So... hitting keys and NOT only tweeking some knobs over a pre arranged project : speaking about a great Performance over 12 minutes. Really great! Liebe Grüße aus Bochum 😀
This guy knows what he is doing. I mean, I know many people buying lots of equipment to try to do stuff and have no clue what an LFO is or a cannon. I had people coming to my studio to mater a track with 5 bass lines at same time. Any way, I can tell this guy know he arrangement and he knows his equipment. I am totally against having so much equipment but... he is doing good.So... keep the good work Vangelis.
Very cool piece once again. Maybe i hang out too much on UA-cam and not enough on SoundCloud but it seems all the really cool synth music comes from self-produced artists like you, maybe in their home studio.
ah.. 6:15-7:03 this moment.. real tune "flow" for me very psybient-like in my mind it creates a complete (independent) new track with complexity.. PS. any way - love it
awesome! I fell asleep in the middle of the track and I had the best powernap ever. I know, sounds like a weird compliment, but I have a sleeping disorder cause of stress and this chilled me out completely :)
+ollilaboratories most probably will look into the kick, I have the entire track on 16 separate stereo stems.. so should be able to make separate sounds atleast a bit clearer. cheers!
Possibly my favourite so far. Not sure....maybe. It's in the top one at least. Weird thing happened when you bought the kick back in, the arp made my brain think the key was hitting on an off note so I had to stop and restart the video to reset my brain. Awesome.
+BluffMunkey thanks a lot man! :) haha, yeah.. that happens to me too on occasion.. sometimes loops just gets all backward, think is a pattern recognition thing in the brain that messes things up.. eg once you hear one thing, you cannot unhear it :) cheers and thanks !
Beautifully done...again! This one reminds me a bit of Broekhuis/Schoenwalder (Green maybe?). Really nice stuff. I've really grown to love all the Ollilaboratories/Burg jams. I think mine are broken. I have the Volca Keys and FM, Minilogue, 3 of the Rolland boutiques and a Mininova. Every time I plug them in, they just won't do this. ;)
I just love your music. It is exactly the type of music I would love to make. Entrancing, deep, rich both sonically and majestic. Music for listening to for hours! Do you think the Jomox is going to bite the dust soon, or is the power supply getting wonky?
+Michael Williams thanks a lot man, means a lot! Yeah, the jomox is getting way too noisy... need to fix that, it started crackling the other day too. :/ a bit bummed out, but what to do.
Great journey-into-the-unknown jam. Is the mixer also hosting the external effects? smart use of subtle effects. Thanks. hope it makes it into the final project.
Have you considered to do reviews of your gear?, cause it would be so awesome for people like me who wants to buy another toy, and also wants the opinion of other musician
+Sandor Bella thanks !! the dialogue samples are from various sources, movies, clips on youtube, etc etc. For this i use both the microgranny and the korg kaoss pad. cheers !
+Hugh Ross thanks! yeah, internal sequencers on I think all of the gear on this one. The SQ-1 is just sending some random stuff to the ms20 filter iirc.. very very subtle too.
Do you run into USB hum from a usb hub (if you use one)? I can power usb modules from separate adapters plugged into the same power strip and that works fine, but when I try to use any (it seems) usb hub I get the usb hum into my line.
+OrangeJackson I dont use USB hubs.. i have wallwart PSUs for the devices that require USB power... however, one of them had two outlets and it just got crazy when i fed the SQ1 and the JX03 at the same time, so had to ditch the other one. My guess is that this gear is not properly shielded... which is a pain in the a** .. cheers !
I know this is an old video but I just picked up a s/h T-Resonator and wondered how your using yours, or what it’s on in your setup? So far it seems quite crazy wild & hard to control, although I’ve had it sounding ok on a sequenced bass line to give some additional movement on a short repeating pattern to make it sound not so repetitive - Is this how you use yours?
I used the T-resonator mainly for reverb / delay FX, with feedback almost over the top the level of self oscillation. It is a crazy FX for sure, you need to tame it and not dial it to the max else it will kill you speakers and your ears :) So, be subtle, small changes, long ethereal reverbs it what it does best imho. cheers !
+Discophone_ thanks man! The details are not done yet.. im gunning for a release all by myself, not sure it will work out, but ill let everyone know when stuff gets closer to the finish line :) cheers and thanks !
+A. Name yeah its ironic how DJs/EDM producers stole the stage from rock bands (but I'm not saying that it was done intentionally or in malice) and now are starting to realise that hands-on hardware is the best way to perform.
Around 6:30 onward sounds amazingly tight - love the way the "ride" cymbal pattern sounds there with the nord lead sound supporting and lifting it
+Jack Schlotthauer thanks a lot man, really glad to hear you liked it! :) cheers !

