Nexus Blitz should be magma themed
i would LOVE competitive 2v2
IMO 5v5 teamfighting is the worst part of LoL. The feeling of having been winning your lane, farming well, everything going good, but then you lose every teamfight because your bot fed their adc and you get stunlocked by 4 other enemies, sucks Nothing's better than pitting your skills against a single opponent and coming out on top, and magma chamber would have been perfect for that.
I think one of the biggest issues with snowdown showdown is that if you get a kill early than the game is really short. This would mean that sometimes the loading screen time took a lot longer than the actual game play and no causal player would want to have more wait time than actual playtime per game.
Magma Chamber was originally made for 8v8/10v10 with 5 lanes that had very few ways to cross into each of the lanes other than some main cross roads that would be points of contest for either side.Production and balancing on the new map was slow and tedious and very little progress was made they used the progress they did have for the 2v2 map which is why there weird nonsensical paths around the center because that would of been points of crossing for other lanes. It was scrapped very hush hush and the showdown map for the big name players was kind of a bone to the people waiting to see magma chamber before they officially said production on it was cancelled.

If only rules like first blood 100 cs or tower kill wouldnt exist it would be 1-1 2-2 till finish this map could sucesed if its not temporaly ofc it would be nice edition to 3v3 map but then again riot all about TEAM PLAY so if there would be map where 1-1 players play i would imagine everyone would just stop playing SR and just play 1-1 i mean become challanger with team great and all but when you can only rely on yourself and become greatest player BY YOURSELF in one ranked it kinda removes the point of teamplay i mean those who ranked wanna become best players in the world right ? Why do i need 4 additional noobs when i can become using my own skills not relying on anyone else but only me ^^

They should make a ranked mode for magma chamber, have two versions. In one you vote who to play in a mirror match, the other is blind pick and you don't know who the other person will play. Don't make it ranked like it's Iron to challenger, just give a rank, everyone knows who is number 1 and who is the worst on the server if they want to check that.

Hey Vandiril! If you read comments, i have ab easy way to balance the game mode. Basically take each matchup win rates and give more rewards for riskier picks. If soraka has 20% win rate va yasuo then give her 80% more lp gain while yasuo wins 80% less for winning.

I really like to see magma chamber in league. Those 1v1 match are intense AF! I want to play 1v1 in this map!
if magma chamber was done with stocks lives (like in the nexus blitz mini BR mode event)
it wouldn't have to be a short game coz you either depletes all stock of a player or reach the enemy nexus.
I said it before and I say it again... people think they want balance, what they want is fun gameplay uniqe playstyle and fun game modes.... If people wanted a trule balanced game people would be forced to play (5 zed vs 5 zed) or (5 amumu vs 5 amumu) because thats balanced to 100%. That is not what people want (scratch the point of it being a nightmare to balance because it wouldn't) thats where the meta takes place.
Sudenly in 2023 we discover that it is avtualy posible to make nice 2x2 gamemode for LoL called Arena xD

Heck even as some kind of mythical-tier complete reskin of SR.
Twisted Treeline has a ranked mode, but it has no palancing too.

I personally think that magma chamber for canceled because people could just make their own rules etc and play custom games instead of a new game mode altogether. It would be cool to see if would last if it was released now though

nope. definitely not a game mode riot should bring back. especially with a ranked system. why?
1) a nightmare to balance
2) would feed the delusion of low elo people who believe they're stuck in their division cause they get bad teammates every game and they play well
3) would water down game modes that actually matter - meaning summoner's rift
overall, i'm glad they abandoned it and i don't want to see the idea come back ever again. the re-skin of summoner's rift into magma chamber's look does seem good though and i would like that.
No one even cares about it anymore, why is this bought up again?
