Been a great series so far. I had my R6 stolen about 5 years ago, I've been itching to get back on the saddle. I was looking up 2022 R1 info and came across your videos. I like all the upgrades you've done, and appreciate the how to aspect of them. Since I started looking up bikes again the UA-cam algorithm has gone full force at me, causing my small itch to turn full blown addiction again. My wife is the only reason I've not walked into a dealer ship at this point lol. I'm looking forward to my new future bike though, and look forward to seeing what upgrades you make down the road. I'll be re watching them when I make these same upgrades.
Thanks for the support! I am sorry to hear about your R6. I would be so upset. These new R1's can power down to a manageable level until you can tame the horsepower. They are incredible and hope you get an R1!
Videos have been a huge help. Installing my tune now. Have the Austin racing decat kit. Spitting flames and stupid loud. Can’t wait for the tune and filter to be finished!
@@MotoViceOfficial did you get a check engine light on your bike after tune? P1600 error code. Should I delete DTC like it enables on the flasher? Still waiting to hear from brentuning. Installed air filter and tune today. Light came on… 🙄
Hey pop! Love the build series. I have a 21. We have a lot of the same mods. Thinking about doing this soon. I only have the Akra slip on tho. Saving for that mid pipe right now.
Hey brotha thanks for the video! Was wondering if they still had you run a servo buddy even with the flash? And did the servo buddy interfere with the flashing process?
I have the same bike and looking to get the Bren tune but it says not yet supported do you have any additional information on this on how you made that work I would really appreciate it thanks
Hey there so the 20-22 is the same bike except for the logo and fairings colors. Bren Tuned my 22 so you will be all set when you start the process of sending them your vin, mods and bike year!
Appreciate the response I ended up sending the ecu to Moore mafia has a great service out and back in the bike in two days love the videos by the way our bikes are identical rizomas and everything
@@half_blaked33 So strange because they did my 2022. I have noticed a lot of sites havent updated even part compatibility for the 2022 even though they are the same bike besides cosmetics.
Good video super informative, thank you! I do have a question thou, so you rode your bike with the exhaust swap without tuning it? If so im assume everything was good? Lean condition?
Yep, the stock ecu will adjust a little bit to compensate without a flash so its safe. Once you start adding an air filter though, that's when a tune is needed as the bike is more leaned out.
So i had the bike tuned by a different company after BT Moto. At that time i didnt have the o2 sensors welded on the graves system, kept having issues so had graves weld the plugs back on.
Thanks for your videos on the 2022 R1 Man. I just got mine about a month ago and they have helped out! Did you have to change the tune when you changed the Exhaust or did you do this after you put the Graves on?
Yep, it isn't hard at all! Just a flat head to push the pin holder open and them swap them, make sure they are flush and then clock it up with the button on the other side!
I’m waiting for my hand held in the mail for my 2020 r1. I was interested in installing block off plates and I was looking to remove the pair valve and the o2 sensor system. Do you know if this can be done with the Bren tune or is it best to leave them on? (I do have an sc projects exhaust to install as well)
Hello, is it safe to run the Sprint air filter without the stock air filter/ restriction? I have a 2020 R1 with a cat delete and slip on just want to make sure its safe to get more air without a ecu flash/tune after. Thanks in advance.
i bought my 2020 r1 used and it came with a brentuner that was never used, BT said i would be able to use it on the bike, sine the previous owner already paid for it, but i cant get my PC to read that the tuner is connected. Have you ever had this happen? if so, do you know what the fix might be?
@@MotoViceOfficial I did mine following your steps lol and btmoto send me different steps 🙁 bike didn’t want to turn on. Now it is good to go, nice channel brother 🔥
@@RideMB29 So I wasn't able to film one part of the steps because I believe it would be considered a "trade secret" but I think I know what you are talking about. I believe in the video i mentioned that as well.
I watched a vid on brentuning tuning a fireblade SP and they do the same thing to that 38,000$ motorcycle.. I don't understand why they are neutering these very expensive motorcycles as much as they do.. I don't know if it's for safety reasons for the government or whatever but when you're spending 20k + on a superbike I don't want to have to spend another couple of thousand dollars just to get it to run the way it should be running.. the Fireblade SP one RLY blows me away.. after Brendan unlocked it and tuned the engine it literally gained just over 50 WHP!?!.. if I spent 40k on a bike then had to spend another 3 or 4 thousand dollars just to get it to run the way it should believe you me ur finna hear from my a$$ lol
Unfortunately, its all due to Europe's emission laws. Euro 6 will be even worse. They are the biggest market that has the most regs. Rather than having two assembly lines for different countries, I mean it sucks but it makes sense.
I reply to all comments on my videos, so please support the channel by dropping a like, comment and subscribe for future content!
Thank you so much for such a descriptive and informative video!!! I just ordered mine last night👍
Glad it was helpful!

Need your help , I have the 2016 r1 .. can't find that red port that the flash connects too
Did you have to disassemble anything inside the ecu?

@@MotoViceOfficial good deal. Thanks. Seeing the stock air filter i can tell it's definitely restrictive
@@stephencarbajal5657 Yes it was. You also get some more tone out of the front of the motor which sounds nice as well!
Soo $800 for the tool just to get an OTS map and then a tune to dial it in? Why not flash the ecu for almost the same price? Whats the pros and cons?
Hello,
excellent video.
After you flashed the bike did you reinstall your O2 sensors? If not, did you have any issues?
So i had the bike tuned by a different company after BT Moto. At that time i didnt have the o2 sensors welded on the graves system, kept having issues so had graves weld the plugs back on.
Thanks for your videos on the 2022 R1 Man. I just got mine about a month ago and they have helped out! Did you have to change the tune when you changed the Exhaust or did you do this after you put the Graves on?
Niope no tune required. ECU will self adjust. But a flash or tune will adjust throttle and AFR to optimize your system.
Did you have to repin the ecu ? how hard was it to do any special tools?
Yep, it isn't hard at all! Just a flat head to push the pin holder open and them swap them, make sure they are flush and then clock it up with the button on the other side!
@@MotoViceOfficial Where/how did you get the info from Brentuning showing how to do this? I'm not finding the info on their site. thanks!
@@zachemighjewelry After B/T sends you the map they will give you a password for a privte video on how to repin the ECU & remove the O2 sensors.

I got a 23 r1 with graves full ti exhaust and a sprint filter do you recommend a b/t over a dyno tune ?
that filter is strange man ... i have the P08 SF on my R1 2021 and even the OEM filter dont have that part 🤷
The stock filter? I know!
You gotta let me ride it!

So the license needs to be transferred from the previous vin. Bren might be able to help.
Have the same hat.
Nice hat man!!
Can it run without ecu flash
Yep! The ecu will self adjust a little. A flash will optimize your system, throttle response and AFR.
You didn’t for the error code P1EF5?
