It's just such a fun series to read every week! Most of the chapters are super funny and the characters are really good! I'd love to talk about and praise it more sometime!
Its so sad because when it's good i really like it, but it has a lot of different types of gag chapters that just drag so hard, and i feel like when it has a bad chapter it leads to a chain of bad chapters@TrentinArt
So glad you have Tenmaku Cinema high up, really underrated at the moment. Undead Unluck is by far my favourite, and both CSM and OP I’ve never missed a chapter of so your list is perfect
Cool Shock B.T. is such a surreal read. It's like Araki blindsided the editorial staff with the first chapter and the remaining chapters are the staff gradually wresting their control back.
Shoutout to Yugioh and Kaz. Greatest manga of all time, first manga I ever read when I found volume two in a half price books. I will always remember the cards with teeth.
D gray man is really really underrated ,it's my 3rd fav animanga of all time ,please revisit it ,it is really well written with good plot and characters ,the mc and main antag are really great too
Great video! Didn't expect to see yu-gi-oh so high, might check it out cause I love the anime. Also need to read Undead Unluck, one of the few I haven't read in jump
Thank you!! Yeah im a huge Yugioh fan, reading the manga was a ton of fun so if you like the anime, youll probably like it too! Undead Unluck is also a big favourite of mine!
Incredibly happy to see Yu-Gi-Oh! so high up! It's my personal favorite manga of all time and I feel it's super underrated despite its iconic status, so seeing it get so much love is very nice.
I totally agree, It's such a great manga and really iconic / inspirational but I think people mostly remember it as "that goofy kids tv show" when even the 4kids dub was really good imo. The manga though is something else entirely and I wish more people read it, maybe i'll make a video on it someday so more people do haha!
I’ve been looking at the big titles for a while, because I’m really interested in how the magazines big titles evolve throughout the ages. But this gave me a good look at the shorter Shonen Jump series to check out. Apparently Captain Tsubasa also had the main characters grow up as the manga went on, and they eventually became professionals, but I haven’t read it as that is a behemoth of a manga
Im glad you found some stuff that interest you! Jump is full of cool big series and smaller lesser known ones which are all worth checking out. Ahhh i didnt know about Captain Tsubasa as i havent read it yet but im looking forward to it, there are some really old baseball series like that though!
Medaka Box and Straighten Up top 50 sweeeep!!! Both are top 10 for me, I recommend looking into Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro too. Also, Undead Unluck being top 3 really made my day
Really reall love UU, been my favourite manga in Jump to read weekly for a while! Glad to see another fan of Straighten up and sometime soon I hope to fully read Medaka! Ive read 5? chapters of Neuro I think and it was really solid, looking forward to reading it one day!
@@TrentinArt It's the same author as Assassination Classroom (also highly recommended, I don't think I saw it on the list) and Elusive Samurai. From what I've seen on your twitter, Elusive Samurai doesn't really vibe with you, but even as a fan of the author I don't really like that one much either, so don't take it as too indicative of his other works' style.
I've watched all of assassination classroom and I enjoyed it! It was fun! Elusam is sadly just not for me, but from my experience of all 3 theyre very different
Shonen Jump is my favourite manga company in the world having some of my favourite manga stories, and favourite stories in general, in it. My favourites are Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh!, My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man, Dr. Stone, Demon Slayer, Assassination Classroom, The Promised Neverland, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Death Note. I’ve started getting into a lot more other titles as well. I have so many others, but, recently, I’ve started getting new titles entirely like D.Gray-Man, Spy x Family, Slam Dunk, Haikyu, Claymore, Jujutsu Kaisen, Food Wars, Chainsaw Man and Rurouni Kenshin.
