Honestly, the entire existence of Peter created a bit of a problem for the narrative of Heroes. It made a lot of sense for Season 1 where he had to struggle with all his powers, but after that you've got a hideously overpowered hero who can easily deal with any obstacle thrown at him. Honestly, I think it would have been better to have both Sylar and Peter die at the end of Season 1 so there can actually be some believable stakes for later seasons. However, removing Peter does present an issue because he is the heart of heroes. It's not really the same without him imo. He's the closest thing this show has to a main protagonist. Imo, after leaving them alive, they could - and should - have kept Peter's story more laser focused on Sylar. They were basically the yin and yang of the show and having them play a cat and mouse game should have been where the series took them after Season 1. It would make sense for Peter go after Sylar because he's the only one who can stop him, eventually culminating in an epic showdown that would end the series. However, what they did with him was... not great.
They made him far too powerful from the onset. I’ve said that they should have wrote him to where he could use any power but using multiple powers should make the power weaker. If he only uses healing. Then he can heal instantly. But let’s just he uses healing and flying. It should take longer to heal and he can just jump really high but not fly. Or if he uses hiros power along with another he should only be able to SLOW time or teleport a short distance. By season two he literally could do anything with no weaknesses.
I feel like if they didn’t want to make him OP, they could’ve put a time limit on his powers, or make him like Marvels Rogue, and let him acquire powers by touch.
The show should had depicted Peter’s power slowly and mysteriously. Then by season 4 introduce OP future Peter and OP future Sylar and their conflict (which further shows how powerful he really is even when the show depicts him as dull or non-important at that point). OP Peter trains present Peter in order to save the heroes from the government hunting. Which can explain a short but powerful alliance between Peter and Sylar in order to defend all the heroes. Then you can get the series to show a Peter learning how to use his powers. Even so, how he almost loses his mind with all of them. Which could affect his power to acquire more. Then Peter more as a protagonist, has to defeat his father. Which could be an interesting history. Since it could lead to a future of super powerful humans in a dystopian world. Which he sees when learns to control time travel. After that, the hunt of Sylar is on. Is his main goal now with all the people he kills. And that could be the climax of the series. Since that it’s the conflict since season 1. Empathy vs The Hunger.

Heros plot in one sentence Emphatic Mimicry vs Initiate Aptitude
speed 5?! he got teleportation, what do you mean lmao. It should be 8 or 9
I think they use speed like how fast they can react and such, like can they catch bullets, run, and similar movement based measurements. Teleportation isn't speed, it's just stopping existing at point be and continuing existence at point b. There's no speed control to do it faster or slower

What show is this
Heroes, it's too good a show.
Do X-men wraith all powers from X-men days of future past.
Can he really fly or is that just him using his telekinesis?
He can actually fly, it was one of his first abilities.
Peters very first absorbed ability was precognitive dreaming, and he got it from his mother, though he didn't find that out until later. I only mention it because it's what causes all of the dreams he has in Episode 1 of the first season where he imagines himself flying, pushing him towards the idea that he's somehow special.
We find out later that his brother Nathan has the power to fly (Straight up Superman style, full blown supersonic flight), and Peter has just been dreaming about himself using his brother's ability. It was pretty clever and made the first episode pretty special.
Intelligence - 3 out of 10. So true :))
Peter Peterrelli vs Sylar: who would win?
Sylar.
@@user-tn1jm4lt8c Peter s2
@@tomlawal7991 Sylar is smarter and has more control of his abilities.
@@user-tn1jm4lt8c but if Peter stood near Sylar he’d basically copy every power Sylar has. And Peter’s pretty smart too.
Peter
Could have been strong 💪😪
Precognitive Dreams from angela Petrelli?
