The ‘red ooze’ is uterine lining and you’re playing a fetus, Mark. Edit: Those aren't bone walls, but membranes separating the different uterus chambers. If this is a sea creature's uterus, which I believe it is, and Mark's playing a fetus that eats its siblings, then it's prolly similar to the structure of a shark uterus that has live birth. Baby sharks in some species continue to develop inside the mother's womb instead of outside in eggs, and the baby sharks are separated into different uterus chambers. They then would swim to different uteruses to eat their siblings while in-utero.

I'm rarely disturbed by ANYTHING anymore after years of being a horror junky and I didn't even realize I had my mouth open to say "no..." at the end of "Swallow the Sea". Best one out of the three. Totally needs to be an expanded concept, that whole thing felt like a playable prologue.
Unreal: With our latest engine and real-time ray tracing, we can basically reproduce reality. Game Devs: It wasn't easy, but we were finally able to produce a filter that makes our games look like they were released in the 90s.
I think nostalgia is more popular than excellent graphics with the majority of gamers. Also, poor graphics lends a special kind of creepy dreadful ambiance to any horror game. It's like being in a lucid dream where everything is recognizable but our human instincts can tell something is off- our conscious mind is the one that is fooled. Isn't that the most dreadful of all? The ambivalent feeling of knowing somethings wrong but not knowing exactly what it is?

Unreal: With our latest engine and real-time ray tracing, we can basically reproduce reality.
Game Devs: It wasn't easy, but we were finally able to produce a filter that makes our games look like they were released in the 90s.
What about Unity
I think nostalgia is more popular than excellent graphics with the majority of gamers. Also, poor graphics lends a special kind of creepy dreadful ambiance to any horror game. It's like being in a lucid dream where everything is recognizable but our human instincts can tell something is off- our conscious mind is the one that is fooled. Isn't that the most dreadful of all? The ambivalent feeling of knowing somethings wrong but not knowing exactly what it is?
Is it bad that I cried at the end of Swallow the sea? Like when the lil orange blob opened it's eyes and made cute lil noises, I was like 'Awww!' and then I saw the crusher thingy and how it stopped right under it, I straight up started crying
