In “Ink Master: Redemption,” human canvases from previous “Ink Master” seasons, who left unhappy with their tattoos, return to the shop for a chance at new ink. Each episode will feature a different twist, including the risk that your tattoo artist is the same one who gave you the original tattoo.
This man acted confused when she said she didnt feel safe...and then threw a laptop and talked about tossing a couch over in the next minute. That violence was just below the surface the entire time. She called it.

i mean whats the point of getting redemption is the canvas is uncomfortable around you? congrats to Don for wanting to right his wrong, but if somebody is uncomfortable then there really isn't much you can do other than try again in maybe a different way somehow..
He let her walk out with a tattoo he knew wasn’t good and she had to live with it the whole time, that’s his character
I watched all of Ink Master The Rivals season and I'm gonna be honest I didn't like any of Don tattoos that he did on any of his canvas the worst ones were his head tattoo and the pin-up girl that this girl got from him, I recall one of the judges saying the only thing good about the pin-up girl tattoo was the pig and that's not saying much.
Well, when you act like an 🍑 and tattoo like a 5years old, you deserve it. And for the rest, accepting that he’s mad because he screwed up, come on…
i love how he makes faces at her when she's politely declining and throws shit the moment she's out of the room. like she's not obliged to let him stab her with needles? and all the people talking shit about her would be talking shit about her if she'd agreed to the tattoo claiming that she'd done all this to get a free tattoo. I respect her and think she was very honest and very polite.
Misha Z Agreed. I'm finding in many of my travels online that it doesn't matter what a woman does, If it pisses of a guy than she's automatically a bitch, circumstances be damned.
I really felt Don when he got frustrated. Especially when he wanted to prove he could do better.
The thing is she didn't trust him to do another tattoo on him but she also should've said at the beginning she didn't want him to tattoo her. But I think it was more his reaction than his skill that made her change her mind
He was dealing with a much more frustrating canvas, or more to the point, her mother.
Don was one of the worst by far. His drawing he did for her felt so dark and weird, scary almost. I felt her on this one and I usually never side with the canvases
Don wanted to redeem himself on this ; but unfortunately Tara decided to walk out because of the bad tattoo that is now on her the rest of her life as well as the experience being bad . But some of you are right that Don did not have to say those awful things about her . But he manged to get a second chance at it and he successful . Most of these artists get redemption and some won't . It just happens to be a win or lose type of scenario .
She can get another tattoo artist to fix it. She was uncomfortable most likely because his reactions which seemed like he was unsure of his own ability especially with the tattoo he already did

I was in the tattoo shop his first day back from filming this, getting tattooed by the owner, can’t believe that was over 5 years ago.

Don tattooed a pin-up girl on her which was a farmhand pin-up but the only thing that Tara like about her tattoo was a pig that was also in the tattoo.
I would love to be tattooed by Don. I mean he's a good artist.

People are acting like she was malicious for TRYING to give him another chance and backing out. His vibe was wrong. She clearly tried to get past it but couldn't. It is not hard to read his body language. He was weird and tense from the start. He looked like he was angry and desperately trying to hold it in. And then he threw a laptop and talked about flipping a couch. You do not want the guy sticking a needle in you to be the type of guy that is two sentences away from throwing $1000 items on the fucking floor. She read him perfectly. Would you let someone who seems like they can't stand to be around you tattoo you? Ridiculous.

Dam, if she wouldn’t even let the famous Clean Roc One tattoo her, poor Don had 0% chance of redemption from this canvas.
Why come on if you’re not interested to give them another chance. Because don was trying to nice but if she didn’t like him to begin with then she should of walk out at the beginning I’m sick and tried of these canvases coming on just so they can get attention and a free tattoo if they were unhappy with the tattoo to begin with then they shouldn’t of kept it.
Bro, it looks like she tried to get over it, but he was weird and tense and super close to snapping- which she proved he was. She likely was trying to make it work, but dude is unstable and eventually she couldn't take it. You've got to learn to read people better if you think it was a good idea for her to proceed.

Pretty sure she is allowed to say if she is uncomfortable around someone. That isn't attacking his character persay, that is her sharing her feelings about him. She shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable around her tattoo artist.
He kept looking her up and down in this really creepy way and talked about putting a tattoo “in her” - she had no obligation to let him f-k up a second tattoo while his mind was elsewhere. Oh, and he also threw a whole laptop like a damn toddler - that doesn’t bode well for his character.