Great list. Your tastes are different than mine but that allows me to discover new interesting manga. These series werent on the list so I have to wonder if you have read them? I consider them good but they dont seem to be really popular Eyeshield 21 ( same writer as dr. Stone, sports manga about american football) sket dance ( same author as witch watch) magico (short magical series about rituals) Toriko ( battle shonen based around food)
Thanks for watching, and I hope you do find something interesting to read on this list! I haven't read any of those manga but I'm aware of all of them, and am looking forward to reading them all! I've made a conscious effort to save some series from the early 2000s so i'm not stuck with just 80s and 90s Jump XD
I’d love to see a top 10 or top 50 of jump plus manga as I would love to know how you rank the line up of jump plus manga. Im also specifically curious to know what you think of my 3 favourites, DandaDan, Mato Seihei no slave, kaiju no 8 and how low and high they might place on your list no hard feeling if you hate them I’m just curious what u might think of them
That could be a lot of fun, I 've read much less Jump plus manga though, but a lot of them are interesting and easy to pick up. Sadly I haven't read Mato Seihei no Slave or Kaiju no 8 but DandaDan is one of my favourite ongoing manga for sure! If it was on this list it'd probably be somewhere in my top 15 or 10
Chainsawman in second is a HUGE W. Nice vid! I’ve heard a LOT of good things about Zatch bell. Is it something you haven’t read, or something you didn’t enjoy?
@@TrentinArt oh snap. I thought all this time that it was in jump 😮 I could have sworn I saw Zatch in jump collage pictures. My mind is blown. Thanks for the info!
The axings of Hell Warden Higuma, The Last Saiyuki and Ghost Paradox Ghostwriter hurt so bad. Not perfect manga but the unique spins on them did a lot for me personally. Undead Unluck may be the most disgustingly underrated series of all time in my opinion.
I remember all 3 pretty vividly, Saiyuki was my first big axe which I wanted to survive, ahhh oh well it was fun while it lasted! And agreed even with its anime out UU still feels super underrated
Interesting list and I was pleasantly surprised that Black Clover, Dr. Stone, and Phantom Blood were high on the list. Phantom Blood needs more love! I’ve only seen the Chainsaw Man anime so the story itself is pretty interesting so far. And the action was fun. Also watching the Undead Unluck anime and I’m enjoying it so far!
Slam Dunk was solid for most of its read for me, but the final arc... That final arc is not only my favorite arc in sports Shonen, but probably one of my favorite final arcs in any shonen series ever. It's easily in my top 10 Shonen manga of all time. Definitely give it a full read and then watch the recent movie.
Probably just the sound on my end since I find most things too loud. In subsequent videos I've upped the audio quite a bit so in the future they should be better, thank you!
Oh you're 100% free to use it as a watch or read it, in fact part of why I made the video is just to introduce some of my favourite Jump manga to other people!
Can't believe I missed this, just turned on my youtube notifications for your channel. Really happy to see your channel continue to grow! Believe it or not, as much as I loved Magu-chan, I fell behind at some point and never completed reading it. You praising the ending is motivating me to pick it back up and finish it already. Awesome to see you give props to Live, I also wish it was longer! Fun little series. Big agree with your wish of having Usazaki back in the magazine after the unfortunate premature end of Act-Age. Psyren seems really interesting, I've heard a lot about it but never got around to reading it. Love seeing Aliens Area ranked higher than I expected, had a slow start but some great chapters as you said! I still can't get over how good the volume covers are too. Really interested in checking out Sand Land especially after your video on it. Even though I have only ever read 1 volume of Dragonball, Sand Land somehow seems more interesting to me. AGRAVITY BOYS AT 39! Love to see it. Such a funny manga, always makes me happy when others recommend it. I am in a similar boat with you on Gintama, my experience with the series is mostly from the anime (which I got pretty far into but never finished) I have only read the 1st volume of the manga, but I love the series a lot. I enjoy how unique your tastes are, Ichigoki and Ruri Dragon both being ranked as high as they were was surprising but adds more flavor to your personal Top 100. Witch Watch being up so high makes me incredibly happy, definitely one of my favorite current manga in the magazine, hope more people give it a chance! It took me a while to get past the first 2 volumes or so, but once I finally did, I couldn't stop reading and binged it in no time. Reminding me once again of the sadly crushed potential of Ayashimon. I really enjoyed that series for how short-lived it was. Really looking forward to whatever kind of manga Yuji Kaku cooks up next. Really solid top 10 too!!! You have really unique and cool taste in manga. I am excited to read Rookie's after I finish Rokudenashi Blues.
