- Well here it is...The crescendo of our Victorian High Country Series. In this episode the crew take on Billy Goat Bluff, which is renowned as one of the toughest tracks in the High Country. Billy Goat rises to an altitude of over 1400 meters, requiring precise and skilled driving to navigate safely. Despite the track's challenging nature, the summit reveals breathtaking and awe-inspiring views of the High Country.

Wow, the boys are showing maturity and outstanding 4WDing skill sets way above their age. Ash’s cool demeanour and calming words “you’re all good” to Mia (Aston I’m uncomfortable, I’m uncomfortable) (I like them shut 😂) (I think there is a cliff!! 😂) (ASTON - “What?” 😂😂) (Happily shut 😂) under so much pressure is first class. Christian showed outstanding skills pushing the Dmax to its limits driving first - Crazy Crazy - Bit Loose - Awesome stuff guys. Great parenting guys 👍😎
Welcome to my back yard . There are a lot of steeper tracks if you want to climb them , you did well with trailers on in dry shale to get up Billy’s , it’s got a fair bit more grip when wet surprisingly, glad you got to see some of the country , just need to stop all the Melbourne muppets doing doughnuts in the camp grounds when it’s wet or it will get shut down and also cutting locks on closed gates during winter and ripping up tracks
Cameras would fix em
Definitely need to teach folk to treat the bush with respect. Not sure they’re all from Melbourne though.
Bogans shouldn’t be allowed to own well anything really. Doughnuts and cans of beer and sht music.
Fantastic to see patriot family enjoying the high country in vic, amazing driving with the campers, x 3 my favourite. I’m 64 years old and been 4wdriving on and off there for 40 years , fantastic camping and views . Cheers skipper dave
A credit to your crew, production team & of course your Patriot Family - that was bloody amazing to watch from start to finish!
Old Rob nailed that track in that 300, the best vehicle out of them all climbing billy's sooòoo smooth 👌
Because is a Landcruiser!!!
And falkens? 😂
The energy Justin has and to keep on his A game all the time is outstanding. The whole Family are incedible
I’m so glad y’all did the adventure instead of trophy truck content.
Thanks to all of you guys for sharing this amazing adventure with us to watch from the comfort of our homes! I loved every minute of it.
I’d love to get a fully capable overlanding vehicle one day to have memories with my fam as well. All about finances of course, times are tough for sure.
Appreciate the great series and satisfying my hunger for off road adventures. Much love to you all and keep doing what you’re doing!
Thank you very much for producing this epic series !! I loved loved watching. I am 57 and I brought myself a Ram 2500 2 years ago and luv driving it wouldn’t drive anything else now, and maybe I will try the same trip.
I love watching these videos. As a kid, I always wanted to go to Australia, not even sure why. This brings that feeling back. It would be awesome to wheel with these guys
It was awesome to see you all do this adventure, ive been watching all your videos from yesrs back, never seems to get old, cheers mate and congrats for overcoming billy goats bluff.. GB
Best series you have ever put out. Congratulations what a team. Credit to the awesome camera crew too.Episode 3 was the most insane I have ever watched on UA-cam. Thanks for the excitement
I have driven Billy Goats in the Snow whilst Snowing, you give that try. Great fun
Enjoyable series. Great place to explore. Thank you as each episode really made me realise how lucky we are with our son. Must have been difficult. 🙏
The 300 made it look like a walk in the park !
Mt Pinnibar is the highest road in the High Country - 1772m at the summit and there's room up there to camp. 4wd access only as well.
Can´t believe it´s finished.....could watch for weeks
Awesome episode guys, and a great challenge towing the trailers up. 👍👍👍
Twins done well. And Mia keep your eyes open 👍
Wow guys well done. I live in Victoria and haven't seen half of it. Thanks Jussi and family for inspiring me to change all of that 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Another good episode the smile on everyone faces speaks for itself! Hope to see more of the vic high country in future. thanks for putting in the effort to give us a look at wat it's all about.
Loved the series, Great effort by all, APPRECIATE the excellent footage and content.
Glad you enjoyed the VHC
Great episode! It brings back a lot of memories from my trip a few years back. I’m surprised you guys didn’t do Blue Rag. That’s scenic!
I’ve towed my X1 through Climies, and there’s no way I’d tow up Billy Goats. Guts move 👍
Loved the series, and it looked like a great trip. Thanks for filming 🤘💪
Great series guys. Thank you for presenting it.
Thanks for sharing your adventures guys !
Mt pinnabar is the highest place to take a 4wd I was there only couple months ago and all the Victoria high country is fantastic
Great series guy's very entertaining. Even after forty years of exploring in those hills ( we live to the south of the high country ) it is always humbling and still takes my breath away. Followed your run at Finke the boy's went really well and Justin mate so close great job hope you do a series on it.
Mia missed half the trip 🙈. Need to go back with her jeep with 😃 yup open eyes... good to see you do fun stuff with all the family involved.
Been loving this series. First time I ever went up there I saw a Patriot at the top - would have been 2019. Done a few more up and down since but never seen another trailer! I think you’re wrong about Dargo though, most people leave from there and go up and back down from what I have seen. I’ve started doing it on my way home and just going up - haven’t had the guts to go down it before getting my eye in off road on the easier tracks.
Awesome episode guys the VHC is certainly on my bucket list
Well done team. Absolutely awesome series. ❤
truly it would be an honor to see patriot campers overland in Namibia one good day
Looks epic. Can’t wait to do it when our family does our lap.
