Nah but honestly it's making it feel more like a big slider that you don't have to be at the top of to get the "proper" experience like how the Borderlands games set up their endgame difficulties... so I'm actually kind of fine with it? I'll sit around 30 until I get some good enough gear/setups to push higher and won't worry about 50 in the short-term
Maybe if we had more skill points and hero points with it would want more but this is just plain terrible
About chaos 40 would've been good with me
50 is fine for now. I don't mind them adding levels up to 50 but they should have done this later on. It's better then raising level caps at least. Plus they should make it account wide as well as make it so if you clear it fast enough you gain multiple levels instead of just one. It sort of sucks when you wanna play different characters but then u have to get to choas level 50 again.
If they knew they were going to add 15 more levels they should have improved ward and health scaling. 3 days ago I was basically unkillable with my Volatile Body Rune and now I'm back to being one tapped. The higher levels aren't the problem with the higher levels. It's the lack of positive stat increases to the player.
Yeah, I wish they would increase the regular level caps to beyond 40 so we can start getting skill and hero points. I know you can get to level 43 or 44 if you're offline, but when can we all get to level up to that point officially (without having to go offline)?

I know gearbox had all their endgame stuff planned and it's hard to make major changes because work was already being done. But I really wish more communication to the community and showing us they at least want to address our concerns. Chaos should have ended at 20. Any added difficulty after 20 shouldn't be just increasing health/damage values. Mayne tweaking AI, faster reloads, more cover taken, melee units move faster, faster projectiles, bigger mags, evation movements to dodge shots. New enemies. All this could be put in a second playthrougj with adding raidboss health to all bosses and double raid boss health to raidbosses

@@colinking2288 we don't need a second playthrough, that's an old design direction that really doesn't add much, it's overrated because the community can't let go of bl2. The game was well designed when it comes to just one big adventure.
We should, however, have got more content for the chaos chambers.
Exactly! More Enemies as well! Chaos 20 Mayhem 30 should be a cloud of enemies and bullet hell. At that point these stupid nerfs wouldn't be needed and Mini boss enemies spawning at boss fights.

We already got to deal with a lot of weird things from the AI, like dodging things they didn't see/shouldn't
Plus your idea only allows op DPS builds to be used.
Also... The nerfs are mostly fixes and even when they're not we should not mix designed challenge with the balance of the power fantasy. We should feel badass, but like the way you shared, it would get stale really quick and the game would have to lower the specs.
At chaos 50 they should have made it so that all drops are either chaos level or higher, or they should just drop all that garbage and give it chaos levels, like with the mayhem levels of weapons in borderlands, so at max chaos you'd just get chaos level 50 gear
At least that way we'd be able to keep up with the insane stat increases of higher chaos level enemies
1,803% enemy health is absolutely ridiculous. Imagine parasite on C50, his health was bugged and never properly scaled to C35 so at C50 he is gonna be an absolute bullet sponge. If they do not include a lv cap increase with the final mirror then this game is pretty much dead for me. They need to balance shit out immediately.

Except 2 skill points are all it would take to completely obliterate build diversity and level cap increases have literally never been a good thing to a single lands game ever,
Also Parasite has been fixed but to know that you would have to actually read the changenotes and not just mindlessly complain.
For your information we already have an op af class, it's called spellshot, and other than that if you think they need to "balance shit out" I'd be curious to know what you think about balance in previous lands games, because WL's endgame is by far the most balanced to date. The game can get better, but it's already great and doesn't benefit from frustrated players shitting on it just because their fragile ego can't handle not instantly wiping out the highest possible difficulty in the game