Aww thanks for commenting Mayu! -I think Magu might be worth reading just for the ending, although I hope you don't have too much to binge since I find binging comedy/SOL a little difficult. -Maybe a couple more people will check out Live since the only person I know who'se tried it is you lol -Psyren is pretty interesting, especially if you like the idea of deathgames, I remember the start being pretty gripping -In retrospect I like Aliens Area more now, and looking back I feel like we got a good slice of what it wanted to be so i'm kind of content -Sand Lands super digestible so I heavily recommend, and ive never read any Dragonball but it made me more interested to since i like Toriyamas art and characters a lot! -Gotta Rep Agravity Boys, it's such a good time! -I feel like liking ichigoki is definitely one of my weirder likes, but I really enjoyed it for so many reasons. Ruri is a little bit more complicated but i'm kind of fascinated by it's impact despite how few chapters it has -Witch Watch definitely deserves more praise, and Id love to talk more about it since i think its probbably the most underrated manga in Jump rn! Glad you liked the list and Rookies is a treat, im sure you'll like it if you like Rokudenashi Blues since I can only imagine Masanori Morita improved over time. Im really looking forward to reading Rokudenashi now too!
I have read 39 of these. There are still some great ones that you have missed or havent read or maybe you just werent a fan: other JOJO parts, beelzebub, shaman king, YUYU Hakusho, Toriko, nurarihyon no mago, saiki kusuo no psi-nan, dr slump and dragon ball, hungry joker I think is way better than black clover but the ending was blitzed, sensei no bulge, illegal rare, mieru hito, ultra battle satellite, mitsukubi condor. these are just th ones I think should be among those in this list. crazy commitment from you
There should be a 2024 version of this coming in September which would fill in those gaps! Dragonball, Dr.Slump, JoJo Part 2, Yuyu Hakusho should be there as well as a bunch of other older manga! For the axed manga you mentioned theres some fun ones there for sure which I think might be slightly outside my top 100? But I remember things like Ultra Battle Satellite pretty fondly! I'm excited to see how my new list compares!
Medaka Box is genuinely one of the best series ever published under Jump. Edit: I just finished the video, if you liked Iroha that much, you will fall in love with Medaka Box.
Ohhh glad to hear! I already loved the few chapters i've read plus Season 1 of the anime, but good point! I love Iroha a ton so I think Medaka box will join the higher levels of my list when I finish it!
Awesome video and congratulations on 100 followers 👏 plus this is a massive undertaking especially of SJ manga but I see the love and I just knew you'd like Me & Roboco as much as Crash lmao also don't agree with some of the rankings but you gotta read Slam Dunk with Food Wars all the way through for sure and showing so much love for World Trigger, Undead Unluck and Cipher Academy anyways here's my Top 30 since it'd take way too long for me to do 100 lol 1. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 2. One Piece 3. Dragon Ball 4. HxH 5. Gintama 6. Slam Dunk 7. I's 8. Medeka Box 9. Yu Yu Hakusho 10. Death Note 11. Bobobo-Bobo-Bobobo 12. Haikyu 13. Hokuto No Ken 14. World Trigger 15. Claymore 16. Shaman King 17. We Never Learn 18. Bleach 19. D Gray Man 20. Assassination Classroom 21. Undead Unluck 22. Food Wars 23. Dr. Stone 24. Naruto 25. CSM 26. Black Clover 27. JJK 28. Yugioh 29. Sakamoto Days 30. To Love Ru
Thank you so much! I 100% will go back to Slam Dunk and Food Wars at some point, anything I havent finished on my list i'll go back to. Real happy to see a lot of World Trigger love in my comments too, and Cipher Academy! Which is one of my current favourites! Your top 30 list is nothing but good stuff! I'm looking forward to a ton of these!
lots of cool stuff mentioned. ComiQ from Kazuki Takahashi sounds really neat and different compared to Yugioh. rookies i do remember hearing about and it does interest me
I've only read a little bit and unfortunately don't find it very funny, the jokes just didn't click with me. But I want to revisit it and finish it at some point!
Interesting and curios list, I know, this is your personal tastes and opinions, I understand that there are so many mangas and it's compicated read all of them, but one part of my heart was broke when I didn't see Yu yu Hakusho in your list 😅 I really love it, it's my favorites manga ever, I saw the anime when I was a child, I'm still buying the kanzenban collection and I have a figure of Kurama. No pressure, and I don't angry, anyone have their own preference.
