WOW JEY,,, YOU MUST REALLY DISLIKE CARNIVAL. IT SEEMS LIKE CARNIVAL MUST HAVE REALLY HURT YOUR FEELINGS IN THE PAST, AND YOU JUST CAN'T LET IT GO NOR GET OVER IT. THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE WHILE YOU GAVE THIS INTERVIEW OR PRODUCED THIS VIDEO SAYS IT ALL. THE EYES DON'T LIE MY BROTHER. GET OVER IT... I STILL THINK YOU HAVE A GREAT CHANNEL AND YOU PRODUCE AWESOME VIDEOS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Subscribed! My mom just met you guys yesterday at the Vegas Airport and said she watches all the time. Thank you for taking the time to chat with her. That deserves a like and subscribe!😇👏
We just got off this ship. 13 of us and we all agree, so far its our favorite carnival ship. The ship was sold out but it sure didn't ever feel like 4k people on board. Never felt cramped. We are going again this Christmas.
I am cruising on the Firenze in March 2025 and searched UA-cam for videos of the Firenze, as this is my first Carnival cruise. I love your videos and was happy that yours pop up. I enjoy that you give us your honest opinion. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and making great videos.
Hey J. Yes Carnival had the unique over the top colorful decor back in the 90’s. I sailed the Venezia last July and compared to what you’re showing here , the Venezia was softer and prettier. Needless to say all their newer ships have better color schemes than the quirky colors of years past. Thanks for the peek and congrats to being invited to the naming ceremony 🤗
Among my closest ports, I think the new Italian shops do look great...a new version and mix of what carnival can and does do so well. I love the Queen Mary...I have never stayed overnight but have visited her twice and once when a group was having a serious....back in the day special dress required and you could walk around and see them arriving...people were seriously 20's ro 40's dressed and it was really fun to see them arrive...this was no armature situation...enjoy your vlog!! thanks for quick review.
My fiancé and I are getting married 8/5/24 and taking the Firenze to Mexico for a week for our honeymoon!!! Soooooooo excited our first time going to another country together and our first cruise!
So glad that this ship seems to be what I had really liked about cruise ships of the past. I will be sailing on her in July, and can’t wait to experience it for myself.
Italian cruise page here. We've been on the Costa Firenze, and it's amazing how Carnival changed it to make it more "fun". We would definitely like to try it out to see the differences😍
Booked for the August 24th, 2024, sailing. As platinum status and shareholder with Carnival, I 100% agree with your statement about the entertainment, however, the comedy clubs have never disappointed.
You got to let us know I've only ever done one so far the radiance but I'm already booking my next cruise with the family and I wanted to try this s*** this time. Although my kids want to get on the radio again I think they just fear the unknown.
Hey there, we will be sailing out on May 16 so we shall see how it all goes. I think it will be enjoyable due to the ports of call. Hopefully you’re able to give it a chance 🎉
Hi Justin, I have been on the Venezia, a couple of times. I do love the ship and feel that it’s a great size. And I agree with you about the Serenity Deck, it’s beautiful and does remind me of a Celebrity ship.
I agree with you Jay about Carnival needs to step up their game. The older ships look dark and dreary. They need to modernize their ships a little bit more however I love Carnival. I have know idea how they know everyone name when they first meet you throughout your entire stay. lol
Sailing Firenze in November. I agree it looks like in Lido area we'll be packed in like sardinces and also agree that I wish Carnival ships weren't all so similar to one another! There's good and bad to it. The layouts feel the same which makes it easier to get around but they really could use more individual character!
Can’t wait for my Firenze cruise this summer. Agree with your opinion on the design. Looks like a beautiful ship and definitely more unique design wise than the newer ships, which while nicely done, are a bit bland. This is a good blend of unique style w/o the craziness of original. Farcus designs.
We just sailed with Firenze 2 weeks ago. It’s true that the Lido deck can be packed at times and the pools are full some times. It was a fun experience though. The bingo was fun but for $29 for 3x3 cards is a bit much. Guy’s burgers is a go to and I also enjoyed the pizza place. The most worth it experience of all is the hospitality of the crew and they’re very friendly.
Wish you’d have got a chance to see some of the actual shows, what you saw was just a little thing arranged for the ceremony, the ships got 2 of the companies newest shows with a really talented cast!
I want to share that I was on the 1st cruise out of Long Beach California. On the 25th of April. I have got to share that the food on this cruise ship was Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Our last 2 cruises were so disappointing for us. Food was very bland. A lot of it didn’t look appetizing and we felt like the same dishes were being served over and over. Well, I want to say, that wasn’t the case on this cruise! I can’t wait to go again!!! On another note, they Definitely have the style of their own. Some of the ship seemed to be really elegant and beautiful and other parts were kinda dingy and maybe a lil outdated. But, overall we were very pleased and we will come again! Can’t wait!🎉
I totally agree with the entertainment portion of your review. Carnival could really step up in that area for sure. They could learn a little something from Royal Caribbean when it comes to providing good entertainment. That said ,Royal Caribbean could learn a few things from Carnival when it comes to using the app to help with the flow of crowd management. For example we experienced very long lines both for dinner and not being able to book any entertainment Because of a faulty app . Making us feel we didn’t get what we paid for in the end with Royal Caribbean. No perfect. Cruise line out there. Just sail what you like and live with the imperfections. Good review. Sailing this ship in September. Can’t wait!
Oh, By The Way, Celebration is way too big carrying just under 6000 passengers, it was a zoo nightmare. Add in several medical emergencies, diversions and fight, it is a ship will not sail nor its sister ships.
Sailing in October for my birthday. Wish Carnival had taken the opportunity to turn the 2 Costa ships to adult only. Hoping ALL the kids are in school when I cruise this fall.
@@SUNDAYTEN10Same wife Booked the ship for that same date as a surprise birthday present. Then couldn’t keep a secret and told me about it a year and half early.
I think the problem with the layout is that the ship was built for a different market of cruising. I have a feeling in a couple years they may redesign some of the areas on the Costa/Carnival ships.

