People who believe it's a hair growth clearly aren't listening. The girl who brought it to UA-cam said it's only for HAIR strands. I used it throughout my pregnancy and it retained my hair length by reducing my shedding.
It’s almost like a natural bond treatment, it’s def not for the scalp and most women who i know used it at the scalp had irritation and some had headaches. ❤
Thank you for this clarification. And please don’t attack me everyone but those women in that East African country also have a certain hair type. People like me with 4c hair have a difficult time growing hair past a certain length. That’s not every person, and I’m not trying to bust anyone’s bubble, but they have a finer straighter hair texture in, their country due to their genetic mix. Yes, I know that people with 4c hair can grow long hair because there are plenty of people in Nigeria with 4c hair that can grow hair to their feet. I’m just talking about me as an African-American. I don’t expect to grow hair down to my feet due to my hair type. I’m speaking on my hair type and people with the hair type that I have. I don’t know a whole lot of American women with Type 4 hair, growing their hair down to the middle of their backs. I don’t know many I’m saying. What are some realistic expectations when it comes to hair growth in general?
Correct me if I am wrong. In the videos of the women applying the herbal mix they are not applying on the scalp but rather on the hair. Also as we also see the women are stretching their hair and protective styling. So it’s a combination things contributing to length retention.
It's growing my hair like crazy and very thick where I was loosing my hair. So call dermatologist said I have CCA alopecia..I had test done and everything..well with using the chebe oil from crown naturale...it's growing my hair back and very thick too
Also I had no idea cloves was the problem with the scalp thing thank you. I avoided chebe because of the no scalp thing cuz I’m not doing separate products I like to mix everything together for a three step process lmao: Im going to stop putting cloves in my herbal water for my hair now tho wow ty.
When Chebe powder was first introduced to us, I bought a packet and infused it in oil. Before researching how to use it I applied it directly to my scalp like a dummy. It felt like red ants were on my scalp and had to wash it out the next day lol. I eventually tried applying it just to the length of my hair but found it to be too gritty and messy. Powder flakes were coming out everywhere. I see why the women in the videos are applying it outside lol. I also notice that you never see the Chad women cleansing their hair. They only just use their Chebe mixture. I still don't truly know exactly what all they're mixing together. It clearly works well for them and it is big part of their culture. But for most black women in other parts of following their exact haircare practice using the Chebe concoction wouldn't be feasible to keep up with in our day to day lifestyle.
More please!!! Can you discuss rosemary oil in one of your next shorts... or how covid, for some, can impact the follicles of the scalp and the loss of hair during the shedding phase. Thank you! Great content!
Also, birth control pills 💊 over time can cause deficiency's that cause your hair to fall out. The long-term use of birth control pills can cause ulcerative colitis as well.
My hair started to grow. After living in my hair for 5 days. I washed my hair. My hair got damaged, and tangle until now. I have lost a lot of hair. Some part of it are still tangle and breaking. I am feeling very sad? And disappointed
I think length retention is most people's issue, so that's good news..
You're right! Thanks for watching

That's right. There are other women from Chad who do not have this length who don't use the styling method or chebe powder

You're absolutely correct! Any changes with your hormones can and will cause hair loss! Thanks for sharing!
“Yes a product that will keep your hair in the hair growth cycle” any suggestions?
Yeah i figured it was common sense, since you don’t put it on your scalp. But maybe they mean “length retention” and don’t know the word lmaooo