I love YYH! I had seen the anime up until just before the dark tournament before making this list, but I hadn't read any manga. And more recently I've read the first spirit detective arc and I adore it, it'll definitely be on my next top 100 even if I don't read more before then
I think the bleach ranking is criminal, ive been reading it recently and i think its got some of the most interesting characters, powers and world building out of the big 3. One piece is still better, especially if you are caught up, but in my opinion, bleach deserves a solid 9-5 spot
I like Bleach, it's pretty high on my list, but theres a lot of manga I love more is all! I dont find the characters particularly interesting or well written but it has some great art and an unrivalled sense of style. It's world and fights are also a highlight too! At the end of the day it's all preference! Also I've read way more than 100 Jump manga so 30-something where I put it is really good!
@TrentinArt that's true, and I'm probably a lil biased since I've been reading it recently. But I curious about your thoughts on the characters, what did you think was badly written? I thought most side characters had pretty fleshed out backstories and motives, especially ichigo and Rukia.
Honestly can't really say much, I just don't think any of them are well written because i didn't absorb anything from reading Bleach. I can tell you what I like about Luffy, Naruto, Goku ... but Ichigo? He's kind of silent and stoic but not in a badass way to me. The best he was to me was during the fullbringer arc where I actually felt he had a bit of character, I often see people talk about him like he's super fleshed out but I dont see it and its not like I didnt read the manga. Maybe i should watch some videos on it or something. I actually like Burn the witch and its take on character writing much more, even though theres not much to it I felt like I understood Nini within like the 4 chapters we got.
I haven't fully read burn the witch, but i disagree a bit with that take on ichigo. i think the best we saw of him in my opinion was near the start. Ichigos reason for wanting to protect everyone so badly is because of hbis mothers death. When he was a boy, his mother died protecting him, he hated himself for that, since she was his world, and ran the house in a way. So he became angry even when people didnt blame him. Ichigo bears his pain silently, while using his powers for those who he loves. He gains nothing from helping people, and yet he does so anyways, and i think that truly makes a great character, better than others following the same stereotype (Itadori or Tanjiro)@@TrentinArt
I’m very curious as to what exactly Dragged My Hero down for you. In my opinion, it only got better as it went on. Each season was better than the last, & I seriously don’t get why everybody dislikes Gentle Criminal & Festival Arc. It was very emotional & important to the plot despite being a festival arc. The point of the festival in general was to be a morale boost after all that’s happened. Why do people not hate on One Piece after parties at the end of most arcs if they hate those elements?
Oh I absolutely LOVE Gentle and the festival arc, it might be my favourite part of the entire series. It's some of the other stuff I just dont vibe with, I think the arc directly after I found pretty boring. Deku is also a character I'm not a fan of which really drags it down for me personally as well as Shiguraki. Although i've liked recent chapters quite a lot so it might go up a few ranks. I kinda agree though I like the one piece parties and I liked the festival, but in One Piece case I genuinely want to see all the characters be happy and interact, as thats whats draws you in at the beginning. For MHA I dont really care about deku or a lot of class A.
You have a really interesting and unique taste, i like it. I watched this video in two sittings, so forgive me if i mention series that were in your list, but i would like to give some recommendations like, hokuto no ken( it is really interesting despite showing its age in some areas, but overall is fantastic, its quite deep and profound at times even), rurouni kenshin is also a fantastic manga with a phenomenal mc; toriko is also a great fighting manga with a very unique twist, the world is all about food😂; and lastly try space cobra, really fresh manga very unlike jump. Hope you like them😅. My favorite 3 are hxh, one piece and jojo, all the parts xD. Merry christmas btw
Thank you for watching!! I have reas dime Cobra for my History of Jump series snd I'll bring getting round to fist of the North star soon which I'm pretty excited to read! HxH, JOJO, and one piece are all top tier in my book too!! Merry Christmas!
I've read bits of parts 2,3 and 4 but not fully so they aren't on here, id like to go through them properly and add them later on though. I've seen the anime for them though so I haven't missed anything.
I've only read parts of 2-4 so I didn't want to include them, i've seen the anime for all of them though so don't worry I haven't missed any JoJo! They'd all rank very high probably
I think you have try to read Nisekoi, Hokuto no Ken, Hungry Joker, Double Arms, Level E, Wanted, Samurai 8, Dr Stone, Eyeshield 21, Ichigo 100, and Kimagure Orange Road. I think that it could like you.
