Thank you The Knack for this awesome hit song! Since 1979 when I was in my senior year of high school I would crank this up on my radio. I still crank it up today on my cd 💿 which I listen to on replay mode and yes, I still crank it up in my car! What memories! Too bad we lost Doug Fieger - vocalist Bruce Gary - drummer Pat Torpey - drummer
Great live version of this classic. But the camera work is awful. It’s a sing of the times. Why camera guys and producers felt we want to only see head shots while performing is beyond me. Pan out just a bit to watch them play their instruments.
I once heard a story that the solo was actually recorded afterwards and punched in, because the.....producer?...thought the song needed more "depth". If you listen to the album really close, you can hear the edit at the slide on the bass.
Mario Bohórquez E there are a couple of dud notes actually - not his best live performance of it. There’s one from Japan that is note-perfect. I heard an interview with Burton some years ago and he mentioned that this Australian concert was the first time that they’d been simulcast live on the radio and that he was particularly conscious of making mistakes. As is so often the case: the more you worry about making them the more likely you are to make them. And for the record yes I do play the solo live.
This song killed Disco. Incredible drummer.bass line is epic. Riff unforgettable, lead guitar? Sensational. Lyrics? Nasty in a good way. Pop gem.
Dude. Lol…this shit pervy as fuck….hits like a motherfucker, though…
Thank you, THE KNACK's members!☆☆☆
"MY SHARONA" always makes me crazy!
Greeting from Japan with love.♡♡♡
The guitar solo was genius!!

These guys were excellent live.
An extremely under rated band for it's lyrics and performance!!
Berton Averre!!!! Yeppp!
Yes yes yes one of my favorites too... He played this lead with all the characteristics of the professional he was and is, the same way every time.
espectacular!!el solo es increible!!
Doug forever ! THE KNACKは最高のバンド
Doug Fieger AND Bruce Gary....RIP
Gracias Doug, por la musica. Seguro que el cielo tambien necesitaba tu musica. Pudiste haber sido nuestro hermano, seguro ahi nos vemos.
An absolute classic.
GREAT SONG!!!
Burton Avsrre, NEVER mentioned in any top 20 guitar solos of all time. That's a travesty!
We had a show with Queen in San Diego and theywent in to the riff and they all knew it!!! Louie Procaccino
Who else have been thinking about "My Corona" as of lately?

The solo is amazing, I just wish it had a little more gain as in the studio version

DeanMk1 yep. You can.

Un solo de tremendo calibre
Fabuloso..!!
Doug Fieger is the lost brother of Pete Townshend (the who)
I get Keith Moon vibes.
Yeah, with the Windmill guitar motion ....
ay-a-tollah
One of the greatest guitar solos of all time and we barely see Berton Averre play....just Doug Fieger's goofy ass.
Ja das stimmt 😮
They didn’t show his hands at all during the guitar solo! How stupid
And it was all downhill from there.
The Jewish Beatles
