I had 3 buns chicken, lamb and pork from bun house in Chinatown yesterday and they were really nice. Definitely got to check some of the places you recommended out.
Honestly, that's the most fun I've had on You Tube! Thanks.
haha, thank you so much Ron! :D :D
I’m going London this weekend for drag world and heading to Leicester Square, soho and Chinatown afterwards I’m really excited to get some great food in Chinatown thank you

Thanks so much James, keep up the great work!
Hey there, I know the food in Chinatown London is great. I have been there. But even better chinese food you get in Berlin around the Kantstrasse ( the so called chinatown of Berlin). Here you good authentic vietnamese, taiwanese, thai and japanese as well. You should have a try there too!:)
Hi Nick. Oh you've sold it to me - I would love to check out the Kantstrasse some day! Thank you for the tip. I have never been to Berlin but one day when I do, I'll be sure to 😊😊😊
Love that many food around
Beautiful Indeed you are showing us the beautiful world of God 🙏💝😻
That was brilliant! Love Opium cocktails :)
Ohh thank you so much Hem! This is the first presenting style type of video I've done - I quite enjoyed it and I'm glad you did too! Yes Opium is very cool, although that fireball that comes off at the size at the end went right onto my phone 😅
Well, for a first I really enjoyed it! Looked like loads of fun. Can't wait for more :)
This makes me miss London so much 😭 take me back pls

Ahh thank you! Are you based in London? Maybe you could try it next time you're hungry :)
Love Chinatown! So cool! *new sub*
Isn't it so cool, and sooooooo tasty..!
Got to say china town is the only place that will drag me away from my beloved Devon, great vid, cheers maid,xx.
That is so cool to hear Dom! Chinatown sure is awesome P.S. I am still yet to visit Devon!! 🙈

3:28 THOUGHT THAT WAS ANSEL ELGORT FOR A MILLISECOND
ahhaha you are so right, he did look a bit like him didn't he! He's moonlighting as a waiter LOL
Cool Video:) like the idea of this video and you did a great job!
That's very kind of you to say Philipp, thank you!
One time I was with my little cosion and his mom and we went to ichibun Columbus ohio........ But the next day me and my little cosion(not his mom tho) got a stomach virus.......I think bc me and my little cosion ate the shrimp I couldn't even spend the day at church without getting pain...............
Your appetite is amazing:D
ahh this is such a compliment - thank you so much! 🤣🤣🤣
Hey! Great vid! Just wanted to point out so that you know for the future - 'char siu' is pronounced kinda like 'chaah shoo'
Chaah is like 'blah'
And shoo has the faintest slide towards the r sound towards the end. Almost like 'sure'
Xxx
ahh that's very useful, thank you so much! I'm always pronouncing things wrong.. 😅
Hungs has been shut for over a year now and it’s looking like it’s permanent 😞
Used to love hitting there after drinks with my friends at the weekend
urgh that is very sad - I noticed it was shut the other week too :(
Only one reason I ever go to Chinatown, and that's to get the "Spicy Chili Ribs" at "London Chinatown Restaurant" on the west end of Gerrard... Their spring rolls are also the best I've ever had... Cheers !
Thanks for this recommendation Steven, will have to check it out! 😊
You're so lucky to be close enough to go to Chinatown when you want... A slight warning, I haven't been to Chinatown since 2008, so I can't guarantee anything, especially since restaurants in England seem to change frequently. I live in Southern California, US, and did all my travel to The UK for my work, and I retired in 2010. Cheers !!! @@LeylaKazim
Excellent super nice 👍👍👍
Excellent video.. 😍 you've got a new subscriber.. :)
WAHOO!!! Thank you so much, that's really appreciated 😊
Good time
GURLLL IT'S UNFAIR I WAS AT CHINA TOWN BUT I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO THERE AND NOW I LOVE THE CHINESE AND JAPANESE CULTURE AND I WANNA DO SO MANY THINGS THERE BUT I CAN'T FLY THERE
ahh I'm sorry to hear that! Do you have a Chinatown near where you live? I hope you get to visit the London Chinatown one day soon, when we can all travel again!
Hey, awesome Video!
Can you maybe make a video, where you explain your video-equipment?
I would be really interested in it, because you make so nice videoshots! :)
Hi Felix, thank you so much! This was just shot on a little Canon point and shoot, nothing fancy :) :)
Awesome!
Hi thanks for posting the video. Please let us know the name and location of the noodle shop that supply noodles in Chinatown restaurants. I always cook food with noodles and it would be nice if the noodles is fresh.
Hi Ana! It's called Lo's Noodle Factory, but I noticed an article this week that said it's closing and moving to Canning Town: london.eater.com/2019/11/26/20981906/los-noodle-factory-chinatown-closing-shaftesbury Hope that helps!
Do you think I could get tteokbokki there?
Yeah I reckon so! Just go to any Korean restaurant in London and you'll probably find it on the menu :)
It's really amazing dear... ❤❤❤... And yummy food🍴🍕🍔🍴🍕🍔 wow I love eating 😁😁😁
Aww thank you so much Juhi, I'm glad you like it! 😁
The Cutlery Chronicles my pleasure dear.. But I really like it 😇😇

