Hello! I hope you had a joyful day. I just got to sit down with my hand quilting and watch your video. I always learn something new from you so thank you very much for that. I hope you have a lovely week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and sharing your time and talent.
So Glad to hear that Rosemary! Depending on how small the children are you can always make the bib larger and extend the apron portion down to make it longer. Happy Sewing!
That's wonderful!! You are welcome to share it with me in my email that you can find in my contact me section. Or share it via DM through instagram? @tamarasjoy
Love this apron. When you placed the ties on the bib panel, I could see that the flat part was up and so the pointed side was down but you didn't show if the pointed edge was facing inside or outside. A quick shot of a whole piece would be great. Thanks.
It's a bit late but I use a large metal straw (smoothie or boba) and a thin long metal straw. Put the large straw inside the fabric tube and use the long straw to push the fabric through the one inside the tube and pull the fabric through!
Hi Meg, You can adjust the bib size so it is a bit larger and make the apron a few inches longer. I think the ties would still be good and the width of the apron should be good too. I have been considering redoing this pattern to have that extra size. I just need to find the time 😅 I do think it should be good for a three year old but I must admit my boys are in their teens now so I am having a hard time remembering their size when they were 3!
@@TamarasJoyDIY Thank you. I am using your size pattern as if it is too big, she can wear it for a while. She is tall but slender. I love your work. You are a class act! I am excited to continue to learn more from you.
My 7 y o grandson like to cook. He want one but not with the all the girly trim. I will try and adapt this pattern for him. Patricia-South Padre Island, Texas
I would say a toddler to age 5. I would extend the top piece 2” in length and then add another 2” to the bottom of the apron portion if you want it for a taller child. You wouldn’t need to extend the decorative apron piece that lays on top. Hope that helps! Happy sewing!!!

Id love to make this for an adult.
I love this pattern but I want to make it for a 3 year old. What adjustments would you make? Thank you.
Or would this pattern be fine for a 2 1/2 year (3T) old? Thanks
