    Great info! If you don't want to mess with swapping the water pump and housing though, I see no reason why you couldn't use the heater hoses, either by using T fittings or by plumbing the oil cooler inline with the heater core. Another option is to use the coolant lines for the throttle body. From what I see most performance guys disconnect this anyways, so you could adapt those to larger hoses to feed the oil cooler as well. However, since those hoses are smaller and don't flow as much coolant, the oil cooler may not perform quite as well, but still an option and way better than no cooler at all. Hope this helps someone

    • @DAVEMARINO
      @DAVEMARINO  4 роки тому +1

      Avery Alexander Thanks! Yeah the heater hoses could be an option as well just would have to figure out some hoses that work !

      @@DAVEMARINO Thanks. I'm thinking it will since the oil filter is the same size, my only concern is the connection for the coolant lines. The way one of them points back may be a bit of a problem though. If I can get one cheap enough I may give it a try though.

    Does the K24A2 alternator will still bolt onto the RSX Type S K20A2 housing passage?
    Reason is I have 07 TSX K24A2 with Mechman high output alternator that is for my car. I don't want to change the alternator.

    • @DAVEMARINO

      The k20a2 water pump allows for you to run the OEM oil cooler to help keep your oil temps down. It wont gain you horse power per say but can keep your car cooler to maintain performance.

      I ordered a K20A2 water pump housing assembly... housing, water pump, thermostat assembly, even the belt tensioner and pulley...water pump is missing the joint coming out of the pump going to the oil cooler.