@@ephemeral5298 Oh, it's not DLC. It's supposedly Post-Release Content. Gearbox really seems adamant in trying to push boundaries in the completely wrong areas in the completely wrong way.
Tbh, one of my biggest gripe with the chaos levels as a whole (apart from the horrid balancing) is the fact that the lower quality chaos modifiers for the items, so chaotic and volatile, go down as you increase your chaos levels. You have made it to chaos 50 dammit, you should be rewarded by getting stronger loot. But instead, you dont really. If a normal item already becomes less and less useable, you should at least have a higher chance to get chaotics and volatiles as you increase your chaos level, so you can kinda compensate the increased enemy health, and yet the chance gets lower? Who thought that was a good idea? Its not rewarding to go through 50 levels of chaos chamber, constantely getting mollywhopped and pushed around like a pinball, just so you spend hours farming for a item that still has a 50% chance to just be a regular version.
Its why I prefer mayham or op levels at least on the difficulty all the gear tiered to the difficulty. Chaos lvl 35 chaotic tiered gear should be the common drop, shouldn't have normal gear drop at all.
@@maulressurected4405 agreed. even though both have major flaws, you at least get somewhere. Borderlands 2 has slag and moxxi weapons. easy damage and easy healing. both things I was struggling with in wonderlands.
And Borderlands 3 is easy mode to begin with. Also not as balanced as it could have been, cause you can steamroll through everything, but at least it gives you way more viable options.
There is this thing called maths where primo drops increase by more than chaotic and volatile decreases combined, for each level (tip: the numbers are on the loot luck page in the skills tab)

More skill points yeets build diversity, but what they're doing is also destroying build diversity.. so my suggestion when they dropped C35 so early was give another tree per character and then give us more skill points 🤔Fixes the problem but is also a lot of work so I doubt we'll see it ://

50 is a LOT and we havent even hit the end of season 1. Im still at 25 personally but i dont get to play much nowadays
Be cool if they let us choose our currently equipped gear to be auto upgraded to the primiere version of that gear with every chaos increase update so at least we could look forward to grinding for new builds and not duplicates.
I really only get to play on the weekends so when I finally hit chaos lvl 20 I was relieved I only made it a few weeks and then lvl 35 dropped smh so I started towards lvl 35 stopped at lvl 26 and said screw it and went to other games haven’t been back since.
Did they lower the loot luck in myth ranks? I had 5% per point bringing the bonus to +100% loot luck, now it is 1% per point with my bonus being +20%. I did not see this in the patch notes.
Idk but suddenly got all purple except 3 and they were only legendary at chaos 35-36. Was getting at least 6-7 and chaotic and primordial. Today all garbage..

So let's up the chaos levels, but not the player level? Some builds are already a struggle at chaos 35. It's going to get to the point where you'll only be able to survive using 1 of 2 builds, with a very strict loadout

If gearbox decides to add more levels to chaos they should've looked at the player loot scaling as well. What i can't understand is why do these big companies do that, with what it wasn't tested at all before launch.
Thanks, because now I know (unless I decide to xp farm a boat load of myth ranks) I'm not going to bother XD. I personally find these to be seriously lazy DLCs just to keep people coming back for the same crap in a different hat.
Yeah i can't use my melee build now so i essentially quit because i really don't feel like making a spellshot class when i wanted to specifically use the melee mechanic that was pretty new. Only character i was able to use a melee build was krieg and he was amazing but he's not here lol.
My melee build is the only thing I'm using atm bc it hits for stupid dmg, unless are you going the non-livewire route?
@@KodyMcHugh i haven't gotten any luck trying for your build tbh so I've been doing a bit of a variation but it only gets me so far. No one-shot capabilities with it unfortunately.

You can earn more hero points of all kinds from the collectables at least, skill points runs us into the same problem we have with destroying build diversity. If we get more skill points we need another tree

I live at chaos 20
While i get that these things aren't loved by most people and lemme tell ya, /i get it/, i think the complaints about the survivability is silly? First run through chaos chamber on my first character was miserable, and that was when it was only up to 35. I just ran my second character through up to 50 which was a clone of the first except with the better backstory for the build and I died all of once, which was purposeful to reload my ammo because i'd been spamming the gluttony (mixed with the sacrificial skeep and on a graveborn dark magick heavy build is honestly just kindof cracked) on chaos 42.
It's more than capable of being done but like. I'd rather have a whole 5 or 10 more levels - Just barely enough to almost capstone both classes but limit it so you can't - just to really crack out build capabilities. Even though re-farming everything at this point would be an absolute draaaaaaag.
At this point i think the best thing to do is just to go back to bl3 and wait until bl4 drops. Then its a good time to start playing wonderlands again.

