No problems, only solutions with this piece of equipment.
Solves every problem of stock exhaust.
Yamaha, next update of T7, please note!
Excellent test.
Safe, happy travels 👍
Yes, true!
Part of the fun of owning a bike is customizing the way you like it. Looks good!
Couldn't agree more!
I've got the HPcorse one. And also cutted the old exhaust bracket off just for the looks.
Love how a high exhaust looks and it removes the weakness of it
Thanks for sharing!
I like to add some information on the 2023 model of the MIVV Dakar, which I got from their support:
"We made a change on the link pipe a couple of month ago and the evolved one has different bending.
The reason of this change is that we were receiving occasionally claims about the link pipe slightly hitting the swingarm after big jumps during off-road races. Actually the problem was caused also by weight of the rider and the setting of shock absorber.
Anyway, we decided to cut it short and make an evolution of the link pipe to solve the problem radically.
The new link pipe is surely better because it’ll never hit the swing arm, even under extreme racing conditions."
I hope the muffler will not get louder over time and use. I'm still fine with my original Akrapovic of the Rally Edition, which I don't hear at all. There is so much wind noise around my helmet that I'm thinking to take a shorter one like the Puig Sport Screen.
Greetings from Germany, Bernd 💙💛🏁🤛🏼
If i order this kit how do i know if i am getting the new bend or if it is the old bend. is there different part numbers?
@@rnovia80There is no different article number. All mufflers sales from Q2/2023 I have seen have the new pipe. As MIVV is selling very good I don't assume that anybody will have some pre-2023 stock.
Thanks for this video Pavlin. My friend accidentally dropped his T7 while standing still and bent the exhaust bracket causing the exhaust to hit the swing arm exactly as you described. It is in my opinion a design fault by Yamaha but as you say there is always something right. Everything you say here is worth a T7 owner looking at. Very informative. Great job 👏🏽
I have installed on my Tenere the Balckwidow exaust which I'm in love with her, 6 months later I bought the full exaust and removed the Euro 5 catalytic, man this changed the behavior of the bike. It feels like a big first bike now.
Nice video Pavlin, how about a follow up on how you installed the stock indicators up on the tail piece (looks like a few people have asked for the same thing).
There is not enough material for a whole video. I improvised. I have drilled holes in the tail and attached the indicators with handmade brackets from inside.
I did much the same to mine, A HP Corsa pipe and muffler tucked inside. So simple. Much lighter sounds great. Little anti-seeze on those mounting bolts doesn't hurt. Could use a small eye bolt thru the old mounting hole for an extra strap attachment point.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another great video Pavlin.
The only concern I have for this modification is the large aluminium bracket fixing the muffler to the underside of the bike, knowing how alu fatigues and eventually cracks I'd much prefer if it were steel.
Thanks again.
The future will show us.
@@motorcycleadventures it certainly will,I hope I'm wrong😉
We will see.
Exactly my thoughts when i saw that thing.
When the T7 first came out I thought the low exhaust was a problem waiting to happen and was ugly. This looks like a good improvement and it gets rid of that tiny sound from the skock.
Absolutely!
Sounds better. And quieter. Didn’t think that could be done. But I like it.
Very nice! It looks much much better and the fact that you don’t have to worry about bending the frame in a small drop… well that’s just peace of mind 👍🏻
True!
Hi Pavlin,
I have the same (in black) on my world raid. I love it. I will add heat protection as soon as it's available (out of stock for the moment) because I burn my shoes on it)
I didn't have to remove the Yamaha short tail and yamaha LED plus turn signals. The exhaust is close but it's fine, it won't melt.
I find mine very loud, but I like it like that!
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing, Christophe!
1. you should loctite the bolts to prevent vibration coming loose (even better to use rubber washers on the mount)
2. the license plate will melt on highway speeds (heat shield?)
3. your bags will melt also (need a heat shield solution)
4. Sounds good (assume no remapping needed)
5. looks better than stock
Thank you sir i got my Tenere like 2 weeks ago and right away noticed how the stock one looks like the first thing that hits the ground and it’s welded bracket 😅, this video was a big help knowing its easy to mount and will be helpful again once i buy one and rewatch to remember all the steps. Thank you 🙏
Glad I could help!
I just installed same Mivv exhaust. Actually if you use ~10mm spacers and taller bolts, it's possible to use it with original tail and blinkers as well.
Good to know.
Do you have a photo, I would like to install with original tail and blinkers.
Looks very well made and a good addition to your bike. Good that it is out of the way when putting the bike down.