What a great watch , so love them trailers someday ill have one🙏
Pretty sure Mount Pinnibar is the highest you can actually get your 4WD at 1772m. Swaged up there a couple time , amazing sunset and stars.
That was such a great episode to watch. Thank you so much patriot tv
I've seen this track done in wet conditions....doing it towing is up there in the crazy town category 😳.....awesome video
Awesome family doing awesome things
one of your best vids well done to all getting up to the summit great work
Awesome series absolutely loved it
Rob knows, Falken Wildpeak ☑️
what a track billy Goat Bluff!!! incredible!!
well done for driving that.. its enough of a challenge for me in my stock 4wd.. shame you missed the view from the top.. it can be hit or miss. enjoy your trip
Best season ever team!!! ❤🎉
Mt McKay (@1842m ) is the highest driveable point in Vic as far as I know... it's pretty much 2wd access but still the highest point
Justin, you say you and boys coming back to High Country with twin locked and 40’s. If you do, make it more challenging by doing it in the wet.
Great family trip your a lucky man, keep it up
Sensational Ep Team!!
Great series guys loved it
Awesome content. Blue Rag Track is just a little higher in elevation
Huge respect
Fantastic episode. Thx
EPIC!! Enough said.
Obviously you've only just smidged the surface, for epic views for me was at that rock near the top on your left, and top of Blue Rag, that is awesome so yeah ya have to return.
Mate u iust inspired me to get off my ass load the kids n the 4b and go drive that track! Cheers loved the eppisode
Another fantastic episode.
Mt Pinnibar would be one of the highest points accessible by 4X4.
Yep, 1772m
Inspirational.
Well done! It's not getting any easier, and that's without a trailer!
Agreed! Was up there 2 weeks ago and the track was not as easy as they had it. Mate busted a CV about two-thirds up and that was driving it conservatively!
@@berkyj Yeah, it continues to deteriorate, and lockers make it much easier
WOW,WOW,ITS,5TH NOVEMBER Late night and I have been in ore watching you guys ❤ As I have ONLY NOVICE experience 4wdrivingi have soaked in SOOO MUCH,from this.MUST SAY,you as a FAMILY,ARE BLOODY AWESOME, nl
N9W IM go8ng to check out YOUR GEN X 2.
Once again guys an excellent season most enjoyable. The facial expressions on Mia’s face are so epic and funny. One question , Justin how about a patriot garage on the RAM 2500 build. That’s what I’m thinking of doing. The KISS principal. Thanks once again and Cheers.
For sure I think we should do it 👍
Love Rob dog such a cool cat 😂👌👌
👊
Great video. Interested to know if anyone had to winch on the hard parts between the helipad and the neck?
For anyone who may be interested, what Jezzy called rock castles are actually called "cairns" in ancient times these "cairns" would be a way of direction through walking trails :)
My favourite place in Victoria bar none.
@35:33 sounded like that bead let off a bit of pressure but glad it held on the rim!!
Tha t is this is the most e.pic thanks for that great video you showd the. Best of everything
Epic Trip..🤩
After watching this, I want to go to the Snowy / High Country again.
the River Inn is alot better - dont know if its still open or for private functions - had some great time camping under the pines...great series
Both isuzu's have proven why they are the best in their class .
Can't recommend the Cooper Rugged Trek enough !!
Great series guys, hats off to the camera crew for some epic footage. p.s. would like to inquire about what the cost is to have Sarah come on our next trip the food looked amazing.
😂😂😂 thanks mate!
Loved ev
Very minute
Yeah boy 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing spot. If you go up from Licola you can do it in a Mazda 2. Billy Goats is fun though
Towed my X1 up Collingwood Spur track and thought that was tough
44.44 " On top of the world "
one day would love to be able to get this happening in my life...
While the Isuzus are cool and capable I'd love to see how the patrol the twins build and the black truck do
I like all the series and season and please please do more adventures in this season and next season and if you could do some trips/adventures in NSW area that be awesome. Please please do that if you can.
Ps can you do a walk around tour of the Toyota Landcruiser GR Rob 4wd please
BLACK TRUCK ?? 😥😥😥😥😭😭😭😭
Miss seeing the BEAST in your episodes. 💔💔💔💔
I'd be curious to know which of the twins Justin thinks is a better driver, Christian or Ashton?
Poor Mia... she only saw about 1/4 of the track she has he eyes shut that much going up lol 😂
You need to bring the fj and black truck next time
Great video again. I wish I could do what you guys are doing but I will never ever afford all the equipment that you have. Take care.
Super curious. Camera crew, what they rocking around in? Or are they pilled into the backseats of the rigs?
Cant believe the isuzu s didnt break cvs.
I have to the start of billy goat's in a ses 4wd backing up HELMED getting a motorbike rider off billy goat's so i know that area very well
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job patriot crew and the young men did a great job. I wish they had girlfriends in there with them. That would be hilarious. You guys rock literally lol peace
Are you guys going to hit the cape any time soon
It’s on the cards!
Are you carrying porta pottis? If so where in the campers do you store them?
Front storage box is made to fit almost all porta potties 👍
Do you have to come back down the same track or is there a different one
my old man towed a 16 foot bush tracker up billy goat 10 years ago wasn’t a fun time would I do it no fkn way
i cant believe the dargo didn't cook yas up a feed it would have emptied the fridges with all the crew and your family and the exposure 0n line
😊😊😊😊
Mia doesn’t like the button man?
U should hit five rocks
Over the doof doof. I like a variety of music, but that just gets waaaay too much.
Why get a RAM when you can get a real 4x4 that does 4x4 stuff
