Any news on mandating of vacs? all quiet? Police brutality in NZ and Aus? Conflict of interest leaks of Faux, FDA and CDC? Or how Faux tried this global mandate back in 2000s based on no scientific evidence? State capture all over the world? No? Oh. Almost like the governments want us to give them more power to censor and monitor our communications, while scapegoating private enterprise.

Making the company a non-profit-organization, which means no shareholders can withdraw the profits, more transparency, more supervision from society, and they have to take responsibility. Otherwise, we can sue them to get compensation for everyone. Wait, until you realize this is an idea from top-down authoritarianism China. I can't believe how racist the US is now.

If only schools would teach critical thinking skills, knowing what to believe and how to question, instead of memorization. Looking at some of the videos of recent school board meetings it appears that the parents and non-parent activists provide a challenge to the school boards and teachers since many of the parents aren’t critical thinkers.

The problem is, the technology moves faster than the education. We could teach all the critical thinking skills we wanted to, and by the time that generation was of age, social media companies would have figured out 15 new and different ways to manipulate us. We're not being given the chance to adapt to these new tools and the algorithms that fuel them.

For the last few years, I have limited my time on Social media. I unfriended and sometimes blocked anyone that was posting polarizing political propaganda on Facebook. I quit commenting on anything that was polarizing. I started hiding anything that was negative in nature. Several years later, all Facebook shows me are kitty pictures, doggy stories, and smiley faces. I guess they realized that was all I would interact with, so they now fill my feed with that kind of stuff. Oh, and I no longer have any friends that talk about politics of any kind! Haha! A few have friended me thinking they had accidentally been unfriended. Nah! They got the message because they no longer talk politics on Facebook.

@@jalabi99 it's not hacking, if you engage with political content in the algal will feed you political content and if you don't then it won't.
Why do people get a lot of political content, because they will engage with it if they see it. The same thing happens on UA-cam. If I click on any remotely political video, it will feed me more of that contact and if I click on it and I say that I'm not interested in seeing this time tonight again or don't recommend me anything from this channel it stops.
Surprise, the majority of people want to see political content, and they will engage with it

No one in my recollection believed any act could respectfully follow Jon Stewart, me included to an extent, but Trevor Noah isn’t just some carbon copy wannabe; he’s his own brilliant recipe of genius perfection!
    Well done, Daily Show. 💟☮️☯️

I wish it was just social media that was dividing us because one element could be changed more easily than multiple elements seeking to divide us. You see, a family member of mine has become so brain-washed by Faux "news" that we can no longer have a conversation. The anger, accusations, misinformation, and hype has turned my family member into one of the most unhappy individuals I know and it's heart breaking. With their TV tuned to such abhorrent sensationalism whenever possible (and I mean whenever possible!), this person is now completely isolated because no one can tolerate the hostility and lies that continually spews like an awakened volcano. Note: this happened without any social media because the person I speak of doesn't have any social media accounts. Seriously - not one. (I can't imagine how much worse it could be if social media was present in their life as well.) Sigh.... Thanks for another great show, Trevor! You're always creating amazing conversation and I sincerely appreciate you!

Around 15 minutes when Trevor mentioned seeing DJ Khaled more than his best friend is so true. I’ll go through my Instagram and will scan through 10 different celebrity stories before I see an actual friend. At that point I realize I needed to clean up my IG. There are times I even question when I even hit the follow button to some people.