Thank you for the recommendations! I'll read everything eventually. I've read Hungry Joker, Level E, Samurai 8 they just didn't make my list! And Dr.Stone is my 10th favourite!
My personal top 10 might look something like this never really thought about it 1. One Piece 2. Bleach 3. Naruto 4. Hunter x Hunter 5. Haikyuu 6. Toriko 7. My Hero 8. JoJo's 9. Hikaru no Go 10. Bakuman
for hitman reborn i dont understand what u mean with poor female representation. from that i remember reborn had moslty good representations (but if ur talking abt haru and kyoko when its valid and i get it) even tho the mangaka is a woman, compared to like naruto and bleach that was ongoing at the same time. and if u can expand by its "flawd". do u mean the ending? paceing? arcs? powers? age? etc Reborn is my personal favorite and trying to get behind by ur opinons good video tho
It's been a while but I've touched on it in a seperate video a little, I think it's Haru and Kyoko, mostly during the future arc, I just found it a bit too on the nose with how they were portrayed as only being able to cook / clean, look after Lambo etc. Then theres Chrome who I also discuss and I don't think she's handled well throughout the series, often being used or captured by male characters, I never felt she had much agency, it's just something that stood out when I read it and lessened my enjoyment seeing it's female cast being treated like this. Other than that I think Reborn is mostly solid but doesn't particularly excel in any area, theres some arcs I like less or more, theres enough characters I like that I enjoy the story overall. It's ending was nice and I like the artwork although i'd love if it got picked up fully and officially since the english run never properly finished from my understanding. It's not a manga I hate or even dislike, i can't say that about any manga on this list, I just like it less than a lot of of other manga, I hope that helps
You said that but it still surprise One Piece is getting number one. As I didn't see Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, or Rurouni Kenshin. Especially Hunter x Hunter on the list, and Sand Land on the list.
Havent read all of Yuyu or Kenshin. I have recently finished Dragonball though! I dont think its too common to read an authors less popular work before their big hit.
@@TrentinArt oh makes sense sorry about that also i was thinking so much about twin star exorcists that i forgot about ayashimon thanks for putting it high up and world trigger too
black clover made it to the top quarter of the vid thats really all I can ask for, I enjoy it a lot and I advocate for it but thats also probably where I would put it it doesn't do anything never really seen before but what it does do it does very well and thats the main appeal of it really
Black Clover is a ton of fun and I 100% agree, i dont think it does anything ground-breaking but it really nails all the core battle shounen elements, super fun to read!
I can forgive you not having DB on the list but if DBZ isnt there...im gonna hate your list lol Not being serious. Its your list. Actually think its kinda funny Jaco being there. Saddened at no Yu Yu Hakusho though
Chainsaw man prob my favorite but one piece is a kinda the overrated top 1. Not surprising. But chainsawman so good. Even part 2 is crazy. Best manga ever imo. I love one piece but chainsaw man has a good premise.
Oh I love both a ton, and maybe CSM is a tighter manga overall and potentially better by its end, One Piece just has a very special place in my heart since I read it over the course of many years in school haha. I dont think its overrated in the slightest, it's just had a lot more time to become peoples favourite!
@@TrentinArt agree. Been what 25-6 years already of one piece? Love it one piece. Great manga/anime think it deserves first. Everyone honestly should put it as number 1 no doubt. Just imo I love CSM. Prob most controversial manga to date by WSJ cus it has pushed limits for them on what to put in there. Only reason I like it. Plus the story is so crazy, it’s good. But Oda is honestly greatest story teller ever.
@@pwny1000 In term of it being overrated. It is the big names that go first so that people would buy the magazine for it and read lesser unknown start series. Especially One Piece blow up within its first year of publishing and revived the magazine in a post Dragon Ball/Slam Dunk era. Without One Piece holding up the magazine. Many people wouldn't able to read lesser titles, and titles that would got big later. When One Piece came out. Only what Rurouni Kenshin is the big name. The other top series were pretty medium at the time hence the declining for Shonen Jump.