Yes, thanks
The first day on the MABDR I dropped the bike on the right side, I had soft panniers on and assumed it was OK. Nope, the next morning I noticed that the exhaust had been rubbing on the swingarm and a little bit of metal had been worn away. Out came the tools (before I even had coffee. Uncivilized!). I had to remove the exhaust, bend the bracket back out, and reinstall. It's a real problem and worthy of a solution.
Agree!
I got an Arrow legal kit for my V strom, to loose some weight. In terms of quality Arrow and Mivv I think are kinda'f the same. What worries me is the insulation material. On my Arrow they say to check it every 8-9 000 kms and replace as necesarry (on yours is 4 000), otherwise noise will go up and the can will start to change it's colour. So I am guessing this is where the weight reduction comes from mainly. If I end up needing to replace the insulation every year or so and for you maybe more often because you do a lot of kms ....I don't know. Hopefully we made the right choice and maybe somebody with more experience with these pipes can share some info.
I will share my long term experience.
Glad you put on a high exhaust, the T7 needs that so much. Went with HP Corsa on mine.
Very nice. I’m glad it’s not too loud. I ordered one of these just for the positioning of it. Don’t want loud muffler either. Just Waiting for it to show up now. Thanks for another good video🍻
Glad to help!
Hey man, thanks for the advice! Could you tell us what's the plate and blinkers holder you are using?
Great video - I was looking for a high mount exhaust for my Tenere but was worried about being too loud and tyre clearance on big block off road tyres. This Mivv looks great though. I`ve really enjoyed your modification videos, thanks!
Glad I could help!
After watching you and nomad sweeden I ditched the ktm reliability and picked up my first T700. 2024. Now adding a high mount hp corse.
Keep up the great work. Love the videos.
Glad to hear it!
Pavlin, You can tell them you sold one. I picked one up from their USA distributor in North Carolina. Very reasonably priced. US $480.00 plus shipping.
I did a 3 year rtw in 2000 on a honda dominator....sad to say but nothing better has come out since as a true rtw bike....air cooled, utterly simple, 150,000km no breakdown, no fuel pump, no injections, no rad and water pump, 175kg wet and 46hp. The only things made today I'd even consider are a crf300 rally or a t7 world raid....but honestly I'd probably modify another dominator for a true rtw bike.
I'm glad you got the high pipe! 🙂
I love it!
Truthfully this was what I was worried about when you did the side by side old v new bike video. The old exhaust [s] on my 950adv and xt660z are up out of the way which I prefer. I think you made a well thought out and accurate video, and between 10-15mins are perfect.
Keep up the good work, thanks Kev [ England]
Great informative review, thanks. I was driving in your country 2 weeks ago, crossed from Turkey, the queue going into Turkey was 2 km long, so they would be there for a while. Great adventure for a 71 year old.....sorry not a bike.
have you remapped the ECU like MIVV recommends ?
You do NOT have to change the original tail as you coment Pavel. I left mine and there is no melting of the blinkers! It is a great exhaust with this I agree absolutely; looks great, saves weight, sounds good. You need a protection for your right boot otherwise this will melt.
Thanks for the info!
Hi there, what tail tidy is this? The solution with the indicators looks great!
my experience with MIVV, long time ago on my Suzuki twin exhaust after 27 years is rusty, only cans, bought mivv, only 3 years and is finished, yes it's light but thin material, after this I'm make new with help of my friends, now is 15 years on my Suzy showing little rust, that is my case, hope you be better
Thanks for sharing!
Greetings,
As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲
Do you know if mivv exhaust comes in black?
Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos about the T7
Yes, they have a black version.
Sound has more character. Good choice Pavlin.
Thanks, man!
I fitted the Polish brand Huzar, one issue looks the same on your new pipe is the new link pipe will burn your boots, i fitted heat shields.
Very nice!
A question! - if you lay the bike down with the soft saddle bags.. might cause a burn. Maybe you should try it too. It's easy to forget that.
Hi Pavlin! I have now also fitted the Mivv exhaust. Which indicators (brand) have you fitted at the rear? Cheers, M.
Custom, made in Bulgaria
Very nice video! But how you install the rear indicators behind the tailight on the plastic section of the bike.
What's about passenger heating ?
I like this design. Now the old mount is a protector of sorts. And with not much surface area to apply force in a crash (only the bolt hole as opposed to the entire side of the muffler), I bet it's less likely to experience the bending force in a crash as it would otherwise.
True
I'm seldom impressed by aftermarket add-ons, but that exhaust is Very impressive . Five hundred euros is "steep" ... but replacing the stock muffler after it gets damaged would probably at least that expensive . The exhaust note is Much more pleasant even at the slight increase in volume . Positioning of the exhaust is in the logical orientation ( as opposed to the stock exhaust) . Very well done, Mivv !
Thanks for watching!
