Four years of high school Russian and 4 semesters of college Russian and this guy is the best teacher. His pronunciation is so clear and teaching so perfect yet simple. If you are seriously studying Russian this man is your best teacher.
Fedor, I think your lessons are so effective because you don't elevate yourself above the student with the status of "teacher" or "professor". You speak to the beginner on the same level - maybe because you learned English at an older age. It's like you're saying "I'm with you guys, I've been through this, I know how hard it is, let's make it as simple as possible".
OK - after looking at loads of truly awful Russian language videos I have finally found you - you are now my teacher. You almost make it seem possible!!!
And here is another one agreeing with Nomad Architecture. I have watched many videos in the past but yours, for some way, are very efficient! Hopefully one day Iwill speak this language :)
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of your native language, Fedor, it's truly a real blessing, bro. Many thanks from a Samoan learning Russian. Я люблю Россию.
6:09 - 6:14 was so wholesome, and I did not know I was going to get that from this video. I just needed to hear that today its been a rough one. thank you.
Oh my gosh, SO helpful! I am using an app to learn Russian and it is helpful for learning a lot of vocabulary but I have been lost on all of the stuff this video explained so perfectly (as in why is "она" used sometimes and other times you have to say "Её")... now it makes perfect sense! Спасибо!
You are best russian teacher i've ever found on UA-cam. You classes are very clear, very well paced and very simple. A true master. Thank you very much.
I just found your UA-cam channel. it is just amazing sir. I have been in Russia for 4 months learning Russian language here but I have a hard time understanding lectures because my teacher does know English she explains in Russian language which I don't understand. but now I think i am going to get it by watching your videos . thanks for uploading such useful lessons i hop that you keep uploading such amazing lessons god bless you sir
You do a great job! I have been studying Russian for two years! Learned the alphabet first. Then started learning through random music videos with subtitles. These videos help enhance my skills on learning.Spaciba!
Thank you for these awesome videos man! After two semesters of college Russian five days a week, I'm learning conversations so much easier on your channel! Keep it up!!
здравствуйте, Меня зовут хади,как дела ? я люблю русский язык и оно хорошо I am using your channel and other sites like russianmadeeasy , russianforfree and difeerent channels every place is helpful and gives you what you need and am now learning everyday something new but the most confusing is you are allowed to change the subjects and the verb in present has 6 writings and etc.... but i like it
you are amazing man I was try to learn Russian 3 years ago but this is my first time I can understand so good you have so nice ability for teaching please continue and accept all my regards
Bro i really love you so much man. you are really inspirational and give me so much motivation to learn Russian. You make it so simple. I just admire you dude. You are the best teacher in Russian and should be honored for that broth ).
I find this video really useful. In my lessons, I am exactly at this topic. And Finally, someone who is telling me the difference between ты and вы. Which one is the singular (ты) and which is the plural/formal (вы). You break down the topic in Russian language learning and I am finding it a lot more fun and easy to understand.
This helped me IDK if this will for you but if a word has an abrupt and hard stop ending then it's masculine, if it has a ending that sounds lighter and more drawn out in comparison then it's feminine. (by that I mean for example телефо>Н< it has a abrupt ending and couldn't really be dragged out such as the word мамА) Kinda abstract but that helped me. That's just how I learned it.
Hi Fedor , i wanted to learn Russian since i was little and your videos are really helpful. When i'm on vacation i always go to the seaside and there are alot of russians there and i try talking to them. I am Bulgarian and our languages are similar so that helps too i guess. Keep on making videos like this.
tnx a lot for these classes they really help they really do , I'm one of the most Russian language lover xD watching those videos help me a lot so keep publish them it's useful
Privyet! Thank you too... Actually I am dating a Russian guy at the moment and i really want to learn more of Russian culture and language. He was really happy about it and he was surprised lastnight when i tried to communicate with him in Russian language.
I really like this video, but I think that you should have said that in the phrase "я хочу машину" the feminine noun машина changes to -у because of the accusative.
I was suggesting maybe to start marking the lesson for example lesson 1 - greetings. That would be much easier to learn the topic and it would be a really good concept
I'm a spanish native speaker and I think the easier way to learn russian is through english. Spanish is super complicated even for native speakers. Saludos, Fedor!
Thanks for your excellent lessons. I have a question. In English, using "I want" may sound rude. "I would like" should be used instead. Is it okay to use "I want" in Russian? Should we use it only among friends and acquaintances?
Привет Фёдор! Kak дела? I know this is an old video and I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I was just wondering why его is pronounced more like ево. Спасибо !
Probably, it's from old-russian language. Earlier, at those times, people pronounced in russian -его. Now, in modern russian speech, it's became in -ево, but the writing was not changed.
Nicolas Day do not ask “kak dela” in russian unless you really want to know the answer. It is even more important when you write a comment below youtube video:) I, as russian native speaker, am confused, why you ask “kak dela” in comment and i have (and other slavs would) a wiling to answer but it would not be usual to actually answer in a comments to unknown person such a personal information)
That's a fun lesson, I have a question, what about if you don't want or love something/someone. Do you say, "Ya nie Hochu- or Ya nie Lyublyu- or is it more complicated?
First of all I want to thank you because I've been watching some of your videos which are really amazing and useful. I just want to ask you, what happen with "it" for instance, я люблю "it". I'll appreciate your answer.
Practice -- 1. Я хочу грибы для рагу. (I want mushrooms for the stew.) 2. Я хочу дуэль с ним (?). (I want to duel with him.) 3. Я люблю себя. (I love myself.) 4. Я люблю играть Роблокс. (I love to play Roblox.) 5. Я люблю кнопку. (I love the button.) (couldn't think of any other female nouns)
If I understand correctly, you put "y" at the end of a feminin word because of the accusative, whereas if it's masculine it doesn't change unless the object is animated (then it would be "a" or "я" as in the genitive case )?
Four years of high school Russian and 4 semesters of college Russian and this guy is the best teacher. His pronunciation is so clear and teaching so perfect yet simple. If you are seriously studying Russian this man is your best teacher.
Thx for the advice man!
Not to mention he is a perfect looking male, as well...

If you combine Fedor and some good Russian course with exercises you can literally learn this language in three months (At least A2)

nice video, just a question, how if the noun is neutral? do we change the noun?
In Accusative case I think no. It works like a masculine word.
6:36 same bro
Lol XD
Thanks for your excellent lessons. I have a question. In English, using "I want" may sound rude. "I would like" should be used instead. Is it okay to use "I want" in Russian? Should we use it only among friends and acquaintances?
yes it is okay! We don't tend to be overly polite. We're more straight to the point:)
That was helpful thank you.
Came to this video after the curse words lesson expecting to learn some cheesy pick up lines, ended up learning useful things.
Rofl :D

Весьма интересно. Спасибо.

I know many languages; english, bengali, hindi, urdu, sanskrit, arabic, maori, french, spanish and next is russian.

very good
u r great
First of all I want to thank you because I've been watching some of your videos which are really amazing and useful. I just want to ask you, what happen with "it" for instance, я люблю "it". I'll appreciate your answer.
Can you show some tips on how to pronounce P more easily for english speaking person?
спасибо большое
Крутяк!! Спасибо большое !!
Practice --
1. Я хочу грибы для рагу. (I want mushrooms for the stew.)
2. Я хочу дуэль с ним (?). (I want to duel with him.)
3. Я люблю себя. (I love myself.)
4. Я люблю играть Роблокс. (I love to play Roblox.)
Really good, just a question, when should I use ему/его, ей/её?