Very good video and great Manga most of em that you've read ofc I disagree with some stories being here but this is not THE TOP 100 jump Manga this is YOUR PERSONAL top 100 jump Manga. But even with that being there are Manga I think you should read I'll give you 5 for now but there not from shonen jump but are or were weekly. 1fire force it has everything a battle shonen needs and it develops and uses its characters in a great story the s1 was good s2 is where the plot really takes off but if you can read it upto chapter 216 I guarantee you that you couldn't imagine what happens in 216 and how the story and world of ff unfold. 2 edens zero I read the Manga right after s1 ended a fee years back and it shows what a author can do when he plans out he's or her story. 3 ao ashi got me into sport stories thanks to a friend recommending me to watch the anime its Made by the same studio that did haikuy Aka production I.G its a 2 cour anime its genre is sport seinen and if the story hooks you like it did with me and if you read the Manga you'll see why it's a seinen its very realistic very VERY emotional amazing character usage and backstories overall it's the next haikuy to me. 4 and 5 are both magical Manga one of em is called frieren after a journeys end it has great art great cast many good backstories it has a great power system it focuses more on the characters development and ect than battles but when battles do happen they are great and very strategic and the other magical story is called witch hat atelier its quite dark for a magical series but it balances that aspect with the great characters and their stories and development. All these manga are 8/10 to me ofc but I hope when or if you read em to see where their true quality lies within the pages and panels like I said keep on with the great content and never give up.
Thank you very much for watching! I remember reading a chunk of fire force yearsss ago, but I've wanted to go back to it one day! Edens Zero is a lot of fun, I'm up to date! Ao Ashi i'll keep an eye on if I ever want a sports fix. Frieren and Witch Hat Atelier are pretty high up on my list and Ive read a chapter of both, looking forward to them a ton! Thank you for your comment and recommendations!
Undead unluck is my favorite rn, it never wastes a chapter.
Yess!! The current arc / mini arcs have been fantastic, it's non -stop payoff basically!
Ranking 100 manga is one hell of a work congrats my man👏
Thank you!! It took more work than I expected tbh hahaha!
Super cool to see Witch Watch so high up! I feel like readers in the west don’t give it the love it deserves. Super underrated, for sure.
It's just such a fun series to read every week! Most of the chapters are super funny and the characters are really good! I'd love to talk about and praise it more sometime!

Is sad that is cancelled now, but for my was one of my favorite mangas recently.

I was about to say this exact same thing. I revisited it recently and am so happy I did.
Great video once again! I've had my eye on Rookies for a while now but I had no clue it was in your top 10! Definitely gonna check it out.

3:32 I would highly recommend Hikaru no Go.
It's not about shogi, it's about go, another japanese board game.
Both the manga and anime a great.
Ohh thanks for the recommendation! Hikaru No Go's been on my radar a while since Takeshi Obata does the art and it just seems cool overall!
That's a lot!! Some real solid big names there too, a lot I need to read. Thank you for your comment!
Great list. Your tastes are different than mine but that allows me to discover new interesting manga.
These series werent on the list so I have to wonder if you have read them? I consider them good but they dont seem to be really popular
Eyeshield 21 ( same writer as dr. Stone, sports manga about american football)
sket dance ( same author as witch watch)
magico (short magical series about rituals)
Toriko ( battle shonen based around food)
Thanks for watching, and I hope you do find something interesting to read on this list!
I haven't read any of those manga but I'm aware of all of them, and am looking forward to reading them all! I've made a conscious effort to save some series from the early 2000s so i'm not stuck with just 80s and 90s Jump XD
Noah's Notes was my first big axe, I still get sad thinking about it's premature end. Ayashimon was great too.
I'd love to fully cover Noahs Notes sometime, it was so much fun!
Great video, man 👍 and congrats on 100 subscribers
Thank you!!
If it was on this list it'd probably be somewhere in my top 15 or 10
World trigger is underatted and need more love.
I agree, it's great and needs more eyes on it!
You only got 100 subs damnnmmmmnm u deserve more
Tysm! I haven't been making videos for long and im surprised I hit 100 already tbh! XD
Chainsawman in second is a HUGE W. Nice vid! I’ve heard a LOT of good things about Zatch bell. Is it something you haven’t read, or something you didn’t enjoy?
Yup I love CSM! Zatch bell is a shonen sunday manga so it wouldn't be on the list! I'd like to read it someday tho!
Some choices here are so strange haha, but still very interesting!
