My car suddenly lost power now it won’t start… do I just need to replace the auxiliary pump like he did in the video? Thank you man… not having a working car sucks
This video was very helpful I’m ordering one today off Amazon they tired charging me bout 300$ for one and it’s the same one brand new on Amazon for 59$ .. my car then cut off twice and all the research say it’s the fuel pump .. I really hope this the reason .. thanks for the video I know how to change it now and don’t have to pay someone 500$ plus to fix it ! 😂
@Big Pete mines didn’t start yesterday for the first time. A couple weeks ago I had to put it in “on” and let the pump prime then start to get it going. Yesterday I didn’t hear the pump prime so assuming it’s my primary. Good looks on the vid. It’s up when my part get here ‼️
Great vid man! I replaced my primary last year and was lazy and didn’t replace the other. Just got a P0463 and hoping it’s the secondary one that’s triggering it. I’m replacing it tomorrow since I got the part when I ordered the other fuel pump. Thanks for the refresher and keep up the good work man 👍
A little late with the reply but that indeed was the issue and no longer receiving that code after about 5k miles of driving. Again thanks for the video and keep the coming.

What or how did you know which side to replace? I haven’t had that problem but if I did I would replace both unless there is a way to determine which to replace.
You should be able to hear the primary come on if you can then it’s still good but if you try to start the vehicle and it start stuttering like it’s getting a little gas at a time then it’s your secondary because you already determined that it wasn’t the primary and the secondary provides fuel to the primary
