Separating a Mesh Body in Fusion 360

  • For my book in progress, Electronics for Props & Cosplay, I have a goal for a customizable helmet. I purchased a pack of royalty-free helmets from CGTrader. These need to be heavily modified to work as parts for the book. To begin the process, I have to the provided FBX files, import them into Fusion 360 then split up the single mesh body into multiple parts. This is the process I took.
