LOLOL! OMG I said my headsets were AKG 420's but they are AKG 240's - ugggg, gummy bear fail!
Reptile by Periphery is an absolute journey and I'm confident you'd love it.
Periphery's bassist, Adam 'Nolly' Getgood, is also an amazing engineer/producer and has an extremely good ear for guitar and drum tone. I'd recommend listening to him and Plini going a collab together on guitar with the song 'Blue Angel'
Absolomb has to be next!! So many layers in that song
Fun fact: Nolly, the producer and former bassist of Periphery, also produced Haken's 2018 album
Song like The Bad Thing, Luck as a Constant , Satellites, Absolomb, Omega, and Lune are all amazing songs by them.
You've gotta do Satellites. It's so beautiful.
Omgomgomgomg another Periphery track! Looking forward to this 🥰
A really interesting listen is David Maxim Micici, Some of the coolest production I've come across. "Living Room" is a good instrumental, "Daydreams" is a good Journey as well!
I would love to see a Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza or a Dillinger Escape Plan reaction. 👍
Geebz, you might want to check Thank You Scientist. These dudes are killing it. Drums, bass, guitar, sax, violin, vocals. They are endlessly creative and virtuosi. Cheers
Vitalism please! An instrumental band from Brazil I would love to see you react to! Thank you and keep up the good work!!!!!
Sleep Token - The Offering, Jaws.... ANYTHING. You'll dig it!
Bleed by Meshuggah is an absolute must for you to cover! Thanks Geebz!
"Reptile" by Periphery should be next!
Some things to reply to some of your comments:
They do use synthesizing and electronic sound but they also use a lot of actual orchestral strings and choir for the tracks. It's very well done.
You definitely have to check Plini's Handmade cities" and "Sunhead" projects, masterpieces! 🙌
One of the coolest things about this song is that the guitars are also layered with some synths and thats one of the things that makes it so deep and amazing.
More Periphery songs please!!!
