Compliments of the standard of your review, Unum. You've done the work for those of us in search of a good little microphone. On the basis of your research I've ordered one. Thank you.
They do look very similar. I looked at the specs on the 7rhms m1 official website. The only real difference I can see between the two is the Comica has a super cardioid polar pattern which is neither good nor bad....just different. I was not able to find out if the 7rhms m1 has a bit depth of 24 bit. It would be the only deal breaker for me if it was 16 bit and not 14 bit. Thanks for the comment. I have never heard of this microphone before and glad I know now.
@@BarrettSilva thanks for the support. I will make sure to check your channel out and sub as well. Let me know if you have any questions on anything. I am always happy to help.
It's a great cheap option if you want to up your audio game on your phone. I used this microphone a lot outside of making this video. I find it works especially well in outside environments that have quite a bit of noise in the background. I would actually choose this microphone over a more expensive and popular wireless lavalier mic if I'm planning to make a video arms length away from me in a crowded environment. The reason for this is it's just so much better at background noise rejection. Thanks for the comment. Let me know if you have any questions.
Are you trying to use it with the camera or just a recording app? Some phone's native camera apps do not recognize external microphones. I would use the Shure motiv app. It is free, the camera quality is still very decent, and the most important thing is it captures audio at a way better bit depth / sample rate.
Yeah mine kind of does the same thing. I think it depends on where you're looking at the microphone. If you look at it from the back then it seems like the volume knob is backwards but if you're looking at from the front then it makes sense. I wish they would have just had numbers to indicate the volume.
Dammm this channel does not deserve to only have 58 subs. Great quality great content earned my sub fellow creator
Thanks! I am happy you like the content I'm putting out. Let me know if you have any questions. I am always happy to help.

Thank you! I am glad I could help. Let me know if you have any questions on the microphone itself and I will be happy to help.
thanks for the great review, helped me decide to buy a 7ryms m1 (i think it is the same mic as this, different brand but sold by comica? not sure why)

Thanks as well
I could tell a huge difference of the Comica over your phone microphone in your bathroom.

@@unumludum Thanks. I've ordered this one and 3 others from Amazon (Deity D4, Boya MM1 and the Movo VXR 10 Pro) to do a comparison.
my samsung a13 doesn't seem to want to use it with the usb-c connect. yes it's on digital. oh well. and yes checked audio gain.

Is your gain dial backwards? Have the same device, but it appears that turning the gain knob toward the "+" ends up lowering the volume.
