To be honest, my life hasn’t changed a whole lot. My husband and I live in a tiny cabin on the waters of the PNW. We have been self isolating for nearly 6 years just trying to be better human beings. Meditation, yoga and a healthy diet of whole foods gives us the energy to keep trying to be the best humans we can be. Kinda like what you said about adventure knocking on your door, we believe we are preparing for when opportunity arises. You guys rock. Thanks for sharing your lives. ✌🏼
Hey! I work in end of life care in a hospice so as you can imagine during this pandemic I have been super busy all the time and a little bit envious( not a good look!) Of all the people who have managed to get some time to slow down. I have an end goal, work while my son is at school and then save as much as possible because as a family my sisters and brothers want to buy some land and try to become self sufficient. This was always my mammys dream, unfortunately she passed 12 years ago so now we are all even more adamant that this is what we want to do. You are therefore living our dream! You are right to be thankful, and also right to strive for more, it's a healthy attitude to have. Love watching guys😘 blessings and love from the UK& Ireland🌳🙏🌍🕊

So true! I'm still amazed at how the little amount of time for us has passed by like a speeding train!
It’s been really hard to have the parks and recreation stuff shut down-I miss my old ladies Pilates class and camping. But I’ve been making meals for people who are experiencing life changes (new babies, deaths of loved ones, illness) and also writing letters. Finding that I’m feeling a bigger urgency to nurture the folks around me because of the all the chaos and fears surrounding the pandemic. I’m realizing the slow and steady daily care and nurture of my friends family and life in general is an adventure in & of itself & im much much more appreciative of things (like camping & lake days & picnics at parks) than I was before. I think I was taking those things and even people for granted more than I realized before the virus.

Kudos to you for what your doing for others, its a great reminder to all of us that we can take some of this extra time and volunteer it to help so many others who need help. Not to mention that ability to connect with friends and family virtually more!
Justin & Juby I’m not feeling freaked out or scared by lockdown but a lot of people are and so we need to take care of each other and even just writing someone a letter can offer a little bit of calming peace. I’m so grateful for this resetting of my life in a sense to pay attention and be grateful.

Yessss! Right before 9 min into the video I LOVED the real-heartfelt chat about how we are all dealing with Covid and pandemic/isolation. Our family is living moment-to-moment in gratitude mean while amping up our gardening, produce, canning and preserving from our land. We keep talking about what's next too. We're in our mid 40s but we've decided if we do one project at a time we'll feel a sense of accomplishment and covid won't creep into our conversation as much as it did in the beginning. So far we've prepared our garden for new veg, reinsulated the house and next it'll be decluttering. Throughout this process we've made sure our teenage son is part of the convo. He has his own ideas 😂 of course

( not online in-person classes) and a business . the downtime is well needed
I could only imagine, soak up every last second!
My mum had a bleeding on her brain in late April and subsequently surgery on her brain. She is ok now but I wanted to see her (I live 5 hrs away) and spend time with her and also spend time with the rest of my family. It's been very busy but I'm also sooo appreciative of experiencing this time with my loved ones and being in a helper's positions, cooking for my busy sister, my mother, getting her the needed prescriptions and the rest she can't get herself and just be there and keep company, talk together and of course laugh together. I adore my mum, my sisters and my baby nephew and this time made me realise again how important family is - as trite as it sounds.
I went to pickup my mom today had several hours to drive to and from. And I thought of the videos I watched recently.
Yours came to mind. Your life is like an everyday vacation and picnic. Yes, I know you all work hard. But you stop and play beautifully. Sitting by the trail to rest and snack is what life is all about. Stop! And appreciate your loved ones and your surroundings.

Living in the UK it's very difficult and expensive to live in the rural environments that many of us would like to live in because we are a very small country with a booming population. The pandemic has really slowed down and eased a restless mind for me - I can hear birds instead of motorways, sleep with my window open without car fumes and sounds coming through all night. It's also given me some time to plan with friends about how we may find some land between us and to live in a way that we find more fulfilling as opposed to the superficiality of city life.
Also being able to giverify even more time and energy to my veg garden has been wonderful 💜
Life has slowed down so much since the pandemic started. Some of the good things that have come out of that are new ideas that arise out of boredom! If I never got bored from time to time and had my wondering mind daydream...who knows if I'd be as creative as I am. As an artist, I miss the face to face networking and community events like shows, museums, and festivals. However, I'm focusing my mindset on gratitude and abundance and staying connected with loved ones. Gotta stay paw-sitive!

