Hello sir.
Yung 0.000645 eh coefficient factor Ng fuel. May table Yan na depende sa density Ng @ 15 Ng supplied bunker. Makaluma na Yan. Yung accurate ngayun Yung astm table 54b

Normally, based on FO and RPM ang basehan ng pagcocompute ng consumption.
I cannot promise but I have the plans po. Sa ngayon busy po ako sa pagdevelop ng app for engineering seafarers po. Hopefully pag narelease napo i patronize niyo po. Maraming salamat! 😇
Given : Observed Temperature 25.5 Degree Celsius, Observed Density is 0.729 and Corresponding Density in 15 Degree Celsius is 0.7375. How is done it's VCF result is 0.00112 ? Please given me it's formula.
Hi! Thanks for your comment and as far as I could help, this is my answer to your question. As based on the video I posted, the formula for VCF presented here is for approximation and must only be used if no available ASTM Table 54B. As you saw from the video, the supposed formula is 1 - [ (Observed temp - 15) x 0.000645 ] But since the density in concern is very low (lower than 0.85), the formula may be changed in to Density at 15 deg C - [ (Observed temp - 15) x 0.0007 ] So, using your given data, 0.7375 - [ (25.5 - 10) x 0.0007 ] 0.7375 - [ 10.5 x 0.0007 ] 0.7375 - 0.00735 Density at 25.5 deg C = 0.73015 So, the VCF used is 0.7375 - 0.73015 = 0.00735 VCF = 0.00735 I know there is a difference of 0.73015 - 0.729 = 0.00115 Which is very very small and can be considered as accurate enough. I hope this helps. 😇 keep safe!
@@AlamgirHossain0110 Thank you for your comment. There might be a slight difference so it now depends on the engineer-in-charge's decision. A difference of 0.00003 is very very small to even notice. This is the closest formula I can give you. Thank you. 😇

san po nakikita ang 0.000645 sir. usually ung meru ndn iba gumagamit ng iba. merun .00065 merun dn 0.00067. medyu confusing lng. may table ba tay onbiard nyan
Sir thanks for your input. :) Ang 0.000645 is actually derived constant through Calculus pag inobserve ang pattern ng pagchange ng volume ng bunker sa lahat ng temperatures. 0.00067 is normally used for diesel oil kasi mas mabilis mag expand ang D.O. compared sa bunker. 0.00065 is the rounded value for 0.000645. :) I hope this helped po. Salamat at patuloy sana kayong manood sa ibang videos :)

Unlike sa schools sir and other professions, solving with the units is very important para hindi ka mawala sa process of solving. 😇 However, sa profession natin, we keep it simple as much as possible to avoid unnecessary mistakes and misunderstanding lalo na pag gumagamit ng units. Pero it is still possible sir to put the units during the solution pero I presented a direct no units solution para mas madali ifollow ang whole process. :) But to give an example, katulad ng formula ng consumption: 1. (Present FM - Previous FM) ang unit na gamit dito is liters. 2. Next step is divide it by 1000 because there are 1000 liters in 1 MT. 3. Hi! Thanks for your comment and as far as I could help, this is my answer to your question.
As based on the video I posted, the formula for VCF presented here is for approximation and must only be used if no available ASTM Table 54B.
As you saw from the video, the supposed formula is
1 - [ (Observed temp - 15) x 0.000645 ]
But since the density in concern is very low (lower than 0.85), the formula may be changed in to
Density at 15 deg C - [ (Observed temp - 15) x 0.0007 ]
So, using your given data,
0.7375 - [ (25.5 - 10) x 0.0007 ]
0.7375 - [ 10.5 x 0.0007 ]
0.7375 - 0.00735
Density at 25.5 deg C = 0.73015
So, the VCF used is
0.7375 - 0.73015 = 0.00735
VCF = 0.00735
I know there is a difference of
0.73015 - 0.729 = 0.00115
Which is very very small and can be considered as accurate enough.
I hope this helps. 😇 keep safe!
