    The language belongs to your people, speak your sacred language and your people will listen. If they do not understand now, forgive them and they will hear until it calls them close enough to home that they can then listen.

    Would love to learn my ancestors language. Both of them. I come from Mohawk and Cheyenne ancestors.

    Kid's are very fast Learners and everyday they are learning so if you speak to kid's in your own language everyday they will catch on faster than you think 😊😊😊😊

    My 2 Kuia (Grandmother) were also right there at the creation of Kohanga Reo I miss them so so much but I know they are Watching over our Whaanau (family)❤

    Oh brother it's more like Maori people 😆
    We identify as our particular tribes though
    The term Maori was a name used by the British who colonized the indigenous people of New Zealand
    Like me myself I identify as TUHOE as that is my tribe