Thank you!! Out of 100 manga some are bound to be a little odd!
Yup love me some phantom Blood! Think this list would change a lot now but all the msnga you mentioned would still be very high 😅
100% plan to at some point, it was very solid when I read it but sadly I got sidetracked!
I love your videos but they are so quiet even at full volume, I think it could be an audio mixing issue?
Probably just the sound on my end since I find most things too loud. In subsequent videos I've upped the audio quite a bit so in the future they should be better, thank you!
Great video! Hope you don’t mind me using it as a watch(read?)list
-Maybe a couple more people will check out Live since the only person I know who'se tried it is you lol
-Psyren is pretty interesting, especially if you like the idea of deathgames, I remember the start being pretty gripping
-In retrospect I like Aliens Area more now, and looking back I feel like we got a good slice of what it wanted to be so i'm kind of content
-Sand Lands super digestible so I heavily recommend, and ive never read any Dragonball but it made me more interested to since i like Toriyamas art and characters a lot!
-Gotta Rep Agravity Boys, it's such a good time!
-I feel like liking ichigoki is definitely one of my weirder likes, but I really enjoyed it for so many reasons. Ruri is a little bit more complicated but i'm kind of fascinated by it's impact despite how few chapters it has
-Witch Watch definitely deserves more praise, and Id love to talk more about it since i think its probbably the most underrated manga in Jump rn!
@@TrentinArt nice I will be watching it. UBS I was shocked got cancelled like I enjoyed the first 6-7 chapter more than kagurabachi. WSJ has no chill
Red Hood is so low but I’m glad it made it on the list to begin with! 😭
It's pretty low down here but I do like it, i've read close to 200 shonen jump manga in total so it's closer to the middle if I added all of them.
@@TrentinArt excited to see your future videos as a fellow diehard fan of wsj. Keep it up💪
Awesome video and congratulations on 100 followers 👏 plus this is a massive undertaking especially of SJ manga but I see the love and I just knew you'd like Me & Roboco as much as Crash lmao also don't agree with some of the rankings but you gotta read Slam Dunk with Food Wars all the way through for sure and showing so much love for World Trigger, Undead Unluck and Cipher Academy anyways here's my Top 30 since it'd take way too long for me to do 100 lol

Roboco Nation will never die
Heck yeah!!! Pushing the Roboco Agenda!
great video /my top 5 favorites are 1-majin tantei nogami neuro 2-assasination classroom -3 kimetsu no yaiba,4-world trigger 5-hikaru no go
Thank you! I've been looking forward to reading more Nuero since ive only tried the first 5 chapters. Glad to see a fellow World Trigger fan!
Hikaru No Go love to see it
lots of cool stuff mentioned. ComiQ from Kazuki Takahashi sounds really neat and different compared to Yugioh. rookies i do remember hearing about and it does interest me
The comiQ is definitely interesting just to see something different of his than yugioh! Rookies is super solid and I highly recommend!
What do you think of Bobobo?
And more recently I've read the first spirit detective arc and I adore it, it'll definitely be on my next top 100 even if I don't read more before then
@@TrentinArt Nice, the dark tournament arc is definitly great, the arcs after it also too, enjoy the manga and it anime too 😉
Although I disagree with most of your opinions ,
This was a good quality video👍
Thank you! And more than fair, I know some of my opinions are a little wacky haha
Nice
Also, thank you for being rlly chill, its fun to just talk to people about opinions on character analysis :)@@TrentinArt
RIP Tenmaku Cinema
RIP but will not be forgotten ☺️
Where are parts 4,5 and 2 of jojo?
I've read bits of parts 2,3 and 4 but not fully so they aren't on here, id like to go through them properly and add them later on though. I've seen the anime for them though so I haven't missed anything.
you have Jojos part 1,6, and 7 on the list. But no 2,3, 4, and 5? seem like pretty glaring ommissions.
I've only read parts of 2-4 so I didn't want to include them, i've seen the anime for all of them though so don't worry I haven't missed any JoJo! They'd all rank very high probably
If we just focus on weekly shonen jump then my top 5 are:
1. Bakuman
2. World Trigger
3. One Piece
4. Hunter x Hunter
5. Assassination Classroom
Appreciate the Bakuman and World Trigger love, both are such great series!
