- wewillroam.com - We left home in November 2019 with the long-held ambition to drive around Australia and the world beyond. In the year that followed, our plans would unravel faster than we could process and we'd find ourselves searching for purpose in a world whose borders had closed and goalposts had all but disappeared into irrelevance.
To synthesise an entire year of emotions into a short film was a challenge we submitted to XOverland's Overlander Film Festival. From the depths of Tasmania to the tip of Cape York, 'Little Victories' maps a long, hard lesson learnt in what it means to travel. It's an attempt to illustrate our experience that the best laid plans are only ever written in sand, that adventure is found in the events we didn't see coming and the the moments that matter are the little victories that come from trying.

Such a wonderful and poetic way to illustrate what we all experienced and felt in loss and uncertainty, the delayed plans, the unknowable. You two have a remarkable gift.

I've only recently come across your channel and am thoroughly enjoying catching up. You two have a lovely dynamic and come across as revelling in the adventure you've taken on. The quiet and positive dialogue is a very pleasant change in a space where so many feel the need to rant and lecture. Your videography and editing are a perfect complement to this feel and even when you visit places that are familiar from other channels or my own experience, there is a sense of seeing the places through new eyes. Absolutely beautiful videos! As soon as I discovered your channel. I had to watch every video right away. Each one drew me in more than the last. The travels, the cinematography, the sound track! The relationship between you two. I’m in awe-with-it-all!
If/when the world gets it’s sh%t together.. and you do get the chance to visit Canada. Please, come to Vancouver Island. I might be a bit biased, but I think my home is the most beautiful part of Canada.. just saying.. hahaha! I would love to show you some of our gem spots on the island.
