Not sure if it’s off topic but I’m 55 and Garmin gives me a vo2 max of 42 saying in the to 30 percent. I run the same thing using Apple on the other wrist and every day it gives me a 32.5 below average vo2 max. I’m hardly out of breath when I run so thinking Garmin is more accurate
I think it’s worth noting that if you are an iPhone and iOS user the Apple Watch has some advantages such as downloading music from Apple Music to the watch so you can leave your phone at home and being able to reply to messages from the watch or even take calls which I can’t do with Garmin Epix 2
I love the new AWS10 except of battery drain. The rest is great and I don't think any other watch can compete if you mainly use it for Fitness, Gym, Sleep Tracking with 2-3 runs per week. It is ofc not for trail runners or other urnning enthusiasts. And if you look other tests on GPS accuracy (in e.g. New York) or Heart Rate Sensor comparisons. The Apple Watch is ridiclously good. Plus safety features, I only need my Watch for running (no heavy phone) and App Store.
@@Rockondevil I feel you, keep your watch in good shape and sell it to Apple they give a good amount back for a new one. I do it every year. 1200 iPhone i paid 550 for
If you are wearing the watch during a running activity only and not fully into Apple, you're better off going for a Garmin, Coros, Polar, etc. Nice watch though.
After 10 gens, you'd think they've heard about the complaints and found solutions for them already, except for the battery due to physical limitations. That's why I've always gone for other brands. Not having verification of connection to HR or GPS at the get go would drive me nuts. No lap button?!, and also having to charge all of the time on trips. No one brand has it all figured out, so I always tend to wear two.
Agree. I use a Garmin during running only, and love its simplicity and efficiency, and turn it off when not in use, which is so easy. Apple Watch cannot compete on this.
Video request - "How to set up your apple watch for running" with your recommended watch faces, third party apps to get, how you use it etc.
I’ve been using the Apple Watch Ultra and it’s been great. Does everything I needed to do and more. It’s an awesome watch.

Guys, I want to futureproof my purchase do would you buy the fenix 8 or 965 please? Would appreciate your thoughts.
I upgraded to a 9 instead as I hate the gloss black.
I get your all saying the Ultra is better, but as a poor human the Series are more realistic.

i think you got the weights the wrong way round on your slide?
Ah yes, cheers for the spot!
Is there a good way to clean a Velcro watch strap
Just wash them like you wash clothes, I always do a handwashing with laundry detergent

They need to add the action button to every Apple Watch to make it friendlier for runners in general
