In “Ink Master: Redemption,” human canvases from previous “Ink Master” seasons, who left unhappy with their tattoos, return to the shop for a chance at new ink. Each episode will feature a different twist, including the risk that your tattoo artist is the same one who gave you the original tattoo.

I just got a tattoo by this guy (he goes by Mike James now) and we couldn’t figure out where we recognized him from. The experience was…not the best. We finally figured out it was him afterwards. Not the best tattoo, not the best experience, but I’m willing to live with it for the story of how I got a tattoo by mystical Mike 🤣

@Billy Bodyslam Not in this case, she signed up for a free tattoo, understanding that their was a challenge with certain parameters. This was not something she paid for so she is not a customer.

I saw someone comment that they thought he was on the spectrum... I don't know if that's an excuse or if that's potentially true and why? I'm genuinely curious about that observation.
I don't know why that person commented that, but I can see a few symptoms like inability to hold eye contact, lack of emotional regulation, and difficulty reading other's emotions and responding appropriately.

I’m on the spectrum and although I had and still have trouble communicating and reading people and shit, he comes off as wildly arrogant and pretentious. Like he would go off about how good he looks, how he’s smarter and better than everyone, how everyone’s jealous of him cause of his looks or whatever. I also think it can be a maturity thing. Some people either behave this way at first and then learn from it or they don’t

@@ASleepyTanuki it might not be an excuse, but it certainly is a symptom. I have several friends on the spectrum and they have a tenancy to do things like pointing out your flaws in a room full of people. Or saying incredibly hurtful things because they have absolutely no idea what they are saying is hurtful. I had one aquaintance on the spectrum who regularly argued with me about how he knew far more about my own chronic health condition than I do- because his dad is a doctor. He would argue with me that I should try treatments that never worked, or that I shouldn't be on pain medication because that doesn't fix the problem (it fixes the problem of my not being able to walk and function.... Durrr.) Anyway, no it's not an excuse, you would hope that with time that they could learn- but unfortunately, many people on the spectrum are just completely unaware of how the things they say come out and how that affects other people, and that's sort of the definition of being unable to understand social interactions. How can you expect them not to do and say things that are hurtful or that have no tact when they can't understand why NOT to do those things.

I have never seen this guy before, but the fact is, while he didn't handle it well, she's the one being obnoxious and overdramatic. He made a self-effacing joke about being selfish himself - does she accept it and laugh it off? No...she picks a fight over a trivial, general point. She's antagonistic, and then stops everything to be dramatic. The show paints the guy as the problem - and people eat it up....but the fact is, she probably has no friends, is hated by her coworkers, and will not get far in life.
For the short time he was in season 2 he’s really an obnoxious guy I guarantee there’s more than was shown and I’m Willing to wager she was just sick of hearing his shit
