    I love your videos you are such a good rider and extremely helpful and informative! I remember finding your channel when I first started doing sitting canter (or in my case: bouncing up and down obnoxious canter) your tips were really helpful and now I’m able to do a controlled and smooth sitting canter!❤ Thank you for your help!❤

    When you have your horse as foal, it's very easy: you tie him up while you groom his mom, so they learn all very young. Even trailerloading as foal. Meeting young horses you see if this horse had human contact or not. Groundwork and working at the hand is very important.😍

    You are going for it! Loved your last video trailer tour, it is great and such a clean one. I would probably not carry generator fuel in the trailer at rear. If you got rear-ended, it would be a disaster. Maybe secure in front of trailer or truck bed? I really love your truck. Yeah, diesel fuel is more expensive but a diesel truck has more torque and is more powerful when hau!ing horses. You bought a great rig! You won't ever regret having such a powerful truck. Think Rocky Mountains.....best wishes as you prepare to leave. So much planning!

    Don't know if it helps you as I've only seen it with horses already trained to like tie. But I've seen people use bungee instead of rope. No knot needed and they can stretch down to graze without the rope brim by to loose that they would get their legs over it. Just a thought to play with I'm sure there are pros and cons. pretty sure you can get quick release ones.

      Potentially next summer when he will be 3; it just depends where I think he is at growing-wise. He is still very awkward and clumsy

      Doing a horse behaviorist course I've learned that backing up by waving a rope, especially in this kind of halter s not very nice for a horse and doesn't go well with horses biomechanics. While backing up with the head down is much better for horses back. I don't write it to play the expert cause I'm not close to being one, just thought you might want to hear this voice in case you haven't heard about that yet ❤ Hope you have a beautiful journey!😊

    I don’t see how this is a good life for a horse specifically a foal like spen the whole night tied up? What

    • @CarmellaAbel
      @CarmellaAbel  4 місяці тому

      They will never spend the whole night tied up; on the high line you can let the tie slide along the rope. This enables them to move around and graze. Just for the sake of training, he needs to learn how to stand stationary on the rope before being allowed to move along it
