding. The ending could've been better, but it's satisfying.

Best edit & summary for this incredible drama . Well there are some gaps well I would like to know whether mum or dad remember him,named him remembering their friend. I think yichan got it, that cassette even he didnt hear he cant forget his song that friend who guarded him a lot. And eungyeol said be my father keep that promise yichan definitely understood it.This is a very beautiful drama about family love ,our parents went through same struggles like us at our age, eungyeol could understand his dad more. He littlerally changed both parents lives.