+Aeffchen thanks a lot man, appreciated the kind words!! cheers !
great lead sound. also always love your use of vocal samples here and there.
+Jeremy Leaird-Koch thanks a lot mate !
You know the hard drive noise in the notebook long time ago? Your music include that sound a lot. Some people really hate it.
I love to hear to this album while programming software ... it stimulates and makes me feel relaxed at the same time.
thanks, thats great to hear.. love it when the music can be used for something creative! :) cheers !
This one is even tastier than the first movement!
as always, very sweet. Go a little darker. It's in there. A ghoulish monster.

+Berrabub haha, great to hear.. glad you enjoyed your nap. lol, peace !
I was waiting for so long for the 4/4 kick to come in, but when it did it was good.
+MUFFINWRATH if this is on the album please make the kick a lot more prominent in the mix
+MUFFINWRATH thanks man !
+ollilaboratories most probably will look into the kick, I have the entire track on 16 separate stereo stems.. so should be able to make separate sounds atleast a bit clearer. cheers!

Great sound, as usual :))

captivating, really nice :)
Sehr sehr geil!
Have you considered to do reviews of your gear?, cause it would be so awesome for people like me who wants to buy another toy, and also wants the opinion of other musician
+Raul Mg no not really, im not much of a reviewer, too restless to talk about gear.. i just want to play :) cheers !
Very relaxing, awesome track. Where are your dialog samples coming from? What sampler do you use?
+Sandor Bella thanks !! the dialogue samples are from various sources, movies, clips on youtube, etc etc. For this i use both the microgranny and the korg kaoss pad. cheers !
Thank you,
I'll keep listening for your great music.
Keep it!
+Metatron's Cube i think i might, cheers and thanks !
really cool
I like play guitar with you !
😛
FUCK YES
Excellent as usual. What are you using to sequence these? Is it the internal sequencers mostly?
+Hugh Ross thanks! yeah, internal sequencers on I think all of the gear on this one. The SQ-1 is just sending some random stuff to the ms20 filter iirc.. very very subtle too.
Hey Dude, some great tunes!
thanks!

live on stage, please we need them
Buy an Oberheim 6 Desktop Module. It's amazing.
What is that box to the left of the MicroBrute?
+nengstro the top one is a s3a 8 bit synthesizer (prototype,) the bottom one is the bastl microgranny sampler. cheers!
Great work man! Where are you going to release these? I'm going to be first on the line 😃
+Discophone_ thanks man! The details are not done yet.. im gunning for a release all by myself, not sure it will work out, but ill let everyone know when stuff gets closer to the finish line :) cheers and thanks !
+ollilaboratories okay I'l wait. Hey if you got time plese check my channel too and if you like it show some love to my vids too 😍
You awsome!
Cool stuff :P
Funny I was also just looking at making a beat @1111bpm #LOA
+dopeNL haha :D thanks man
how long did it take you to buy all this?!
+StickySprite To be fair, this is not super expensive stuff. What IS rare, is talent, dedication, and good taste, and this guy has it in spades.
+A. Name yeah I know that, just wanted to know how he ends up with enough dials and faders to command the fucking enterprise.
+StickySprite haha, I see. I guess it simply what is needed to enable hands-on tweaking and the avoidance of menu-diving.
+A. Name yeah its ironic how DJs/EDM producers stole the stage from rock bands (but I'm not saying that it was done intentionally or in malice) and now are starting to realise that hands-on hardware is the best way to perform.
+StickySprite Not expensive? Two of those synths const 1500 to 2000 dollars each. Guess you have alot of money
Just stop will you? You are wearing out my thumbs up button!
awesome stuff man!
what do you use for voices? i think i saw it left of microbrute
thanks, the vocal samples on this one is frmo the kaoss pad, KP3+ cheers!
@@BURG thx for reply! cheer!
