- This was such a fun trip in Seward, Alaska! We took a helicopter to Bear Glacier Lagoon where we boarded a kayak and paddled through icebergs to get a closer look at Bear Glacier. The glacier started calving which was so fun to see! On the way back we got to see harbor seals hanging out on the icebergs and swimming on both sides of our boat.

I took this exact tour august 2022. Thanks for sharing. You guys got way more sunshine and seal viewing than I did, but this tour was my most favorite experience in the 8 days I was in Seward.

We have had our canoe 43 years and still use it. Little warm in Az to canoe when it’s consistently in the 100’s😹

I didn’t and didn’t really have an issue. The helicopter ride was short and smooth

Look up “Adventure 60 North.” They have many tours. I believe this one is the Bear Glacier Heli/Kayak Half Day tour.