Life isn't a race till the end, it's all about the journey 😊 and yes having goals but enjoying life while working towards our goals. So much is missed if we focus too hard on the end goal and truly, is there really ever an end goal if we're constantly growing as we should be

As for current events, we definitely went through a rough patch while we adjusted (imagine how tough it was for my hubby to deal with a depressed person in 200 SQ ft). We'd just spent two years busting our butts to get the bus build done(ish) and as soon as we moved in the pandemic hit. But there were a ton of positives. We moved out of town just in time and we get to work from home out in the country. I love our fruit and veggie garden and the time I have to sit outside and just be in the beauty of the current moment. We're hoping we can travel soon, though. It's one of the main reasons we moved into our skoolie. We are complete nomads at heart lol

so I do not know if you might read this but.... in maybe march I experieced a very restless and unhappy phase. I just came back from travelling in India for 4 months and then I came back... and was stuck... and I do not like to say stuff like that but I guess u could say that I like to move around... changing my sorroundings, kinda got addicted to that... also my parents moved a lot with me to different contries when I was younger... anyways, this was the first time in ages that I had to sit down with myself and face the restlessness within myself. i guess if I had to describe how I learned to cope with it I would say that I started to slow down in the simplest ways... I took more time to brush my teeth, while eating breakfast I did't watch a show, read or... did anything. I just looked out the window or took my food to a morning walk. I started to face the fact that if we always assume, that we will feel fullfilled by something, anything really, that lies in the future, the unknown, we will never feel "happy" and fullfilled because there is no future or a past...blabla I know but....But we always run, and long, and wish for something..... what I am trying to say is that accepting, apprechiating, taking time, ... I mean there is no rush in anything, there is no point in forcing... and if you feel this fire, this urge for something new, something unknown..... it will unfold itself in new ways, that you might not have thought of...
I am a little sleepy and english is not my mother tongue....hope u get what I mean and good night,

And actually people like you inspired me to be more patient, to take more time for little projects,.... and yeah it is just very cool to see that and how you struggle with restlessness sometimes as well...
Also in the end when you were talking a bit you started to talk about something that I always wanted to ask... because you two are so "free spirited" how does that work out if theres two of u. and u suddenly have like a child, responsibility for the family in that sense... and yeah...if i am allowed to ask: how does that make u both individually feel? How have u also changed... in your mindset but also in general? Dont know but i am just interested...
Ahh your description of restless ness was so good and how you cope is also so helpful to be reminded of. I can't tell you how much we relate to what you said and we should do a better job showing how restless we can be sometimes. It eats at us so hard some days, Juby and I both are the type that have that same drive to switch things up, create a new environment for ourselves, as well as alway feel as if we need something to happen in the future to make us happy but slowing down and appreciating every aspect of the day is so rewarding and freeing. As for the question about being 'free spirited" its been an exploratory and transitionary period since we met and got together and again when we had azalea. We found ways to be "free Spirited' together in a way that would make us both happy for example building and traveling with the bus. Now with Azalea we try and raise her in a way that is open minded and if she wants to do or try something unordinary or out of the box, we support that. In regards to our individuality, we both try and encourage each other to pursue personal interests, like for juby, yoga and biking, for justin fishing and rock climbing for example. Being "free spirited" continues just in a different way than when we were single. Sending love and light your way!

Justin Juby and Zelia asked how we r doing . well i been living in Cali for 10 years and back an forth to Africa past few years. Decided to move to Africa fir good in march as my fiance is from s africa but on my way wasnt allowed on second flight. Was stuck in Chicago for 2 days 2 nites crying and they advised to go to Ireland were i was born. It was in the midst of kind of when everything suddenly got weird! I been stuck in Ireland all this time! My flights to Africa have been cancelled by the airlline like 7 times
I just keep rebooking. Heart sinks everytime i get an email to say its been cancelled again :(

We r missing each other like crazy! Teriible situation. On the upsie my moma mobile home in dongegal has reopened which is country and beach. And now i get some quiet time here alone and great walks and sea air. My flight has been rebooked AGAIN for September 1st please pray for me to the universe that it actually leaves!

I wonder as I do not have the capacity due to illness, to travel, go to restaurants etc. what people think about their lives. Suddenly if that one big vacation is cancelled their whole world begins to crumble as they also cannot comfort themselves with planning due to the virus. Like Eckhart Tolle says if your outer world crumbles your inner can arise! We do not see the suffering of the world where a majority of people can’t do what they wish, illness is one of that reason which you can’t escape. Lets go through it when you can’t escape!
