  • A nice little Lark in the Morning style jig on an old flat set of UIlleann Pipes pitched in C. Chanter is by modern maker Martin Gallen. I learnt this from the Séamus Ennis recording 'The Return From Fingal'. Robbie Hannan also has an excellent version on his first solo record. English translation as the Fair Haired Child.

Wonderful! How long have you been playing? I just started learning about 3 months ago, I have a practice set made by Bruce Childress of Maine, I loved being able to basically create the set with whatever materials I wanted, which truly makes uilleann pipes a very personal instrument.
