Great video! The scenes you have videotaped in the coastal areas of Nfld are fantastic! Noticed in one of the hooking-up scenes and noticed you do not use a weight distribution hitch! Also, several broadside views of your rig show that your F150 has a lot of rear squat! You and your rig would benefit from a properly installed and setup weight distribution hitch! I know most provinces do not require weight distribution hitches on trailers with less than 5,000lbs GVWR, but it is apparent that with the load on your hitch combined with the weight in your truck and the weight in your truck bed, you are pushing the limits of your rig. I pull almost an identical rig and found that after including a weight distribution hitch with built-in sway control to my rig it improved the handling characteristics of the rig immensely and in my opinion increased the level of safety to my rig, particularly in mountainous areas, cross winds and emergency braking situations. Keep up the great work with your videos and documentaries in your presentations. All the best. Garth

Thanks a lot for watching! Our previous rig was a Tacoma with a travel trailer and we used the Andersen WDH for that. We didn’t for this current rig and haven’t had any issues so far with sway or big wind and we’ve gone through some windy places for sure! I might add air bags in the future though for the sag…
Another reason we don’t run a wdh anymore is because we go down dirt/uneven roads a lot, and using a wdh in those situations really tugs and pulls on the frame in weird angles and can damage not just the hitch but the frame itself. I’ve seen some videos of people bending their entire tongue because of situations like this….

Wow Wow, so glad I found videos. They are all so well put together. It makes me homesick for "Ome" as we Newfies calls it. I just can't get over how beautiful you captured my Homeland. Also love your excitement for everything you seen& visited. You make me want to go visit those places next time I'm Ome. You are one of thy few people that pronunciation
New Found Land .... properly ..
You didn't bad talk about anyone or any place you were while there. Must Newfoundlanders would let you park in their driveway & fill up with water. One of the prettiest on earth. Love my a Roots. Thanks so much for the great footage.. Bless you both

I don't know if you know about Gander, NL you passed though/ by going to Sy John's. It was where over 100 planes took refuge while 911 was happening & the whole community came together and fed& brought people/ strangers into their home for the few nights that they were stranded
There's a museum in Gander to go view the amazing stuff that's still there from that adventure..

I have a strong desire to visit The Rock. My grandparents were born there, and on my father's side of the family, I'm only second-generation American.

The views, the seaside park with trails down below, different icebergs floating by each day. We love it here. Will def check out some of your other boondocking spot recs. Thanks!

The most eastern point in N America is in Greenland. This is as far as you can go with an RV though! I hope to be able to get out there one day.

Hi guys! Great video. Thanks for being specific about your campsites. So many videos I watch where they say 'fantastic spot' without saying where it is. What month of the year were you in NFLD? I'm seriously thinking of going this summer, probably end of August.

End of August is usually very nice. September runs the risk of a hurricane.