Why fist in the North Star is not top on the ranks
I hadn't read it yet, I am reading it right now though, it's great!
I just can’t believe u have boruto over something like slam dunk 😭
Sadly i've only read a bit of Slam Dunk and thats why it's so low, it'll probably be much higher when I finish it!
CSM at 2. thats how i know u got taste
My personal top 10 might look something like this never really thought about it
1. One Piece
2. Bleach
3. Naruto
4. Hunter x Hunter
5. Haikyuu
6. Toriko
7. My Hero
8. JoJo's
9. Hikaru no Go
10. Bakuman
The Big 3 in your top 3!!! Very cool! Honestly very strong line-up, happy to see Hikaru no Go there since I recently read it!
for hitman reborn i dont understand what u mean with poor female representation. from that i remember reborn had moslty good representations (but if ur talking abt haru and kyoko when its valid and i get it) even tho the mangaka is a woman, compared to like naruto and bleach that was ongoing at the same time.
and if u can expand by its "flawd". do u mean the ending? paceing? arcs? powers? age? etc
Reborn is my personal favorite and trying to get behind by ur opinons
good video tho
9:47 is where i leave your video
Sure! I havent read it all yet though....
Bleach and gintama easily should be in top 5 lol
Wooo not for me tho haha, please make your own list if you think so!
prefering burn the witch to bleach itself? Weird but only tastes I guess that it will be lower on your top since it's related to bleach.
I just like Burn the Witch more, not much to it
I’m about to feint, no Yuu Yuu hakusho, rurouni Kenshin, or Shaman king? This is a lieeeeee
Just haven't gotten around to them yet sadly, a lot of manga to read! I've watched about 25 eps of the YuYu Hakusho anime though and it's amazingggg!
Please for sure get to shaman king and Kenshin, those have probably my 2 favorite MCs in animanga
👍👍👍
Nah katekyo hitman reborn is my favorite of all time cmon man.
Sure thats cool, it's just not mine! Feel free to make your own list and put it at the top!
2024
Prepping for it! A bunch has changed since this last video
Not enough tomboys. 0/tomboys.
I'm sure theres a tomboy or two in Jump, I just didnt mention them hehehehe
Poor Twin Star Exorcists
Twin Star Exorcists isnt in Weekly Shonen Jump so it wouldn't be on this list😊
@@TrentinArt oh makes sense sorry about that also i was thinking so much about twin star exorcists that i forgot about ayashimon thanks for putting it high up and world trigger too
black clover made it to the top quarter of the vid thats really all I can ask for, I enjoy it a lot and I advocate for it but thats also probably where I would put it
it doesn't do anything never really seen before but what it does do it does very well and thats the main appeal of it really
Black Clover is a ton of fun and I 100% agree, i dont think it does anything ground-breaking but it really nails all the core battle shounen elements, super fun to read!
I can forgive you not having DB on the list but if DBZ isnt there...im gonna hate your list lol
Not being serious. Its your list. Actually think its kinda funny Jaco being there. Saddened at no Yu Yu Hakusho though
Not read Dragon Ball yet but i'm looking forward to it! Same with YuYu Hakusho, I've seen a chunk of the anime though and it's great!
jump Fighters
Honorable Mention: Dragon Ball.
I really need to get to reading it because it's one of the most important shonen jump manga ever, I think id enjoy it a ton too haha!
My fav from shounen jump is one piece just basic pick
Ahaha it's hard not to pick it once you've read it, it's great!!
Dandadan? Peak
Sadly Dandadan isn't in the main Weekly Shonen Jump magazine but it'd be up pretty high! Like top 20 at least
@@TrentinArt its in shonen plus thats why
Yup! But not the main magazine which is what I was covering!
Jump do not know how promote or market manga that’s why so many manga are getting axed
Idkkkk they've been axing manga for 55 years XD
its your opinion but this list is alomst objectively wrong,
I encourage you to make your own then XD
why is naruto below mid piece@@TrentinArt
It’s a good thing taste is a subjective matter because damn… that’s some trash taste.
I mean I'd disagree haha but it is MY list so feel free to make your own
Very good video and great Manga most of em that you've read ofc I disagree with some stories being here but this is not THE TOP 100 jump Manga this is YOUR PERSONAL top 100 jump Manga.
