invested in a couple "high-end" statement pieces that stand out and really say who they are, then they mixed those with "lower end" pieces that are either thrifted, hand me downs, or from chain stores like Zara and Asos.
The people with the worst style:
Just bought all "high end" name brand items without thinking much about how the pieces would flow together -- logo mania is not style imo.

The guy who wore the most expensive outfits in our college was actually sleeping with a world class fashion designer. His sugar daddy would just gift him Gucci/Tom Ford clothes like every weekend. He at least had good style and was pretty cool to hang out with so we didn't mind him that much.
I studied there and 50% of the class are international students, who pay a much higher tuition fee than domestic students. P.S. We have government funded loans in the U.K.