Chaos mode was great however this is a bit cheap and I don't feel like we are being rewarded enough when it comes to level 50 like not even 5% ascended 15% to primordial 25% and then 50% would be much better. Also as a sniper player I know that I cannot play I simply can't even aim and shot critical spots, I got no time for that specially as a glass Cannon. The combat when it comes snipers has always been clunky but now it's simply impossible. You need to be cheap to do enough DPS to go through chaos mode 35 for example 20 even. Cool design, but they overdid it both in the health, in the harsh drops and in the damage. Healthgate can't save a sniping build.
First off standard rolls need to never drop after chaos 25, we don't need them and it's dumb

Arguably the damage doesn't matter because at C35 you were already being one shotted to the health gate. It's still two hits and FFYL.

The numbers at 0:31 should be the numbers at chaos 50, but primordial drop chance is 23.26%. NON-CHAOS DROP WEAPONS SHOULD NO LONGER DROP ONCE YOU HIT CHAOS 50.

Somehow, Gearbox continues to piss me off once again. It's not at the level of Bethesda or Blizzard, but they are getting there.
Conceptually the idea of going up in difficulty is necessary and important but why can't we get anything out of it? If the game got this much harder, shouldn't i get some more levels and skill points? Instead, everything we had just got worse if you really think about it. Ascended is the new primordial and they are slightly more difficult to get now. All they did was turn up the difficulty without giving us ANY incentive to do it.
i genuinely dont know why they are anti incentive to play any aspect of this game, except chambers, but even then no longer term incentive

Well I really don't mind if they raised the Chaos levels as they didn't force us to deal with them, actually these are meant for more challenging, but imo they should just balance the weapons if they keep rising the Chaos levels so we could use variety of builds.
It doesn't look like C50 is worth the effort. If the drop rates and money were increased maybe but it just looks like everything turns into a bullet sponge unless you have that magical build and gear. All I want to do is play the game.

@@borderlandsdude3543 what’s the point of getting to max if you gotta rely on a broken build and go down every few seconds, screw the max might just chill at Chaos 35 and do Chaos 50 when I’m really really bored. It’s how I personally addressed the increase to OP10 in BL2. I’ll do the same here.
They honestly should've just done mayhem levels but on a lower scale, like no modifications and not as big increases to health and all that to avoid mayhem scaling. Adding more and more chaos levels is discouraging people from playing it, cause that's more chaos chambers which was only cool the first week before it became a repetitive mess. You don't get much out of it, and it's more time doing something most of the fans are sick of. I myself am waiting for the end of the games lifespan before playing it, as that's when it'll be worth playing in my opinion. Same thing with borderlands 3, at launch it didn't do good, but as time went on it became a great game besides it's story and even has a lot of build diversity and gear diversity. The only class as well that can do Chaos 50 effectively is probably Spell Shot, while everything else probably does god awful... Rip clawbringer unless they buffed them lately and I'm just no aware of it yet.
They should be account bound, shouldn't have to unlock 50 lvls on every character, and getting rid of the random bosses from chaos 20 to 35 is stupid.
I have only tried to get to C50 with a broken melee build and I'm still struggling bc I get one shot every 5 seconds - zero chance do i try with any of my gun builds rn ://
@@KodyMcHugh I know the game is still early in it's lifetime, but at this rate the game will probably die within the next few months. especially with how the dlc have been. The lack of effective build variety, pretty much no end game or actual farms is also slowly but surely killing the game. and they keep wanting players to keep doing chaos chambers, when no one actually wants to do them anymore. But it's the only effective way of actually farming anything in the game. And the chaos levels at this point are just a way to get people to play longer, nothing more and nothing less.
Why do they turn everyone off playing there games
Tiny Tina’s started off fun because it was different and took a goofy light hearted approach to the already goofy and lightheartedness the borderlands series had. I went through the grind up to chaos lvl 35. Now, not only do I refuse to torture myself to get chaos lvl 50; but, I also refuse to play the game until gearbox improve its quality of life. This is not a fun game to play at endgame, nor will it ever will be if they continue down this path.
I don't want to play the chaos chamber 50 times, period. It's not that fun.
They probably should have waited until dlc 4 to increase the chaos level to 50. I wonder how many UA-camrs actually farm gear legitimately without any cheat programs
This one grinds all his stuffs 🤙but yeah a lot don't. I'm not for C50 at all rn, but DLC 4 at least would have been a better time, if they spent the next month balancing enemy dmg, and character health/shields etc
@@KodyMcHugh Much respect for farming legitimately. Right now I'll probably just grind to level 20. Enemies are way too tanky and their damage output is insane. I don't have enough good gear o shred bosses in seconds like some do.

