Miele ranges are a nightmare. I had one delivered to me pre-broke, they replaced this with another one that pre-broke as the oven fans didn't work, they "fixed", but it never worked properly. Every use I got a face full of steam, so I didn't use it much. The automatic cooking features never worked. It took 3 months from "delivery" day to actually get a somewhat working range. Now after little use, the oven doesn't work at all and they can't seem to fix it, I have been out of an oven since March. The grill is designed to burn food. This seems to be a design feature, because after 4 years, they haven't re-designed it. Service is nice, but dysfunctional and overworked, so every call is half an hour on hold and then a month out scheduling. Miele used to be good quality, but I think they destroying their reputation.
I used to live in NJ and had Miele cooktop and Gaggenau ovens. I am now in central Florida and I would love to buy a Miele induction range. But I cannot find anyone who will install or service it. I am really bummed.
Thank you for the video, it's very informative! Quick question: Are grill and griddle interchangeable? If I buy a Miele range with a grill, can I use a griddle on it?
Great question Utku Gumusay - Unfortunately they are not interchangeable so you will have to make sure you choose the right option for your long-term use. If you cook meats, fish and seafood a lot and desire that grill sear or taste, we recommend the grill. If you love cooking breakfast items a lot (pancakes, eggs, french toast) and sometimes hamburger sliders or scallops, then we recommend the griddle

Matter of time can you tell me what you like & dislike about it? I’m considering buying one since the lower end gas ranges have horrible reviews
What don’t you like about it? I’ve heard that the simmer isn’t as low as the wolf.
How do you clean the griddle? Can the griddle plate be removed and put into the dishwasher? Also, is there a cover for the griddle like the Wolf brand, so the griddle plate is covered up when not using and looks clean. And what is the authorized dealer in Naples Florida area? Thanks a lot!
Hello M Xue - yes the griddle does come with a cover. To clean, we recommend using a flat spatula and salt, scraping starting at the top and pulling down into the grease reservoir. Then you can take a cloth with some oil and wipe it down again. The salt gets rid of any flavors so you don't taste onions in your pancakes the next morning :-). Not sure where you are in Flordia but there is an experience center in Boca Raton and Coral Gales. Hope this helps!

This is indeed a tough question to answer! It all boils down to your personal preference. For example if you're looking for a steam function and wireless cooking probe, Miele might win!
