What is the purpose of vacuum pump provided on board ship ? Is it safe to run the compressor without oil inside crankcase ? How do you know that all the air is vented ?
Gd question guys'. I' have the same to ask how is to possible to run compressor without oil in crankcase. At least is possible to fill up the oil by manual pump it's supposed to always on standby . Good luck, see yu in net . But the rest of all is ok.
Sir, how you purged the system,,,it is already in vaccuum, so if you open the purge valve,,,air from outside will be sucked inside...pls clear this doubt
@@6215rakesh tha you for asking for you concern about vacuum, as you can see that we had open the suction valve down below, upon opening of suction valve the vacuum was release and the gas inter from suction valve and push air upward leading to purging valve. And you observe hesshing sound coming from purging valve
Thank you for comment sir, it just a very simple method on how to purge air. During change oil the expose with air is crankcase of compressor and the system is safe for air mixture because the suction and delivery valve are closed. You can release air in the crankcase by crack open either suction or delivery valve then open the purging valve. Refrigerant gas pressure is higher than air pressure in crankcase so in this condition the refrigerant gas push the air out in the crankcase and to confirm that air is fully released the purging valve becomes frozen or cold.
@@NalugonEdward may case naba sa experience mo na nawala ang oil? Actually very rear na case yan, kon nangyary yan pumasok sa system ang oil mo you have problem sa oil seal
Good day sir, your videos are very good and very valuable. Please make it the video in English so that lot of people will get more knowledge. Thanks
Loud and clear. Safety and procedures are good.
But to run the comp. With out oil is not safe. Better to use vaccum pump.
Thank You.
Verry clear!
Thanks sa pag feature mo skin sir,, hehe,, Godbless
Great job lect.
Leak test nyo sir Ang mga valve pagkatapos nyong e full open kasi minsan nagleak rin mga yn
Excellent...
V good explain

Not all the ship are provided with vacuum pump. The more important is you have to know to carry out change oil of refer machine with out vacuum pump.
I do this most of the time in ten years as a chief engineer
@@chiefmeloy So you did the same way for all the ship? You’re CE and you know don’t want to order one vacuum pump for single ship ?

How we can confirm the air got fully purged ? Is there any method sir

Pano po kung nawawala ang oil pero wala nmn leaking
