VIDEO INFO:
As is becoming a running trend in my videos, I did kinda bad on the part i usually do good on (the end of the red stream) and I did good on the part I usually do bad on (the pattern near the end of the song).
If you look real close, you can see my reflection in the mirror on the left of the video once I get up from the chair: as soon as I got gold I threw down my sticks in celebration and walked off, haha
Also, the pads are shaking so much because of the sock mod: i'm not hitting them all that hard.

Yeah, that's true. It makes the sound like it's gonna switch to Gold, but it doesn't show the gold stars 'til the score screen.
the two big long drum rolls in the middle of the song keep getting me. my star power doesnt last long enough :(

a great way to do this section is to emphasize holding the pedal down hard when u go to play the blue and red hit
to be honest, this is to compensate for not having a beater on the drum pedal: the destroyer pedal has a slot for a beater, but I have nothing to hit, so I play without one.
With a beater on the pedal, the inertia of the pedal is much higher, so I can use much less force to do triple hits, but without it, I basically have to provide my own "momentum" to constantly hit the pedal like that with a break in between.
he got enough points to gold from the solo points at the end of the song.
wow the quality is amazing when you watch it in high quality you can see the rubber bands on the socks
i cut out the sound so you guys could hear the rhythm, so you'd know what rhythm to hit the drums/pedal at to nail that part

gah insane pedalwork for the guitar solo. im stuck on this song in career and always fail out at guitar solo c (around 3:25) and if i do get past it the next part isnt forgiving either.
i always get right fucked up when i miss a bass pedal note during the fast part and then i can't seem to recover lol

In a response to what DonaldHellsing said, you can have double bass pedals for Rock Band™ drums. All you need is a splitter for the Jack.
Because it is just a standard jack. Then hook two pedals into the splitter then plug it into
the drum set.

The solo is a pattern. In real life, the drummer uses a double bass when doing his drum roll where every hit on the cymbal is a pedal. For this game, the left handed pedals were removed, so how it works is during the drum roll, hit the bass pedal every other red note. It takes LOTS of practice, but now i can't get through it with no star power.
i've beaten the entire RB1 setlist with one hand on expert drums, so you can play it too, it just takes some special training.
do you have any tips for the solo b and c i can basically fc every other part of the song even the end except those 2 solos kill me ive tried counting bass hits and everything
does it matter what instrument you play for the endless setlist to determine what instrument you get the silver badge for?
for example, if i do guitar on expert, do i get it for all instruments or just for guitar?

Yea how did it go from just 5 stars when he ended to 5 gold? And by the way great job on this song i finally beat it. I would always easily be able to get to 63% which is the crazy snare bass part. It feels so good to have the song over with!!!
Sock mod is when you put socks on the drum heads for it to be more sensitive and less noisy.

Have you experimented with the height of the drums at all? I sit on a fairly low bench and I recently started lowering the drums a bit, thinking it might prevent my arms from getting tired after extended periods of holding them up high. Not sure it helps, though... could just be the way I'm hitting the drums.
