Just came across this. Thank you for all the effort it's amazing. Been reading Terry Pratchett for over 20 years and his stories still make me smile and rethink my life.
I will do unspeakable things for a Discworld movie series or TV show
Hey, doing justice to it. Like it. 👍. Gonna sit down n watch this. Good game chaps.
Mort is quite good at acting.
2:31 Couldn't understand this at the end. What's he say?
It's very good . This is a Uni project ? Not that I am anyway qualified to say but you have done an excellent job I think .
Hi! Thank you so much! Yes, it was my final year project at uni last year :)
Why did you choose Mort ? I am just curious .
Well I knew I was gonna do something from Discworld since I've been a huge fan of Sir Terry's work like forever. And I was a set design student at the time so I decided to challenge myself with black and white aesthetics of Death's world who's definitelly one of my favorite characters. And then I thought it would be very cool to do Cutwell's house too cuz it just so different.
I actually did a bunch of other things for this project, you are very welcome to check out my web-site: www.evgeniakalyabina.com/copy-of-terry-pratchett-s-mort-1
I love your site . Very talented . I watched Last Season , I was amazed how good it was . It reminded me when I was around that age . Except we were four geeky losers trying to come to terms with life , work and the fact we couldn't of scored in a brothel lol . I honestly hope you have every success . If you get the chance , try more work with Sir Terry's books . I have been reading The Discworld books since 1989 and and a fare bit of his other stuff . He is just the best ! Good luck .
@@JannyKey007 Aww, tried to view your site and it said 'Not Found.' I love this rendition though!
this is gooodd :')
Could watch this on Space
Mage is the best! :D
The fella playing Cutwell is badly cast, his diction is terrible.
Yeah honestly it was a problem finding Cutwell, this guy saved the day by jumping in on the project last minute tbh, so even though ideally I would have spent much more time finding the right guy for the role, you just have to work with what you've got you know. Also also this work was unpaid (well pizza and sandwiches for lunch only) and the rest of the cast were actual STP fans so that was a passion project for them too (i don't quite remember but i don't think Cutwell knew the original material), so in conclusion, don't judge him too harshly, he really tried 😉
@@JannyKey007 AND, it's just an accent. I think of Cutwell as the kind of guy who mumbles, too. (Besides using bacon as a bookmark)