Sound very nice . Throaty deeper sound sounds quieter on the move.
I am on 70.000 Km with the original pipe position doing a lot of off-road riding. I only put on a lighter slip on. I came off the bike a few times. NO Problems so far. In my opinion it is creating a drama where absolutly no drama is. It also creates some disadvantages (indicators, center of gravity...). Greetings from Germany, Stefan.
As I said it is not necessary in any way, but it is good to have it.
I doubt the centre of gravity is in any way different, yes it sits higher but it is also 2,1kg lighter. It looks much better than the stock and sounds far far better too, more solid and not tinny and rattley. Wish I could get your 'discount' Pavlin😉 but Idon't think they will make one for my old Tiger 😕
@@Wrong-Way-Round sure its different. Don't compare different things. Same light slip on on the OEM braket = lower Center of gravity.
No one is talking, or comparing another 'can' being put on the oem bracket, which I presume Pavlin also took off as it would now be 'dead weight' which is heavier built than the new bracket. Yes this lighter one would lower the cofg if fitted to the oem bracket but fitting it higher does not necessarily mean that the cofg is raised, in comparison to the oem 'can' which is 2,1kg heavier. Now do you understand what I'm saying.
Buddy lost his Maschine after 7 days. It was bumped over by a car while parked. It fell over on the Right side, Exhaust was hit, frame was bent and cracked. Maschine was financially totaled. (Wirtschaftlicher Totalschaden)
It was luckily replaced by insurance. I immediately ordered a high exhaust the next day for my own Maschine.
Greetings Form South Germany.
Looks good and has a nice sound but not too loud. Thanks Pavlin.
Thanks for watching!
Hello from St.Petersburg. My MIVV melted a hole in my pants. Protection is required.
It seems that for the correct positioning of the pipe relative to the pendulum and the passenger's footboard, the mount to the tail acts.
Good to know.
I have the same pipe. It is built of stainless steel. Nice pipe, but it makes a weird farting sound when you chop the throttle. Take out the baffle and it is LOUD but it sounds really good.
Great video. Please can i ask what brand is your rear rack and if you could give me a link that'd be appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you very much for your contribution, I have now also bought the MIVV Dakar!! One question: how did you attach the turn signals to the rear of the rear? Thanks for the reply...
Driled a holes
Hi there, I have just bought a tiger 800 XCX, I’m wanting to do some European riding, so I’m watching every thing I can find hear on Utube and came across your channel, so I have subscribed 👍🏻 as I’m a big lover of Bulgarea, I have bought 2 houses with large grounds, so I’m living in one and doing up the other, in a small village called Ruzhitsa, 20 miles from Yambol, and I would just love to see the beauty’s of Bulgarea on my bike, I’m currently in the uk working a a truck driver, but I will be in Bulgarea at my home in September, loving the videos, 👍🏻😉
Regards, Mark
You have any issues with a small leak at the lower clamp? Your videos are great. Picked up this exhaust and a new T7 and it seems to have a pin hole leak no matter how I set the clamp.
It doesn't matter.
Seems to be what I'm hearing lol. I suppose I will keep it how it is. Love the bike so far, just got it a week ago. Keep up the great videos.@@motorcycleadventures
I will, thanks!
Love your Videos! I think i am going to go with the Mivv exhaust. How did you install your indicators in that position? Looks great.
I improvised.
you have some great rides and a perfect bike for the task. Here 50k in any direction is flat and full of traffic a nightmare so I opted for a Vespa just for shopping etc at least I can dream.
It is what it is!
Which luggage rack and rear grab handles have you installed? Thank you for your response.

What a good review! Aces mate!
Thanks, man!
Interesting, I never even noticed the T7 had a low exhaust . I do like the look of the high exhaust though. Hope the sound (over time) doesn’t present any issues . ✌🏻
We will see
Hi Pavlin, seems to be perfect solution to avoid bending the akra exhaust when you fall!:) The sound is even better in my opinion. By the time did you find any weak parts? I'll go for it in future. Thanks! Cheers.
For more high exhaust options, there is the Huzar exhaust from Poland or Camel-Adv from the US
Good to know.
You'll need to make a 20x30 mm hole in one part of the plastik fairing to mount a bracket for the Huzar. Just checked their web site as I wasn't aware of this option.
Looks great and a bonus that it sounds much better 👏👍
It does!
@motorcycleadventures I wonder will the high exhaust be OK with soft luggage? My V Strom has a high mounted exhaust and it gets quite hot.
It is fine with my bag.
@@motorcycleadventures thats great 👍
Well done only one thing left to pimp your ride to the max
Power commander is it possible? Great sound it's got to stay
No need for me
It looks and sounds great. And it's lighter than the stock can
Some people report that the Mivv do indeed end up touching and rubbing on the swingarm, I've seen pics of this on WR version. Keep an eye on it.
