TROPANG MAKINISTA - DIAGRAM SERIES EPISODE 2 : Pump and Valve Marks
Hello everyone! Here we have another episode that is a continuation of our Diagram Series. And this video is very important as it tackles about how to interpret the Pump and Valve marks/labels in piping diagrams. I could clearly say that 70% of seafarers on board lack this ability. So be a part of the remaining 30% who knows how to do this. So come on! Watch, learn and impress your senior officers by showing them that you know how to use your diagrams properly. Welcome to episode 2 of our Diagram Series.

Welcome to another episode on Things We Ignore Onboard. Today's feature is definitely something that most of us ignore when doing Engine Rounds. So ignored that even the content creator missed to take a photo and it is even very difficult to search in the internet. I'd bet that in every 10 Engine rounds, lucky this thing is if you bat even a glance for just once. This "thing" is definitely fami...

Helpful and informative video
Asan po Part 1 nito po sir?
Hello sir.
sir nalilito ako kasi merong ibang formula is ganito SG@15degC (T1-15degC) 0.00064) walang "1" ano ba talga dapat?

Hello how to get this apps? I cant in playstore? Tnx
Hi! Havent lauched yet for years. There has been a problem sith the programming. Hopefully next year. Thanks for your support!
Even as a 2/E , i have learned something new .. great work , great knowledge .
Thank you so much for the compliment. 😊 keep safe and rooting for your success in that career. 😉
thank very much
You're welcome! Goodluck with your career!
Kindly explain this in English. Your audience aren't only filipino
Can you check this formula: MT= V*WCF*VCF V: Obser volume at temperature (m3)---- WCF= Density at 15 C - 0.0011.---- VCF: taken from table 54......... All bunker surveyor use this formula for calculation..!!!!!!!!!
❤️❤️
Thank you, SIR!
Ang cute ng seal pot Sir 🤣🤣🤣🤣 very engaging explanation!
Hahaha thank you so much for the very positive feedback. I hope you enjoy the rest of my videos. Please share it to others if you feel like it. Thank you and keep safe!!
When the oil need pre-heating and don't need pre-heating? Is the pre-heating different than separating temperature?
Thanks for bringing it up. Heavy Fuel oils (HFO) needed pre heating for a much efficient separation. Pre heating is done at the Settling tank while separation temp happens at the fuel oil heater before the oil goes in the fuel purifier. Diesel oils are examples of oil that does not need preheating because they are already low viscosity. I hope I answered your question. Keep safe!
Salamat
Keep safe!
Thank you sir for this video. I am now an Engine Cadet and it helps me a lot.
You're welcome! Sorry for acknowledging too late. I hope it helped you. Goodluck on your career!
Good stuff
Thank you sir sa kadagdagang knowledge about seal pots
Yung 0.000645 eh coefficient factor Ng fuel. May table Yan na depende sa density Ng @ 15 Ng supplied bunker. Makaluma na Yan. Yung accurate ngayun Yung astm table 54b
So ang advice ko, everytime may bagong bunker, check the nomogram if kelangan mo magpalit. Keep safe kabaro!
Lube oil system 4. Fresh water system 5. Steam system Kailan kasi namin sa interview heheh
Good day! Thank you for your request. As much as i wanted, hindi ko pa kaagad mGagawa yon for now. Pero thank you for this suggestion as I will create content about this one. Maraming salamat and Goodluck withnyour interviews! Keep safe!
Sir Gor thank you new subscriber😁👍🙌
Thank you for your very positive response... I hope it helped a lot.. goodluck sa career sir!
Thanks for the informative videos sir . Hope i can watch sa next episodes .. i think your onboars now because its been awhile posting..
Thank you so much for your very positive feedback. Yes im onboard for the past year kaya walaxpa akong new video. I hope i can make more. Thsnk you for watching my videos. Keep safe sir!!!!

New subscriber here. Sir panu nmn po pag compute nung G.S.V. or Gross Standard Volume @15Deg.C😁slmat po

Given : Observed Temperature 25.5 Degree Celsius, Observed Density is 0.729 and Corresponding Density in 15 Degree Celsius is 0.7375. How is done it's VCF result is 0.00112 ? Please given me it's formula.
Hi! Thanks for your comment and as far as I could help, this is my answer to your question. As based on the video I posted, the formula for VCF presented here is for approximation and must only be used if no available ASTM Table 54B. As you saw from the video, the supposed formula is 1 - [ (Observed temp - 15) x 0.000645 ] But since the density in concern is very low (lower than 0.85), the formula may be changed in to Density at 15 deg C - [ (Observed temp - 15) x 0.0007 ] So, using your given data, 0.7375 - [ (25.5 - 10) x 0.0007 ] 0.7375 - [ 10.5 x 0.0007 ] 0.7375 - 0.00735 Density at 25.5 deg C = 0.73015 So, the VCF used is 0.7375 - 0.73015 = 0.00735 VCF = 0.00735 I know there is a difference of 0.73015 - 0.729 = 0.00115 Which is very very small and can be considered as accurate enough. I hope this helps. 😇 keep safe!
@@tropangmakinista7697 But I need accurate VCF=0.00112. But your result is 0.00115?
@@AlamgirHossain0110 Thank you for your comment. There might be a slight difference so it now depends on the engineer-in-charge's decision. A difference of 0.00003 is very very small to even notice. This is the closest formula I can give you. Thank you. 😇
@@tropangmakinista7697 please sent me your email, I want to sent the chart for accurate solution.
@@tropangmakinista7697Sir How do you get the Coefficient termal expansion of 0.0007 for the density of 0.729
Thank you sir, straight to the point.
Thank you so much for your positive response. Hopefully it helped a lot. Keep safe! 😇
Kindly make this video in english language, too, for Non-tagalog people to understand. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Will try to do so. I should have put an English subtitle on this one. Thank you so much for your support 😇 Keep safe!
Beautifully explained 👌👍
Thank you so much for the very positive comment 😇
sir, can you make a video about crankshaft deflection graph? after taking all the reading, how to make a deflection graph?
Sorry for the very late response. But for now, nakafocus ako sa pagdevelop ng app for engineering seafarers. Thank you for your time watching the video 😇
Well explained kabaro. Salamat at may natutunan aku🤙

Thank you so much for the good feedback 😇 i hope you learned so much from this. Thank you 😇
Corrected volume x VCF x WCF = MT WCF= SG at 15 deg - .0011
Thx idol malaking tulong very detailed and information keep it up.
Thank you so much for a very positive feedback.
background is very irritating, in your voice.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I'd do better in my next videos. 😇 please keep safe and God bless! 😇
Normally, based on FO and RPM ang basehan ng pagcocompute ng consumption.