While I love Borderlands (except BL3) I'd say wait until it's on sale with all of the "DLC" for under $30. The game is great, but once you play through it once it's pretty much over. There's no additional playthroughs, the Chaos Chamber isn't that great. And the DLC is a joke & a serious ripoff.
Honestly unless something drastic changes (like adding additional levels/playthroughs) wait till it's under $20 for all of it

Yea it's 63.99 cdn but I love doing all side missions, exploring, finding lore, trying different builds, taking in the atmosphere, looting and taking my time. I can easily see myself spending 300, 400+ hrs with Wonderlands.
@@benprins8240 I put a bit over 2,500hrs into BL2 so far. And about 1,500hrs into BL1. When a BL game is good, I'll play it to death. 75hrs of Wonderlands and I was mostly done.
It won't be easy to get 3-400+ hours of use out of Wonderlands as it sits right now. And I'm including everything in the DLC's that are so far released as I stupidly bought the Chaotic Great edition as up till now BL DLC has always been great

@@benprins8240 - The base is pretty good, but the story campaign is relatively short in comparison to the BL games. The story itself is pretty good and so is the gameplay as well as the environments. Wonderlands is hands down my favorite of all the BL games so far in those features. Regarding the DLCs, they are extremely short - like "a matter of minutes" short but finishing the first difficulty of each mirror unlocks the maps for that particular mirror into the chaos chamber as well as new gear, which I really like. But honestly, you may want to wait until there is a substantial discount on this first season pass unless you want to add the new maps to the chaos chamber now and don't mind the DLC price. I got it in the Chaotic Great Edition which is the cheapest way without discount and I feel it was still too over-valued. But even so, I don't regret pre-ordering it. I still love this game and play a few chaos chamber runs every day!

I think this level of difficulty is the result of the ingame mail system. UA-camrs don’t need to grind their own drops, they made the game look too easy. And because people are idiots and don’t actually know what they want, they complain they need a difficulty increase despite probably struggling with the current difficulty level themselves.

@@KodyMcHugh To be fair I had the feeling you grind your own gear Kody, since I saw you go live so much grinding BL3. I didn’t know you can’t send gear between friends in WL, that changes my view a bit. Still, I feel like the crazy builds UA-camrs have makes the devs think they should make the game harder when I feel like most of us don’t want that.
Haha! Yes mate, exactly! I have more love for Gearbox than most, but I feel this is exactly the problem. You can save file share on PC, so item trading is still super easy with WL. And I read someone complaining that Gearbox have "casualised the difficulty of WL to the point where everything can be one-shot and the game is pointless." But like, that's *only* the case if you've got a full stack of gear that, in the case of a god roll amulet, has a 1:11 (9%) chance to drop on kill, and then a 1:4620 (0.02%) chance to roll in that exact way. So that's a potential 50,820 farms for just ONE specific piece of gear. And fuck! That's not EVEN factoring in chaos-gear drop chances. So like, casualised my fucking arse!
Anyway, sorry for the rant. Just loving that someone else has noticed the same thing. 👊💜
Getting god rolls wasn’t even necessary in BL3, things were just so broken op you could just cobble up some meta gear and be fine. Wonderlands is where it became an issue especially when they added the tier system to items. Made things suck as a whole. Also wouldn’t generalize and say ALL UA-camrs don’t grind their drops. K6 and Kody for sure grind their own drops heck they stream most the time where they get their drops. But if we’re talking somebody like Moxsy (who for sure does some grinding and a majority save editing to get god rolls) for sure people get the wrong idea and think the game is a breeze. Also in that regard wouldn’t assume all PC players save edit their items there’s still people out here who actually farm. But it is a business on its own in many Discord servers to spread god rolled and save edited items to people on console via Crossplay, once people get said gear they think game too EZ, might complain, Gearbox sees, cycle of making endgame harder ensues.

