@@reece5457 It's immortality through heightened cellular regeneration. So if she never did anything that warranted such drastic injuries, she'd probably live forever.
The fact that you think only a millennial will do this… literally 99.9% of people regardless of generation, will test themselves.
Love how Claire could survive a ground zero nuclear blast, and be back with the same hair style in the next scene.
She can survive anything and still come back with the same hairstyle heheh

Season 4 was the only season to really stay on theme and have a consistent concept through out. The circus season.
It was definitely a victim of the writers strike. A shame.

I always wished she knew how to fight… I feel like she always just threw her self in harms way but it would’ve been nice if she actually trained in fighting
I'm not sure that real people living their lives would just start training to fight, though I understand where you're coming from. The message was more of an emotional one.
I don't think so , I like this series just how it is , people with powers that are not superheroes , but making the world a better place and in my opinion thos people are more awsome then clasic superheroes .
@@andreinegoita7195 I get all of that. But even police officers, firefighters, soldiers… People without abilities, have to learn some thing. But again, this is my opinion. The show was great without it but even Peter and Hiro had to learn a lil something. I’m just saying it wouldn’t hurt if Claire could work on a kick or two.

@yenchu1237 No, he had some darker times for sure, particularly when he trapped Sylar in his mind, and when he lost his wife (both times), but he always tried to do the right thing. Though what I really loved about the series was how gray the right thing often became.

Imagine how much better this show would be with today's VFX teams and budgets!
This show was the #1 show at the time, then a writer's strike ruined it.
Modern VFX seem to have regressed in the last 15 years.

Such an amazing series for exactly one season.
writers strike happened while shooting the first part of the second season. that's why it fell apart. They couldn't use anything they hadn't yet filmed, and couldn't use what the writers had already written... which was the ending of the first half of the season. So all that build up had no pay off... if you watch the commentary on the second season they show the story boards for what was supposed to happen, and it was cool.

There is this sick idea that always pops up into my head when I see Claire !
She could feed a lot of people if we are in a catastrophic event with no food and need to resort to cannibalism

That's actually pretty creative, I am impressed.
Even rapid cell regeneration doesn't make you a true Immortal. Her body can still be damaged which mean she can still die. Instant incineration is one way, you can't regenerate if there's nothing left to regenerate from.

She got blown up in a nuclear blast and came back bro... I think her immortality is on Deadpool level. So maybe not decapitation or incineration but it is possible she can croak

because different from wolverine, Claire can't feel pain. by that definition she can't feel anything physical.. plus the fact you can't die at all from that means you can't feel anything forever.. I don't think a normal person wants that..

The morgue scene blew my mind. Hooked from then on. The episodes in the apocalyptic future were awesome, too.
Too bad the series went down the pooper, but season 1 was the live action X-men show I always wanted.
People always say it’s like X-men but I can’t really find the similarities
writers strike happened during the first half of season two, which prevented them from using anything they had not yet shot... which happened to be mainly the ending of the first half of the show when the vial drops, breaks and spreads. Instead they ended up catching it, and preventing everything the season was building up to.. and planned for during the second half of the season. The writers strike killed this show.
Natural mutant abilities plus the company which is kinda like hellfire club plus weapon X program.
Take me back to the years when this came out 😩😭

So much potential, I saw a post the other day about shows that were cancelled or shows that everyone forgot about, this is definitely one of them. It had all the pieces to be a masterpiece but it didn't happen.

Which makes no sense in hindsight shows eventually did get to her and she survived anyway so had he got her earlier it wouldn't have changed the explosive ending.

I mean, made for TV in 2006. It's not terrible.
Was always curious, why people in american movies, immediately start to freak out when they discover superpowers. It is understandable, when this superpower is hurting its wielder or someone around him without his will(like that man, Ted, who emiitted high levels of radiation, or Sylar, who had the urge to cut open other people with powers), but when its something like super-regeneration? Flight? Telekinesis, mind reading, time stopping, teleportation... I think, most people would gladly give everything they own for such power.
note how she's several attempts into trying to kill herself at the start- Claire's not freaked out because she's got powers. Well, she technically is, but that's mostly because without them she'd not be doing anything at all. Probably the worst power to have when actively suicidal- if anything it looks like she was freaking out due to not coping with normal teenage pressure, and sans powers she'd just be a sad memorial in a local paper.
@@reganator5000 I agree, Claire's freakout can be justified, more or less. But what I meant, there is definitely a trend when people freak out upon finding a superpower. I believe, anyone with IQ higher than their age, would carefully test these powers first to find the limits and then use them, if possible - to get rich or to reach other goal they think is important.
@@side2kit change’s their identity and sense of self. You discover you aren’t who or what you know yourself to be. Not to mention the American govt kills and experiments on its own citizens who demonstrate abilities or ideas that contradict the image they present to the public
There are so many comebacks of earlier franchises. Please make an original "heroes" movie! Bring back the original actors.

The last sequence - horribly-burnt Claire regenerates as she moves down the walkway to her family on the sidewalk - was given far more time and money to film than usual because the producers wanted to make it as realistic as possible. Two stunt doubles, a LOT of prosthetics, and CGI all combined to make it so.

This show would be a lot better today, the CGI and technology of today's age would make things a lot better