Glad to see how far you and your shows have come. Great job!
We'll be sailing on her in December. So cool you came to our coast to check it out. Thanks for the preview!

headed on the firenze in about 3 weeks! Can't wait!
Hey J, four of us will be sailing on June 9th on the Firenze. Definitely looking forward to it.
Thanks for the peek.
😎 Loved the side-eye glance onboard your "cheap" flight! Even with your shades we could see you throwing shade.😂

I'm absolutely loving this new approach by Carnival to acquire the ex-Costa ships - they look SO different to what Carnival are currently offering!
Ill be in the Firenze next week😊

What no tail? What in the Carnival Cruise is this?
It has the giant C, it's a Costa ship re-branded.

That's pretty much every cruise ship these days. Back with their old designer, all the ships had unique decor on the inside
We will be on this ship in July and I've never been so excited about getting on a Carnival ship. Its looks gorgeous and different from the others.

This ship looks so much classier than the ships on the East coast. I'm in CA.
Nice 🎉
I when on that one a few days ago!!!!

Massive approval of the atrium looking like the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence (Firenze)

Sailing for my 50th birthday in June!! So excited!!
Sailing on the Firenze 11/19... I'm so worried about the weather! I really hope to be in summer gear my entire trip!
Food looks pretty tasty to me! 🎉
Hey Jay would love to hear about your stay on the Queen Mary.
I sailed her. I like the Panorama better.
This shipped docked at the same time as the Carnival Vista ship I was on last week at Amber Cove.
I just got back from Rome and didn’t get enough, so when I saw this ship had to book it right away
I’ll be cruising on this ship in June 🎉
The ship looks nice🎉
Can’t wait for May 12th on Firenze
Going in November, praying I don’t get sea sick , im gonna try the patch
Planet earth this is the CLEANEST this cruise ship will ever be so enjoy!😂
I was just on carnival venezia. It looks very similar.
Vista Class Cruise
The tv and tv cord is !!!!!
I’ll be there on May 16th!! 🎉💙🛳️
I'm sailing in August. My first cruise! Any advice would be most helpful!!!
Going this Saturday, 9/7 - 14th...
Sailing in the Fall, cant wait altho im a lil disappointed that its not gonna have the Thermal Spa area.
You have to pay extra for the "haunted rooms" on the Queen Mary
I’ll be on may 21st 😊

Going on the Firenze from long beach next month 💪💪
Will carnival have a 3rd ship in costa style
For some reason, I was on the ship and when we were looking through photos, you were in our photos
Firenze is Florence I italian😊
I wasn't expecting this ship to get a "whale tail" but I expected them to at least repaint the funnel.
I'm booked for.panorama for Jan 4th 2025 than Firenze April 12th... was worried the Firenze might be to elegant to go on and enjoy.... we shall see!
