So I got my 6th new drumset; it's pretty damned bad, so I invented yet another mod, and got this video of me playing Orange Crush on Expert.

normally the hi-hat is to the left of the snare, thats why they did that. The freestyle fills has a set way of being. That way it just involves less programming. If you notice a lil more the red pad is both hi-hat and snare through out the vid.

Honestly, this is one of the easier songs on expert mode for me.
But still, awesome job again, dude. I can never get more than JUST over the 5 star mark for this song. Rock on!
the answer to both your questions is random craziness, you can hit anything you want in the beginning, and during a drum solo.
omg, the bass in this song is awesome.
Actually they are tube socks used for more sensitivity. The drum hits sometimes don't count so the socks magically work. I say magically because I don't know how the socks do it lol.

no problem, it helped me tons, burned katakana, hiragana, and basic sentence structure into my head within weeks
its called the sock mod. He did it to make the pads more sensitive. Makes it easier for the 16th notes and shit.
Depends on the way it is, if you can play Rock band songs (on expert) (without fail), the drums are a good way to learn basic beats, I come from a no drum background (bass guitar player), I can now play expert pretty well, now my (real) band plays one song every sat with me on drums, just for fun because i'm learned the basic enough skills to keep a good beat and play a song, granted i'm not a god but I learned something from rockband.

Actually, UA-cam doesn't do anything. Azurite is the one who swaps the audio. He has to do it otherwise the video gets removed.

I was able to pull some simple songs at my friend's electronic drumset just with my rockband experience!
It is WAY BETTER than using guitar hero guitars to train guitar skills, this one actually helps a little bit
it often is, and it is when you play in a freestyle before getting energy. but since the rock band drums have only 4 hits they often change it around.

search "slime forest" on google and download that program: it'll help you in learning katakana and hiragana, and that's pretty much essential to get around at a basic level in Tokyo (on your own, that is).
yay i love this song! i got rock band saturday and was able to do this song today on expert first try 85% and i think 147 or 157 note streak i was really happy lol cuz its hard for me to do like the constant rows like that.
this song takes lots of practice on expert, its all about having a good rhythm

keeping your foot on the pedal does hurt. having it elevated and then pressing down when necesary may seem worse but after the song you see that that is why everyone normal does it that way.

actually, I'm decently sure that's on purpose. He skipped that one to make sure he would be able to use the last energy phrase. Otherwise he would've been left with unused energy at the end.

I don't see how it hurts. I always keep my foot on the pedal, which helps a lot since my leg gets tired when I keep it up.

I'm trying to see how far I can get on expert career and this song is coming up. I've 5 starred all but one song on the tiers before it, but I'm dreading this one. I'm not used to trying to play the same pad with both hands, so it'll be a job to get through it.

wrong...the socks actually increase sensitivity - he actually only uses the audio from the game rather than the direct capture of him playing, in some of his other vids he will often drop game audio to hear the actual banging of the drums

For me this song is really hard on drums on Expert. I just can't get used to doing those repetitive red snare notes. I don't play the real drums, so it makes this harder for me.

You need to earn a high enough score in a song as well as be playing the song on Expert difficulty as that is the only difficulty gold stars can be earned on.

i absolutely hate this song on drums, I still have the pre-pack kit that came out on launch day, meaning anything faster than a 16th note isn't going to register. I passed this song first try, but i had to use one hand the whole time, which somehow works better.

I'm starting to hate the UA-cam moderators. I loved it when they weren't sticking their noses into ever single video, and finding something wrong with it. I want to watch people on Rockband play well, and I want to watch Music videos, but nope, UA-cam sticks their noses into it, deletes, mutes, or changes it. Bah!
