We left BC in 2022 and moved to PEI - Atlantic Canada is a special place. People are so kind. We're very happy here and planning on a trip to NL this summer! Great Videos!

Beautiful video. I’ve been dreaming about going to Newfoundland for the last 30 years but hubby wasn’t really into it. My mother died last year and I thought I’ve got to go before it’s too late. I’ve got 2 months of waiting left and we’ll be heading there and I absolutely understand your emotions. I think I’ll have some weepy moments from the moment the island comes in to view from the ferry. Hopefully by that time I’ll be comfortable enough to speak on camera because I know I have to share this adventure. 💖🇨🇦

We did the NFD trip last year in Aug/Sep '22 and it was just out of this world experience. Again watching your video was refreshing our memories from the trip. Not sure if you ended up in the St. Anthony area, but will find out from your other part of this trip. Cheers all the way with your adventures.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the first campsite in the rest area, That is part of Wreak House the winds in that particular area can reach Hurricane level winds, and will blow transport trucks on there sides, so that wind you heard at night was common. Also the wind is not from the ocean it funnels through the mountains towards the ocean. There use to be a sign there mentioning the strong winds in the rest area, There is a large sign up the road if you were heading back toward the same ferry a bright yellow and states 200 mile per hour winds posible ahead. Just lookup Wreak House Newfoundland

Stunning Newfoundland! Basically this video reiterated that I need to go back there and bike around the island again. And what a great point about having a travel dream realized and fully appreciating and being overwhelmed by the moment.

I was surprised to see sun on your first stop.Thats the Wreck house. Winds race down the mountain towards the sea. It's after blowing over trains, tractor trailers....very bad when the winds pickup.

Thank you!!! We went in August of 2022. No ticks on the doggies and we were actually surprised by how little bugs there were in general!

Hi Mike and Daina. Great video. Hope to get up to that area next Spring. What month were you guys there? Do you know if there's a start and end to the RVing season in Gros Morne? I haven't seen many videos about Newfoundland but the ones that I have seen have always been pretty incredible. Thanks for the tour! John.

I’m thinking about if I should carry a inflatable boat with my RV to Newfoundland ? Is there any public boats launch available? Thanks? Boats launch friendly for tourists? Do you think the water is peace enough for inflatable boat with 6P engine?