Hi Karina, you're welcome! No we didn't - I still need to go there 😅
J aime beaucoup ce quartier !
moi aussi! 😁
yummy food :)
So glad you think so Savira - thank you!
how did u have the room for it all loooll was it shot over 3 days or summin😂😂
hahaha 😅 No, it was genuinely shot in one day! We did a lot of walking in between so I guess that helped create room for the next bite 😁
Just saw the video now. Hungs is closed, hotpot is closed down...such a shame
Gosh you are right, that is such a shame indeed.
this girl 😍
awwww thank you! 😊😊😊
Take me to Chinatown :-D
Haha yes! And take me back to Chinatown! 😁😁
Yes be in London China town June 2025. Think duck but your hot pot may entice me
Hey, just came across your channel and subscribed!I am sitting at my desk, drooling! haha this was awesome, and you did a great job with the edit! Looking forward to check out more! My husband and I make similar vlogs, check em out and subscribe if you want!
Decent video, though video production could easily have been better with just dropping the volume of the sound a tad bit. It's obnoxious having it so loud

aww thanks so much! 😊
Are you replacing Jenny the previous anchor. Sussing you out.
So hungry
LOLS tell me about it. Me too. Always..
Do u mean I get late night food in Chinatown in London???
Absolutely 😁 Check out the blog post for more information too 😋
@rmodel7 😊
Can you check out the intro I made you? Also I subscribed.
Is me
It’s bakery not baked goods. We are not American.
To be honest I am not really here for the food😏😏😏 but the host 👌👌
hahaha ooooh thank you so much!! :D
ping pong
You didn't even explain half of the stuff you were eating...
Hi Samiyah, that's what the accompanying blog post is for, which goes into more detail about each stop and what we ate: www.thecutlerychronicles.com/2018/04/24-hours-eating-in-chinatown-london/ It's not possible to include all that info in the video or it would be too long and no one would watch it 😅 Hope that helps!
The Cutlery Chronicles ah I see. btw I would totally watch a long video about food XD maybe do more in depth reviews about just one restuarant? Just an idea :P going to get some congee now
Haha noted Samiyah, thank you for that feedback - really appreciate it! I will definitely consider it for future videos. Enjoy your congee 🤤
2:40 Pandan
This video was watched by the my school in English class. This scene, "Pandan!" became the most popular review around my class. And almost students say "Pandan"now. lol
haha this is so totally cool! Thank you for letting me know :) What country are you teaching English in?
Good sister
I haven't eaten congee in ages, I'll try Hung's, thanks for the recommendation. Need some century egg in my life.
haha I hear you Stephen! I actually revisited Hung's a couple of weeks ago for a 2am congee fix after a night out - it really hit the spot :D
@@LeylaKazim I can understand why people are put off by century egg though, it looks like something out of Alien. Weirdly, doesn't taste offensive though.
@@LeylaKazim It was good! Thanks for the recommendation. I'd go back. £7.70 for a pretty large bowl.
love from China.....In China, many young people, people in love, like to go to such places.. It always looks very prosperous, lively and full of life, in Changsha, Chengdu, Shanghai and Hong Kong....chinese love the food and atmosphere... If there were more Chinese here, it would be more lively and energetic.
Diversity hire? The Beeb loathes English nationals ?
Reliable food recommendations crucial.
Wow a great review... but where did u get them fresh noodles from? What's their address? I'd like to go there when I visit next....
Hi Sin Vee, sorry for the delay! It's called Lo's Noodle Factory 6 Dansey Pl, London W1D 6EZ - hope that helps!
@@LeylaKazim Oh great thx ☺ I will definitely try that next time
Wow, I'm glad you, as a non-chinese, found congee appetising. From what I heard, it is a weird thing to Westerners.
I absolutely love congee!! Always have. And my Chinese Mauritian uncle makes a great version too 😋 This ones at Hungs is really excellent. Glad you enjoyed the video - thank you!!
Erm, no, congee is awesome. It is just a savoury 'rice pudding'. Comfort food....
Wowww!!! This is amazing... Seems you really had fun.. 😊
oh yeh we really did have lots of fun, and a LOT of food 😂
Any food you recommend in CHINA TOWN THAT HAS NO EGG
I think if you go into any of the restaurants and ask for the dishes that don't contain egg, that should work
I need go to there
Oh yes you do Cristina - you'd eat really well! ❤️
Please balance your audio
good insight, i know hungs and didnt know it opened so early, also where did u get the shun from?
Oh yeah Hung's is great late night or early. What's a 'shun'?
how many caucasians date chinese in london?
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that! :)
@@LeylaKazimdo you have a percentage if not the exact number?
Haha, no Jarrod. That's not something I would know! You might have to contact the Office of National Statistics or something? I have no idea where you could find that information, but it would probably be a government organisation.
Nice video! :-)
Thanks so much Riccardo, glad you like it!
Great video! What is the name and adress of the hidden gem? Thanks
Thank you so much! It's called Lo's Noodle Factory 6 Dansey Pl, London W1D 6EZ - hope that helps!
Awesome just loved your videos fabulous ✌🏼
Aww, thanks so much Happy Steps! So pleased you like it :)
The Cutlery Chronicles yes you are extremely talented and continue blogging. You bring life in your blogs and have that magnetism to attract the attention of viewers.
