Even tho it scratches at level 6 with deeper grooves at level 7 compared to scratches at level 2 with deeper grooves at level 3 I think, it's more prone to damage since it's always exposed, and you can just change the screen protector on the inner display.
dude, i have my fold 3. too. however my wifi failed me twice. hinge problem broke my wifi module twice. kinda give up on fold phone. no issue on your fold 3?
Hi, as an Apple owner for many years, I am unsure what they are doing with the 16 series so little new features and can see many people returning them and opting for S24 Ultra or choosing a foldable device.
I think should be correct to say that no foldable has an internal slot for the stylus. With Z fold 6 at least it's possible to buy a cover with an external housing for the S-Pen. There are no competitors with something similar.

I would choose the z fold any day of the week. Now, if the s ultra models had everything in it like sd card support, ect, like samsung used to do, that would be a different story. I have a z fold and a moto g stylus 5g 2022 or 23. Motorola offers so much in their mid range phones. I had to get it. They offer micro s.d card support from 1TB to 2TB depending on the model, headphone jack, big display, good battery life, good cameras , stylus features for the built-in stylus plus N.F.C ect... That's everything i need, so if I'm putting down my z fold, it's for my moto g stylus 5g 2022 and up. I know it sounds crazy to some, but i like a phone i can get the most out of, like when LG was still making phones and when samsung used to have every feature imaginable.
Hi, thanks for your comment, I agree there are so many people I know have one or two phones because of features and options that one provides and the other doesn't but that is ok, I would take the Fold with the power and performance paired with my iPhone as I like the iCloud service.
I would like to get another fold again but my z fold 4 the screens suddenly stopped work just after the warranty expired. So I'm not sure if i want to get one because of that. I loved the folds so much though that just made me disappointed.

People who are buying a folding phone are no longer worried about the crease in the middle. It's a folding phone, and no matter what they do, there's always going to be a crease there. The crease isn't going anywhere.

I know that they don't, which then forces people to buy the next level of storage at a higher cost than the SD card, which I think is wrong, yes you can have cloud storage options too, but that is tieing you to a subscription for the term you need that storage were as an SD card is a one of payment.

You have to go with what works for you, plus the other benefit is that you can purchase more data at larger amounts than you can currently fit on an SD Card.
Things we wanna see in Z fold 7. Better Durability and Dust Resistance is a must, S pen silo and outer display s pen support Better battery life and faster charging. Better and usable inner display camera for video calls and stuffs. Slightly, just slightly wider cover display and reduced bezels. These are the bare minimum essentials of a merely flagship phone in 2024.
Agree with all your points and if Samsung just select a few of these, like wide cover display and silo for S pen plus be able to use it on the cover display it would make customers think I want that Z Fold 7.
Shitty camera kills fold in general.. its very good phone for productivity, but not having top notch camara in this price range is a crime... That nonsense of paying for R&D makes no real sense. They are selling same phone for 3 years ( same cameras, same body etc) and still they manage somehow to make it more expensive...
Hi, I agree with your points and why I would opt for the Ultra as they add new features and make sure to add enough to make it worth while to purchase. For the Fold they need to add those key features that would make the price tag ok, but at the moment its not.

What an awesome phone if you love the hardware Samsung offers I had this phone. Well, I still have it my 15-day return window expired. So I just got the pixel 9 Pro fold unlocked and I got to be honest with you. I've been playing with both of them and I do like Samsung's Hardware is more polish than refined. But every time I pick it up, it just makes me miss the cover screen of Google's foldable because it's the same screen as a pixel 9. Yes Samsung added 1 mm, but it's still not enough and Samsung's design language has gotten boring and their cameras are just being recycled and they need to implement at least Flagship style cameras, because that 50 megapixel sensor is just getting old even Google's camera is not big on the pixels, but an occasions it takes better photos than the Z fold six.

While many people say foldables are meant to be used open the majority of the time most of us like yourself spend our time outside of home either at work or doing personal stuff and you're going to have the phone closed and will be using the cover display. I just got tired of Samsung's small cupboard display and giving you my daily user testimony. Every time I have used my z fold 6. It just lets me know how much I miss that big covered display.

Hi, I am indeed but when speeding so much money you need to make the best selection. As the S24 Ultra has improvements that I would like to see on the Fold series, this is why I compare them.
I had to return two of them because of a loose power button. I bought them just recently because of a really good deal .. very disappointed that when I went to register my prints on the first one the power button was loose. Its rattling was very obvious. I googled loose power button on fold 6 and found others with the same issue. So I gave it a second go hoping that I'd get one without the issue. Second one arrived and I opened the box and the same thing. Put it right back in the box she returned it. Each time I called the rep offered me $20 to keep the phone.. WOW!! Thank you very much Samsung! It is bad enough my buds pro 3 have very difficult tips to remove. I had to use a razor blade to get the left one off. The right one I was barely able to do with my fingers. I haven't had issues with Samsung like this before. I hope they aren't going down the tubes.

The cameras aren't even that bad if we are being honest.Also, most people aren't buying any folds regardless of brand because of the cameras.
