ProVia tells us they source their sheet glass from a few different suppliers, so they are unable to give us a specific source. They do insulate all IG (insulated glass) units in-house at ProVia, though, meaning they put the Argon and Krypton gases between the panes themselves.

The Alside Mezzo window is a nice window. My issues with Alside are more professional based than product based but, as a Window Depot Dealer, Alside is one of our preferred vendors. What I tend to look at in a window manufacturer are 1) Diversity of products so I can offer customers more options; 2) Warranty on the glass; 3) Customer Service. Professionally, my customer service experience with ProVia dwarfs Alside and other manufacturers by A LOT. I have also had great customer service from Interstate Window, but I don't want to get off on a tangent.
The Climatex Prime glass package is a triple pane product so, if you are in the NorthEast, this is a great option. And a U value of 0.19 is also great. Just know that these, as with most triple pane windows, appear to be a bit darker, hence the low U Value. The SHGC is 0.21 but that is typical of a super energy efficient window. Also, be careful of the U Values you get from a brochure. Make sure you get U Values for the windows you are actually buying.
      Hope this helps!