It might be wrong montage, but I will, thanks!
See my comment above on the 2023 version: slightly modified to prevent it.
@@skybluetenere Merci de ton retour, je suis un peu déçu du coup 😕
Hi, I just found your channel, and I like the earnest way you are talking. I have question and I would love to get the answer. Why that bike? There are so many different ones out there, why that one and why a 700? Thank you.
Another interesting video ! Maybe that mounting bracket is stainless steel which is also not magnetic.
Could be
Does it get hot? Have oyu noticed any problems with burning your lugage ?
very nuce video thank you, just a question: where did you buy the metal tail mounted on your bike? many thanks

@@motorcycleadventuresthanks for quick answer, but I’m referring to the upper tail connected to the handlebar, the short rack. (Visible at minute 11:33)
I guess that you mean this: www.donner-tech.de/en/c/motorcycle-accessories/navigation/yamaha/tenere-700-19-22
@@motorcycleadventures 🤣 so sorry...my English is horrible...try to explain my self better: the black rack above the stop light, on the bike's rear tail. Is connected to the passenger's handlebars...
Did the new exhaust increase the motorcycle's power?
Mivv made a good job! You made a good job Pavlin too!:)
Thanks! 😄
Great video 🙌🏼 another option is Dominator exhaustHP7 much cheaper & sounds pretty good , salut from Valencia Spain!!gasss🤛🏼🤛🏼🤛🏼
Thanks for sharing!
Very nice...need to do this...thank U Pavlin for the video :)
Is it necessary to fit a tail tidy?
Will the mivv melt the original indicators? Thank you.
I think no.
Pre-ordered one before it came out. Price was reasonable (compared to HP Corse) and sound is just right with the baffle in. Glad you're enjoying it.
Hello Pavlin, does this high exhaust interfeer your 21 brother luggage?
No! I just done 39,000km trip with it, 5,000 off road.
@@motorcycleadventures I have seen a lot of different bagage solutions but the U shape from 21 brother is so simple and efficient.
I can confirm that.
This is the way

Great video, thanks you so much! 🙌🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, what are the measures of the Allen key and such that you have used? Thanks

Hi Pavlin! big fan from Greece here, i got a 2024 tenere and im really thinking to buy this exhaust. My question is this: my bike is euro5 with catalytic converter (which runs really hot in Greek summer). IF i just add the muffler (the last part of the exhaust) and dont touch the pipes (meaning to keep the stock pipes and catalytic converter), is there a problem of any kind?
Thanks and safe travels!!
No! Mine is also Euro 5.
@@motorcycleadventures thanks for the reply! wondering on your thoughts on the "decat" thing many people do. I have riden a friends T7 with full hpcrose exhaust and the throtle was more linear (rode the 2 bikes back to back). im going to get the exhaust on monday!
In terms of power is better, but I prefer to bet on reliability.
do you have any exhaust popping on deceleration like when you go down a hill? at high rpm do you have any power loss?
Not at all!
Very useful review. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
super helpful - thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Pretty much the price of an homologated muffler.....Mine was 650 E with only a weight save of 2.4 kg and not much other than sound...
But that one is built with a purpose and if you manage to affort one, it is a good buy....
Yes!
That looks fantastic nice job❤
Браво за видеото!Страхотен канал! Поздрави от Силистра!
Благодаря!
Now available for USD 340 including freight from Italy to Florida. Mine's en route...
Thanks for the info!
Do they make something like this for the Africa twin 1100?
I hope Yamaha makes the hanger replacable so we can just replace it if it bends. Right now technically the frame of the bike bends in a crash...
I like the low position otherwise.
Agree!
Would it work with stock tail? Will it melt the turn signal?
You definitely need to change the stock tail.
Too bad you need a specific tail tidy to make it fit. It doesn't even fit the OEM T7 Yamaha tail tidy kit. I have the standard mivv carbon slip-on on my T7 and I really like it, really good sound without being too obnoxious (with cat and dbkiller). Only downside is the mounting position..
Thanks for sharing your experience with Mivv!
Where do you find this pipe or the HP Corse in the United States?
It is more or less the same.
Dear friend will this can fitted in royal enfield himalayan bike
Will it work with the factory luggage?
Yes!
Its sound much louder dan prvious one nice
True, but no problem to travel with it.
Sounds better 👍
Agree!
Still I personaly think it has much better look with stock exhaust :)
M either, but the drop issue was a problem.
good sound
Cool!💪
Good!
Interesting review, interesting brand.
Thanks, man!