Remember on BL2 there were some purples that could compete with legendaries? Guess that’s not the case with this god awful scaling. Damn gearbox just let us be OP, if your gonna increase chaos at least give us some viable weapons without a drop rate that’s dookie.
That's the thing there are banger purples and even blues in this game, they're just ruining their scaling so only the most busted builds survive
@@KodyMcHugh really feel like it's just a pad out game time method. Basically add more difficulty so the people that want to 100% the game are forced into spending hundreds of hours on it. Not my preference,even with the good gameplay loop. Espically Since all the content we got before felt unique. Worst part is I love rogue lites and the chaos chambers feel like one, too bad it's unplayable because I don't have the time to grind out these busted builds.
I've farmed the Boss run on chaos 50 and gotten about 7 Asdended item pretty good farm and manageable
Not the right place or time but...
I've bought the TTWL the very same day it became available, paid top $$$ for a game that even wasn't properly tested yet, but hey... silly old me, right!
These greedy bastards are now selling it on Steam for about 25% less than the original price tag which is more than an insult to the first adopters. They've had us pretty much beta-testing the game, they are now selling more stable game for much cheaper to those clever enough to wait.
I have BL3 both on Epic and Steam and that is going to be the the very last time of me being so disrepectfull towards my own wallet. If, and IF, BL4 rolls out I'll wait for more than a year to buy it for about 20-25% of the initial price.
Imo steam 'early adopters' are purchasing a much more unstable game, C50 is a messss, the game at launch had bugs for sure (especially UI and balancing) but all round was solid, a lot of their post launch updates have scuffed it. I love it i´m playing alot in group and me and my friends played lots of borderlands and always always always hit max mayhem Max OP and still oneshot bosses or run thru most gameplay the same way we did on lvl 1to 15 and its for me the first time in a along not running thru shit like a derpie dango and onetapping without aiming instead dying numerous times and fail with a group what makes it FUN for me ! Sometimes i like games that are hard to beat and not to reewarding even tho i wont play it forever and they should put chaos for low lvl out too i would love to get an archivement for playing chaos 20 from lvl 1-40 in the full campaign with all sidequest and as reward a skin or any accessoiry(sry my english isnt the best)! And there is always a choice in playing harder ! I dont want to make anyone mad just my Opinion and i love the way they put it for the first time ! ( But i dislike most of the Seasonpass things to get)
Give it 4 characters and 500 hours… it kills itself
Glad i quit when i did. Chaos levels need to be squished down to 10 levels. And having to unlock the levels is just a pain. I dont want to run level up chambers that much...
Man this game pisses me off so much, I’m the idiot who picked the worst class in the game (clawbringer)because I thought he looked cool, let’s not even talk about the 5 dollar bin store dlc. Absolutely no inspiration put into chaos levels. I’m stuck on 17, I can’t do enough damage to dryll to even get his shields down. Then they give us clawbringers a buff, what is it you ask SOME BULLCRAP THATS WHAT!! I’m done playing this crap. I’ll watch from the sidelines as everyone is clearing chaos lvl 100 for some gear with some crap name and barely moves the scale in way of actual power. Honestly I’m mad because I liked the game, I wanna play it but there is no reason to bash my face against this particular wall.
This game has borderlands 2 late game nightmarish scaling.
Bl3 was a much better game. Tiny biggest and best qualities are on display during its campaign and fun uniques..
Chaos 50 definitely put us in that spot :// Borderlands 3 now is a much better game, but they did the same thing during its life, for a few months in 2020 there was like 6 useable weapons, so there's like the slightest hope left in me that they still have a banger game in Wonderlands at it's core.. if they just stop.. take some time and work on some meaningful updates their community actually wanna see

The dlcs in wonderlands have been an absolute joke imo. Here have some more grinding no thanks, seriously regret not just buying the standard edition of this game

Dlc is kinda garbage, and endgame kinda unfulfilling. And no TVHM? Or something like it? I want to grind gear by doing more and more challenging playthroughs.

I dont play wl anymore, bc i as a huuuge fan since bl1 who played all dlc's in every game didnt like this game. And i decided to spent not another 170 euro for 1 game and thousend freakin' dlc's. I don‘t get to chaos 50. This game is just to boring in endgame and there is no reason to play to chaos 50 for 14% more dmg for 24hrs. This game is in such a bad spot
