Here’s what I know: There’s a lumber place called Kleet Lumber that’s west of Northport, which is one of their stops. These trains arrive at Northport coming East, park in the siding, switch the engines to the other side of the train, wait for a gap in the LIRR schedule, and proceed West to make their delivery. I’ve been gathering the info for when this happens, and they usually go west on Wednesday’s at 12:20. But that obviously can change.
Nice catches.
I see a lumber company lower on the Port Jefferson line, but not North of Northport, so where's this train headed to?
